Author's Notes: Welcome to my new fic, if you've enjoyed any of my previous stories I hope you like this one just as much. I plan on updating frequently and making it interesting. I have a lot planned and I really hope you enjoy it.Oh by the way they're all in their senior year.

The first day of senior year, the time where high school students reinvent themselves, jocks compete for the top of the heap to prepare for recruiters, and the braniacs figure out a way to increase their already excessively high GPA’s. Yup, it’s this year that’ll make or break you.

All the past years here have all been in preparation of this. Seniors where top dogs here and everyone else was clearly their bitch. On top of the world, and filled with dreams and hopes, the senior class was a force to be reckoned with.

And I’m one of them.

But I don’t feel like one of them.

My name is Blaine Anderson, and today is my first day here at William McKinley High School. Yeah, yeah, I know who transfers their senior year? Well I do okay. It wasn’t my choice, my family was in the middle of relocating and this was the only school I was zoned for. It is the middle of Ohio after all.

So, like I said, I should be living dreams, crushing freshman, and making memories. But I feel like an underdog. I’m a newbie, and to be honest I’m scared.

This isn’t my first time transferring schools, certainly not my first time being the new kid in class, and not my last time being the center of attention.

My school switching started in sixth grade. I had just been outed, after someone found my personal journal in which I confessed my love of all things gay and my huge crush on a seventh grader named James. Yup I was gay, and I was out.

Although my family supported me completely and loved me unconditionally, my classmates didn’t have the same sentiments. Needless to say I’m always the bullies’ main target, and I’ve changed schools a lot because of it.

After going through practically all the schools in my district my dad decided it was time to just move. So here I am new town, new school, and new opportunities. And luckily just a year of this left to go.

“Good morning, Blaine Anderson?” The principal said extending his hand for me to shake as he read over my charts. “Welcome to McKinley, I hope you like it here.” He said with a smile. A rather creepy smile. Who was this guy? He smelled strongly of bad cologne and failure. Poor fellow.

“Thank you sir.” I said with my most genuine smile, well the most genuine I could muster up.

“Let me go grab a student to show you around.” He said leaving the room for a second.

“Finn Hudson?” He called into the hall.

“What up Mr. Figgins? Am I in trouble?” He asked awkwardly ducking his head as he entered the room. My god this kid was freakishly tall and kind of goofy looking. But he was cute I’ll give him that.

“Not at all Finn, I was just wondering if you could show Blaine here around today. He’s in a majority of your classes and his files said he was in a few choirs so maybe you can recruit him for Glee club.” Figgins suggested.

“Shit I totally forgot I’m co-captain of that. I have Glee club now if you wanna come.” Finn offered nicely.

“Sure.” I shrugged. I might as well get on his good side if I’m looking to make friends.

“Awesome!” He said leading the way.

“Finn you’re late!” A short brunette girl asked the second Finn and I walked into the room.

“Sorry Rach, I was talking with Figgins. This is Blaine.” He said and I waved dumbly.

“Hi Blaine! I’m Rachel Barbra Berry. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Do you sing?” She spoke quickly shaking my hand roughly.

“Hi Rachel, yeah I do sing.” I explained.

“Excellent, welcome to Glee Club.” She said with a smile.

“That’s it?” I asked. “I’m in? Just like that?” I asked confused.

“We’re short on members; we could use all the talent we can get.” She said curtly.

“Awesome.” I said dryly.

After meeting some more of the Glee kids Finn showed me to my first class, one of the few class we actually didn’t have together, AP English Language.

Finn introduced me the teacher and then told me to have a seat in the front row and he’d be right back, I watched him walk up to a really attractive guy with sunken in features and porcelain skin, I don’t know what Finn was saying but the other guy looked miserable. He looked up at me and smiled, his crystal blue eyes sparkling as his eyes met mine. I blushed and looked down when he saw me and tried to look not like a creeper.

Shortly Finn came back and the gorgeous boy was standing with him. He was wearing tight dark blue skinny jeans, cuffed at the ankles with a pair of well-worn vans. He wore a black sweatshirt the hung off the shoulders and clung to his slim waist. A chain hung from his jeans and a tattoo showed on his exposed flesh until he pulled his sweatshirt down self-consciously. His ears were decorated with black gages and his noise and eyebrow had small piercings. His hair although clearly chestnut brown contained aqua highlights that matched his eyes perfectly. He looked nervous but Finn dragged him up and stood him in front of me.

“Sit next to him and be nice.” Finn ordered and sat him down in the chair next to mine.

“Blaine this is my brother Kurt, Kurt this is Blaine. Blaine’s new here and I’m supposed to hang around him until he gets situated. I’m not in this class so I’m trusting you to make sure he’s okay.” Finn explained.

“Hi Blaine.” Kurt smiled slightly and shooed Finn away.

“Alright I’m going to be late for class so I’ll see you later. Blaine I’ll meet you here after class. Don’t let Kurt influence you negatively.” Finn warned and walked out.

“So I feel like you’re old enough to not need a sitter. I’m going to go smoke; I’ll be back by the end of this period.” Kurt whispered before standing up and leaving.

“Hummel where are you going?” The teacher asked.

“I’ll be back.” He said waving her off and just left.

Like that, he just left. I don’t understand who he was or what his story was, but I was completely intrigued by him.

He didn’t into the high school social hierarchy, and he was like nothing I’ve ever seen.

He did end up coming back to class, this time accompanied by a blonde girl, with bright pink streaks in her hair. She went by the name of Q and she is the one who informed me of the skanks.

Apparently there’s a lot I don’t know. But knowing it involves someone as beautiful as Kurt I’m willing to do anything to find out.

My first day at this school was much like my other first days, except for Kurt. He was so unlike anything I’ve ever encountered before. I can’t even explain it. It was like I was drawn to him, a force pulling me in. Having been to so many schools I’ve kind of become a cynic. I observe and I judge, I guess that’s what makes me such a good listener, because I’m detail oriented. I don’t know what it was about Kurt, but something about him stuck out, he was a detail I hadn’t expected. He and the skanks were something I hadn’t seen coming.

But just like that, he was there.

End Notes: TBC.Well that was chapter one, I hope you liked it. Please leave a review, tell me what you think, does it suck? is it okay? what do you think?

I always get so nervous when I start a new fic because no one reads it or comments on it for days and I just sit there refreshing the page like 'why don't you love me!' lol but thanks for reading!!! I'll be updating frequently so you won't have to wait much longer!

Umm of course it doesn't suck! Nothin you do ever sucks! You are the best writer like ever and this was an excellent start and damn skank!Kurt sounds incredibly sexy and this is just too perfect! I can't wait for more! :)

This was really good and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Hahaha thanks! Yeah I was hoping to earn some chuckles. Haha thanks for reading!!!

I told you I would be reading your next story! :)This is a good beginning and i'm very curious to see how this story is going to develop! I'm not sure if you wanted this effect but I laughed so hard when you wrote "He smelled strongly of bad cologne and failure". Anywho! Great beginning! :D

Girl shut yo mouf!!!!! Kurt with anyone is hot because Kurt is hot. His hotness makes the pairing that much hotter. Oh my god Sadie that game was awesome. It was so intense. It went into double overtime and we won 38 to 35. It was so scary I swear my heart stopped. And our newbie kicker won us the game and when he went to kick the winning field goal everyone got all quiet and I was just like "he's so small" and then I imagined him dancing to single ladies. Okay football player Kurt is hot.

Haha ewww Kurt and Sam sounds not hot. Sorry! Haha glad you enjoyed the football game! :)

Oh my god that means the world to me!!!!! I'm so happy thank you so much!!!

Hahahahahahaha True! Kurt is hot ;) But I still ship Klaine and only Klaine! My heart belongs to them! <3 And kurtbastian is hot. But only in a change in the weather. I love that story. And I totally ship Kurt and chandler. God, that makes me such a bad person. For a while, I wanted Kurt and Blaine to break up because I loved chandler so much but then I realized that Klaine is my everything and they are perfect. I know, Im a bad person. Haha That sounds so much fun!! You know I have never been to a football game. I really want to though!! The one time my family went, I was in the hospital. I'm more of a hockey and baseball fan. But I don't like watch them religiously. And the st Louis rams suck and they aren't even worth watching. They always lose. Haha I'm going to bed! Night! Text me in the morning! And I am super excited about your next update!

Hahaha I tell you Kurt with anyone. Haha I've been to one pro football game and it was when I was super little and I don't even remember it. I think the Ravens won though. Yeah I watch the Ravens religiously, and baseball is okay in my book. I like watching the O's, but there bipolar with their skill levels. They are either amazing or the suck there's no inbetween. But I'll still always watch them. Okey dokey I'll update soon, I just have to write the next chapter after I finish responding to reviews.

Ohhh my god. Character death is in the description thing! Please tell me that Kurt and Burt and Blaine and all the skanks are alright! :'(

Um three out of the four you listed are okay. Since you're reading the story discription, maybe a hint would be found in the song the tittle comes from. Sorry. I love you! Thanks for reading!

I knew I could convert you! Haha but this is Scarves & Coffee, klaine is always endgame and will soon start to take priority starting in the next few chapters. But I'm glad I finnaly got you to admit it! Haha thanks for reading :)

Ok sam and Kurt are cute together. There I said it. Maybe it's cause you are such an excellent writer ;)

please update soon! i really love this story!
