"You're just a small bump unborn, in four months you're brought to life, you might be left with my hair, but you'll have your father's eyes. I'll hold your body in my hands, be as gentle as I can, but for now you're scan of my unmade plans, a small bump in four months, you're brought to life." Blaine sang under his breath as he sat in traffic, his hand on Kurt's stomach.

"You are my one and only. You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight. Oh, you are my one and only. You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight. And you'll be alright." Kurt sang quietly in response as he cried and cars began moving and their haste to the hospital continued.

"Oh, you're just a small bump unknown; you'll grow into your skin. With a smile like his and a dimple beneath your chin. Finger nails the size of a half grain of rice. And eyelids closed to be soon opened wide. A small bump, in four months you'll open your eyes." They sang softly with misted eyes.

"Cause you were just a small bump unborn for four months then torn from life, maybe you were needed up there but we're still unaware as why." Blaine sang and Kurt cried.

"Stop it Blaine, we're not losing this baby." Kurt cried.

"Kurt, it's just a song." Blaine reminded him.

"Well it's a sad song." Kurt frowned. "It hurts, I need help." Kurt cried grabbing his stomach.

"What is going on???" Tina asked and Kurt cried.

"Tina you fucking killed my unborn baby." Blaine growled angrily.

"It's not dead! Don't talk like that!" Kurt yelled and Blaine apologized. "She didn't know Blaine, she didn't know. And it's not dead. It can't be. I can still feel it. It has to be there." Kurt cried.

"Kurt's pregnant?" Tina asked confused.

"God damn it, this fucking hurts. Am I going to die? Fuck if I die I want you to know I love you Blaine." Kurt cried.

"You're not going to die baby, and neither is our child." Blaine reassured Kurt, but not himself speeding up and running a red light.

"Will someone answer me!" Tina yelled and Kurt cried out in pain.

"Kurt's pregnant and you fucking attacked him Tina. Jesus Christ, he didn't come back to Lima to use me, he came to tell me I was going to be a father, he didn't cheat on me he was being a good friend. A friend who doesn't lie like apparently you do. And you didn't have to fucking attack him, he can't lose this baby." Blaine explained and Tina cried.

"I didn't know, I'm sorry!" Tina yelled.

"Well you shouldn't have done it! What is your problem?" Blaine yelled.

"I love you! That's my problem!" Tina yelled back.

"Well I don't love you!" Blaine replied.

"Everyone shut up!" Kurt yelled and they stopped. "I'm in pain, I have no fucking clue what's going on with my baby, and I'm scared. So if everyone could just calm the fuck down and work on getting to the hospital that would be much appreciated. Thank you." Kurt said as he cried.

"Kurt I'm sorry." Blaine said and Kurt shushed him as they spent the rest of the car ride in silence.

"Hi, it's an emergency, I'm pregnant ant and I think I might miscarry and it hurts and I need help." Kurt said running up to the front desk clutching his torso as Blaine and Tina followed behind him.

"Tina sit in the waiting room, Blaine go for a walk, calm down. Take my phone and calmly text my dad saying I will be spending the night with you. Everything will be alright." Kurt said kissing Blaine's cheek before he was rushed into the emergency room.

Scans were done and tests were taken, machines beeped and doctors talked and finally after an hour of waiting results were back.

"Okay Mr. Hummel, your baby is safe, but there are some complications." A doctor said going over his clipboard, Kurt mentally celebrating that his baby was alright, but panicking about the complications.

"What are the complications? Will my baby make it?" Kurt asked worried.

"The complications aren't with the baby, they're with you." The doctor said and Kurt sighed.

"Oh thank god, can I go let the father know the baby is okay?" Kurt asked.

"I'm not sure if you heard me or not, but I said the complications are with you." The doctor repeated.

"Yeah but will this affect the baby? Will I lose the baby?" Kurt asked.

"Mr. Hummel, please just listen. You're young, nineteen isn't the youngest of parents we see in here but still it can be dangerous. Even females your age have difficulty with delivery when it reaches that point, because they're bodies aren't fully developed. But for you, you're male and young and if you carry this baby to term I'm not sure that you'll make it. You seem to be under a great deal of stress that toppled with the hormones from pregnancy is highly unhealthy for you. You're heart rate is far too increased for someone carrying a child, you are literally the walking embodiment of anxiety. You're putting yourself at risk carrying this baby. And if I'm being completely honest with you I think you should abort it. You're just barely three months pregnant, I could do it for you right now. You don't have to give up your life Kurt. You can move past this." The doctor explained and Kurt cried.

"I don't care, I'm having this baby. I'll calm down, stop stressing, and relax. Hell I'll start meditating or some shit, I won't drink caffeine or eat anything unhealthy no matter how yummy it is. I'm keeping this baby. I've put my body through worse." Kurt cried and protectively cradled his stomach.

"Yes, I've um seen your charts. I see you have quite the record, self-inflicted injuries, an excessive list of eating disorders including anorexia and bulimia." The doctor explained.

"Yeah but that was all in the past, I don't do any of that anymore. I'm healthy, I was just under a lot of stress and I was in the closet and being bullied. We all have scars. I'm good now I promise. I don't see how someone having a depressing past makes them unfit to have a child." Kurt said slightly angered before remembering to calm down.

"That's not what I mean Kurt, I'm not saying you're an unfit parent. It's just that physically I don't think your body can handle it. In females, many of them stop menstruating when they battle eating disorders, they can't get pregnant. You're not a girl however and you did get pregnant, but I have no idea how this will affect you later on in your trimesters. It could be extremely dangerous for you Kurt. I'm just saying, you don't necessarily have to have this baby. And then you could go back to living your life." The doctor hinted and Kurt was appalled.

"Thank you for reassuring that my baby was still alive and doing well, but I will be keeping it. Thank you doctor." Kurt said softly as he stood up to walk out the door.

"I'm sorry Kurt. I just wanted you to know you're options." The doctor replied.

"It's fine." Kurt sighed.

"It's a boy by the way. Congratulations." The doctor added and Kurt smiled.

"Kurt oh my god are you okay!???" Blaine asked the second Kurt walked into the waiting room.

"I'm fine, and the baby is safe." Kurt smiled, deciding not to tell Blaine the dangers keeping this baby might do to his body. "We're having a son." Kurt smiled and Blaine cried tears of joy.

"A boy? Oh my god this is so exciting. I love you." Blaine smiled kissing Kurt happily.

"Yup, a beautiful, healthy, baby boy." Kurt smiled, linking his arm with Blaine's and walking towards the other side of the room where Tina was sitting.

"You ready to go Tina?" Kurt asked and she nodded.

"The baby is safe!" Blaine told her excitedly as he pulled the car out of park.

"That's good." She sighed. "So you're going to be a father?" She asked Blaine and he smiled excitedly telling her all about his baby boy on the way.

"Shit I actually forgot to text your dad that you were staying. I'm really sorry Kurt." Blaine apologized.

"That's okay, it's only 10, and I'm just going to go home now that we know everything is okay. I don't think I'm going to late anyone but Santana know about this little incident so I guess if we could keep it on the down low. But I will start telling more people I'm pregnant so they stop beating me up." Kurt laughed.

"Please don't tell Santana I hurt you." Tina said sadly.

"I tell her everything, Tina." Kurt sighed.

"I just don't want her to hurt me." Tina complained.

"She's not going to hurt you, I'm not even mad at you. I just wish you weren't so angry with me. What did I ever do to you?" Kurt asked and Tina cried.

"You stole Blaine from me. You left and I though he was all mine and you came back. Why couldn't you have just stayed away? And now the two of you are having a baby and it's just not fair." She whined and Blaine rolled his eyes.

"Tina, we never had a chance. This baby isn't stopping anything between us because there wasn't anything between us." Blaine said softly and she cried.

"Blaine I'm about to leave, so I'll text you when I get home. I love you, and we're going to talk about all this tomorrow. Not just what happened but everything. You can't keep thinking I'm going to hurt you or cheat on you. If anyone should be insecure in this relationship it's me. You've cheated before, you're sexy, and you could get anyone you want guy or girl. I'm awkward and unfortunate looking and pregnant, I wouldn't be able to catch a cold yet alone someone to leave you for. You have no worries and as long as I can trust you, then you should be able to trust me. I love you Blaine. Goodnight." Kurt said kissing Blaine's lips.

"Text me when you get home and I'll call you tomorrow." Blaine repeated and kissed Kurt again.

"Tina would you like a ride home?" Kurt asked and Tina scoffed.

"Can't Blaine take me?" She asked and Blaine shook his head no.

"Come on Tina, I'll take you." Kurt said and they both got into his dads truck.

"Tina, we used to be really good friends. What happened?" Kurt asked softly as Tina stared out the window.

"I fell in love with your man." Tina replied.

"He's not my man Tina, I don't own him. He's his own person. And we should never fight over a guy. It's cliché and both of us are too fabulous for that." Kurt said and Tina giggled.

"We really are." She smiled.

"I don't think you're really in love with Blaine." Kurt replied.

"Am too!" She said angered.

"Maybe as a friend, maybe you just love things about him. But your passion is misguided. I think you miss Mike. He was your first real boyfriend. He was your first time and he meant a lot to you. I think him going off to college scared you, as did me to Blaine. You felt needy and you placed all of your love in Blaine. Because he's adorable and sexy and a genuinely nice person who is a loyal friend. He treated you nicely and you latched on. But that love isn't real. It's friendship Tina. And I'm not saying this to get you to back off Blaine, I'm saying this because I'm your friend Tina. Remember when Mercedes had a crush on me and you and Rachel had a gay-tervention?" Kurt asked and Tina laughed.

"But you were really gay, Blaine's not that gay." Tina said and Kurt laughed.

"Your sexuality isn't defined by how you act Tina. Yeah I sound like a girl and like to dress nicely. That's not what makes me gay. What makes me gay is my attraction to other men. I can't help it that my voice never changed and that my ass looks mega good in skinny jeans but that's not what makes me gay. Now liking guys, that's gay. Blaine may not have the high pitch voice or the pride parade clothing or the need to sassily gossip, but he does like guys. Saying he doesn't look gay is stereotyping him just as much as saying I look gay stereotypes me. Does Santana look like a lesbian? Not in any way by societies standards, but she loves Brittany. Blaine may have the straight guy appearance in society's views, but in his heart he likes other men just as much as you and I do." Kurt explained and Tina frowned.

"I just thought I could change him." Tina sighed.

"Oh Tina, you can't change men. They're not dogs and don't learn tricks as easily as you might think they do. Trust me, I tried to change Finn sophomore year. I thought just maybe he could like me, and just maybe he could be less gross. Now he's my brother, and he's still just as gross no matter how many times I tell him to clean his room." Kurt said and Tina laughed.

"You're right Kurt, I'm sorry for lying to Blaine about you and Santana. I saw you comforting her and I knew you weren't cheating. I just thought I could get him to like me if he thought you didn't like him. And I'm sorry for almost murdering your baby." Tina said softly and Kurt sighed.

"Oh Tina, everything's okay. They baby's safe and Blaine's happy. I think we both win." Kurt smiled as he parked in her driveway. Giving her a hug goodbye and kissing her cheek. "I hope that didn't count as cheating." He teased and Tina smiled.

"Thank you Kurt. Thanks for everything." She smiled and got out of the car, Kurt turning off her street and onto his own.

Helping others was something Kurt could handle, it was helping himself that he always seemed to forget. Tomorrow he'd probably have to tell Blaine a little bit of what the doctor informed him of, just basic stuff like keep your stress levels down. But Kurt actually was a little nervous about what having this baby could mean for him. But as for right now he wasn't going to worry about it, worrying was what caused problems.

So he quietly opened the front door, waving to Finn and Sam who were playing video games in the living room.

"Sup dude, you wanna join us?" Finn asked and Kurt smiled.

"Sure bro, scoot over." He smiled seating himself in-between the two teens and joining their game.

"Dude were you at the hospital?" Sam asked and Kurt sighed.

"I forgot to take the bracelet off didn't I?" Kurt laughed and Finn nodded.

"I had some baby issues so Blaine took me to be safe." Kurt explained and Sam asked if he was okay. "Yeah I'm fine, and congrats you're going to have a nephew. It's a boy." Kurt smiled.

"No fucking way! That's so exciting!" Sam exclaimed.

"Oh my god a boy! Yay yay yay!" Finn cheered.

"What were the baby issues?" Finn asked.

"Well um don't tell dad because I don't want him to worry. But Tina like attacked me, and I thought I may lose the baby. But everyone's safe." Kurt replied.

"Well I'm glad you're good." Finn smiled kissing his brothers forehead not taking his eyes off the television screen.

"I'm glad you and the baby are safe." Sam added giving Kurt a quick hug while he waited for his character to recover from Finn's attack.

"Thanks, me too." Kurt smiled.

The game ended and Kurt went upstairs to find Santana wide awake going through all of Kurt's stuff.

"Rachel's asleep in Finn's room." She explained and Kurt sat on his bed watching her search.

"Anything I can help you find?" He asked.

"Nah I'm just being nosy. So how was Blaine?" She asked and Kurt laughed.

"Tina told him I was cheating on him, with you." Kurt laughed.

"Bitch please I could do so much better than you." Santana teased and Kurt smiled.

"Hey now." Kurt laughed. "So then she got mad and attacked me." Kurt frowned.

"Is the baby okay?" Santana asked putting down the stuff in Kurt's drawer she was looking through and coming over to check on Kurt.

"Yeah, I even went to the hospital. The baby's fine. And it's a boy." Kurt smiled.

"No way! That's so cool!" Santana cheered.

"But the doctor said there were some uh complications." Kurt frowned.

"Well what's wrong? If that bitch fucked up your child I'm going to fuck up her face." Santana threatened.

"No, no, the baby is fine." Kurt laughed at Santana's protectiveness. "But um the doctor said I may not be okay if I carry the baby to term. He said I have issues and carrying a baby might have effects on me. It's just that with stress and things he doesn't think it's safe. I'm having this baby Santana I just don't know what to do." Kurt said softly.

"You're just going to calm down, watch you're stress levels, relax, and wait. You can't do anything other than that. Blaine doesn't know about you're past, but you're not going to tell him. I will tell him because we can't have you cry or stress or freak out. I'm going to tell him how bad things got for you, and that it may cause some issues in your pregnancy. But you are not going to worry. Did you have dinner? Because you do need to worry about your health. Let me deal with all the other stresses. You take care of the baby." Santana smiled kissing his cheek.

"Thanks girl, I don't know what I'd do without you." Kurt smiled.

"I know." Santana teased and they hugged.
