“Thank God those two came to their senses and got back together.” Rachel clapped when the two walked back into the choir room holding hands.
“Good thing. Kurt was getting all depressed and shit. It was bumming me out.” Finn added. “Congrats bro.” He said attempting to fist bump Kurt but Kurt just gave a bitch glare.
“Aww Blainers was just as depressed.” Wes added from where he was sitting next to Mercedes and David.
“Wouldn’t stop bitching about how much he loooovveeed Kurt and how much he missed him and all that. It was becoming annoying.” David laughed.
“I bet it was adorable.” Rachel smiled.
“What about Kurt, was he as whinny?” Wes asked.
“Not really...”
“He didn’t talk about it…”
“I still don’t know which one of you is Blaine…”
“Or why you’re here to apologize…”
“Or why Santana said you hurt him…”
“Kurt was just depressed. He didn’t talk about it though. We also didn’t ask…”
Well that was reassuring to Blaine. Not. He missed Kurt so much and Kurt didn’t even tell his friends about him. Like yeah apparently Rachel and Mercedes and Finn knew. But he was depressed and just held it in? That doesn’t sound healthy..
“Well we all handle things differently.” Kurt shrugged wrapping his arms around his waist in an almost protective manner as he shrunk down in his chair.
“Blaine even prepared a song to sing in case you wouldn’t take him back.” David laughed and Blaine blushed.
“He should sing it.” Rachel suggested.
“Wouldn’t want you to get a sneak peak at the competition.” Wes teased.
“You watched Kurt! It’s only fair we watch one of yours!” Rachel demanded.
“Okay..Only if you guys don’t have a problem with it.” Blaine shrugged.
“Go right ahead.” Mr. Schue said gesturing to the front of the room.
“On the other side of a street I knew. Stood a boy that looked like you, I guess that’s déjà vu. But I thought this can’t be true..Cause you moved to west LA or New York or Santé Fe. Or where ever to get away from me.” Blaine sang looking at Kurt.
“Oh but that one night. Was more than just right. I didn’t leave you because I was all through. Oh I was overwhelmed, and frankly scared as hell. Because I really fell for you.”
“Oh I swear to you. I’ll be there for you. This is not a drive by. Just a shy guy looking for a two ply hefty bag to hold my love. When you move me everything is groovy. They don’t like it sue me. Either way you do me.”
“Oh I swear to you. I’ll be there for you. This is not a drive by.”
“On the upside of a downward spiral. My love for you went viral. And I loved you every mile you drove away. But now here you are again. So let’s skip the ‘how you been’ and get down to the ‘more than friends’ at last.”
“Oh but that one night. Is still the highlight. I didn’t need you until I came to. And I was overwhelmed, and frankly scared as hell.
“Please believe that when I leave. There's nothing up my sleeve but love for you. And a little time to get my head together too.”
“On the other side of a street I knew. Stood a boy that looked like you, I guess that’s déjà vu. But I thought this can’t be true..Cause Oh I swear to you.
Blaine closed the song pulling Kurt into an embrace as everyone clapped.
Maybe it could be like the song said. Maybe Blaine would be there for Kurt.
God knows Kurt needed someone to be there for him. Maybe Blaine could be that guy.
After causing so much heartbreak, maybe Blaine could be just what Kurt needs to put the pieces back together.
But before Blaine could help in anyway, Kurt would have to confide in him.
He’d have to tell him everything.
And he wasn’t sure he was quite ready for that.
Although a look into those hazel eyes told him all he needed to know.
He could get better.
He could get better with the help of Blaine Anderson.
Blaine Anderson, the trainer from camp, his boyfriend, the love of his life, his savior?
Could Blaine save him?
He surely hoped so.
He had put all his trust in Blaine once before and it had been shattered like his heart. Can he trust him a second time? Or will he be let down.
So many questions, so few answers.
All Kurt knew for sure is that he loved Blaine and knew that Blaine’s help was the only thing he had going for him.
