Kurt agreed on letting Blaine go with him, and even let Blaine drive so he could cry.
“I just don’t understand what the problem is.” Kurt said sadly wiping at his tears.
“I know sweetie. But the thing is you do have a problem. You may not be able to see it right now, but you have one and we’re all just trying to help.” Blaine replied calmly.
“Thank you for helping.” Kurt said quietly.
“You’re welcome love.” Blaine responded taking one hand off the wheel to hold Kurt’s hand.
“Why are you helping me though?” Kurt asked.
“Because I love you Kurt. We all do. And we want to see you get better.” Blaine responded bring Kurt’s hand up to kiss his knuckles.
“I love you too.” Kurt responded.
“So where are we driving to?” Blaine asked.
“Somewhere only we know.” Kurt said in sing-song voice.
“You’re cute.” Blaine chuckled driving off the highway and onto a smaller road.
“Where are you going?” Kurt asked when he noticed the change in direction.
“So why don’t we go somewhere only we know? Somewhere only we know?” Blaine sang back in response.
They turned onto another street and before they knew it they were at the parking lot of the Lima Bean.
“Is this the place we used to love? Is this the place that I’ve been dreaming of?” Kurt sang as Blaine pulled into a parking lot.
“It sure is.” Blaine responded. “So tell me when you’re gonna let me in.” Blaine sang.
Kurt knew Blaine meant, when was he going to tell him everything. Kurt really wanted to ‘let Blaine in’ but he knew he wasn’t ready. Not yet.
Kurt just sadly shook his head and Blaine seemed to understand.
They got out of the car and walked into the Lima Bean.
“So do you want to grab our normal spot and I’ll get the coffee?” Blaine asked stepping into line.
“Can we just get the coffee to go? I’ve had a bad day.” Kurt said sadly.
“Okay love, no problem.” Blaine said moving forward in the line.
Blaine ordered their coffees and they got them and left.
Once back in the car Blaine couldn’t help but smile.
“What?” Kurt asked.
“Where is the moment we needed the most?” Blaine sang back.
“Oh god.” Kurt laughed.
“You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost. They tell me your blue skies fade to gray. They tell me your passion’s gone away. And I don’t need no carryin’ on!” Blaine sang.
Kurt couldn’t help but smile at how adorably sappy his boyfriend was.
“You stand in the line just to hit a new low. You’re faking a smile with the coffee to go.”Kurt laughed as Blaine sang and reached for his coffee cup.
“You tell me your life’s been way off line. You’re falling to pieces every time. And I don’t need no carryin’ on! ‘Cause you had a bad day! You’re takin’ one down. You sing a sad song just to turn it around. You say you don’t know. You tell me don’t lie. You work at a smile and you go for a ride. You had a bad day.” Blaine sang holding Kurt’s hand and smiling softly.
“Blaine you’re a dork. I love you so much!” Kurt cried.
“What can I say, I love a sappy moment set to music. I love you too babe.” Blaine replied leaning over and kissing Kurt.
They kissed for awhile. It turned from a comforting peck to now a heated passionate display of affection.
“Fags!” and old women yelled as she walked past their car.
“I kind of forgot we were still in the Lima Bean’s parking lot.” Blaine laughed kissing Kurt on the cheek and turning back to face the wheel.
“Yeah me too.” Kurt blushed as Blaine started the car and backed out of the spot.
“So where to now?” Blaine asked.
They still had an hour and a half to kill before they could go back home so he was hoping Kurt would want to stay out for a little bit.
“Do you want to just drive around for a little bit?” Kurt asked.
“Sure.” Blaine responded.
They drove around with no general direction for about an hour carrying on light hearted conversation before it began to rain.
“Let’s go back home, it looks like it’s going to storm.” Blaine said as thunder sounded and the rain came down harder.
“Okey dokey.” Kurt responded.
It was already 11:55 and Kurt’s house was about twenty minutes away plus with bad whether there may be some traffic so Blaine hoped Finn would be ready by the time they got there.
They parked in the driveway and Blaine rushed over to open the door for Kurt.
Both boys dried to cover their hair as they made their way to the door.
“Thank you for today Blaine.” Kurt said happily as they ran across the grass.
Kurt stopped and grabbed Blaine, “Thank you for everything really.” He smiled. “I love you Blaine.”
“I love you too baby.” Blaine responded as Kurt pulled him into kiss.
All things were forgotten as the stood in the pouring rain making out in front of Kurt’s house.
“Drop everything now. Meet me in the pouring rain. Kiss me on the side walk, take away the pain. ‘Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile.” Kurt sang breaking the kiss but not moving away from the embrace.
Blaine kissed Kurt again as the rain poured down.
They kissed for a while until Blaine remembered they should be inside.
“Come on, let’s go inside.” Blaine smiled breaking the kiss.
“Okay.” Kurt smiled back as Blaine grabbed his hand led him to the doorway.
The door was already unlocked so all he had to do was open it.
The door swung open and revealed a room full of people with sad faces.
“What is this?” Kurt asked.
Blaine stepped in front of him and stood on his tiptoes to kiss his forehead. “This is an intervention.” Blaine replied before joining the group congregated in the living room.
“An intervention?”
