Author's Notes: Warning talks of an eating disorder and acts of self harm.So I have two things to say about this chapter, one: mainly it is about Blaine confronting Kurt with his problems and two: I tried to demonstrate how most people in Kurt's condition don't see themselves as they truely are and more importantly they don't see that they have a problem. So with that said.Oh and OMG funny story so I was like hmm after that little snippet at the end of the last chapter I should check my bio to make sure some of my contact info was there incase someone wanted to talk, so I did so and I have no idea why but it said I was a male, I'm not. But why would I A) not see that or B) select that?

When they arrived back at the house they all said good night and went to their respective rooms, it had been a long day-week-month and they all needed some rest.

Blaine was currently sitting on Kurt’s bed waiting for him to come out of the bathroom from changing.

Why was Kurt changing in the bathroom?

They’d seen each other undressed plenty of times, what was he hiding?

Blaine shook it off as not really being comfortable with people after the whole Karofsky incident but he still worried.

He loved Kurt more than anything and he could tell something was wrong. He needed to help Kurt.

Kurt came out of the bathroom and sat down gingerly on the bed, next to Blaine, but with enough space that Blaine would have to reach out awkwardly to touch him.

Why was he being so distant?

Maybe he didn’t want to share a bed with Blaine because he was uncomfortable again because of the whole Karofsky situation, but then again that didn’t stop him in the hospital.

Kurt was acting strange and Blaine made it his mission to get to the bottom of things.

Blaine moved over and wrapped his arm around Kurt almost gasping at how bony and small he was. He was so thin it was almost scary, Blaine was so worried. How would he approach the conversation? Maybe he should be blunt? Maybe he should let Kurt tell him on his own will? He decided he’d do both.

“Babe, you’re so skinny.” He said running his fingers across his emaciated abdomen.

Kurt’s face lit up on instinct and he smiled to his eyes. “Really!?! You think so???” He asked hopefully.

Well that was weird.

“Yeah, you’re like super skinny.” Blaine said again a little confused. How could Kurt not know how much weight he had lost?

“You don’t have to lie to me Blaine, you’re not sparring my feelings. I know I can’t be as perfect as you.” Kurt said sadly.

What did he mean? Kurt was literally the definition of perfect.

“I would never lie to you Kurt. What’s wrong?” Blaine asked.

“It’s just. It’s just you, you’re so perfect and then there's me and I’m so flawed. I saw how you starred at me during dinner, the way you were examining all my imperfections, I saw the way you looked at me. You looked at me the way I look at myself. With disgust. I just love you Blaine and I don’t want you to leave me just because you realized how repulsive I am.” He said sadly.

Blaine couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Kurt Hummel was the most beautiful boy in all of Lima, Ohio and probably the world. How could he not know that? Something was seriously wrong.

“I wasn’t looking at you with disgust. I could never do that, you are beautiful. What you might have seen in my starring was concern. I’m so worried about you Kurt. You keep saying everything is fine but I can see through your little charade. I noticed how you didn’t eat. And don’t even try to tell me it’s the medicine. You haven’t been eating in a long time, I may have just noticed but that was because everything just clicked. Kurt you are really skinny, I’m worried about your health love. I need you to be okay. Do you understand?” Blaine said sadly.

“You don’t think I’m fat?” Kurt asked sadly.

“Kurt you really need some help. You’re starting to scare me. I think you may have an eating disorder.” Blaine said cautiously.

Kurt just looked confused.

Blaine grabbed the hem of Kurt’s shirt, “Can I see your torso? From what I can tell by the rest of you you seem to be all skin and bones. If I see that you’re rib cage sticks out as profoundly as your collar bone I think you’re going to need to get some help.” Blaine explained before pulling Kurt’s t shirt above his head.

“Blaine.” Kurt cried. “Please don’t.”

Blaine had not been expecting this. Kurt’s ribs jut out much farther than could possibly be healthy, but that’s not what startled him. He had cuts all over his abdomen. He had still been cutting. But he’d been doing a better job of hiding it.

“Oh Kurt.” Blaine sighed.

“I’m so sorry Blaine. I didn’t mean for you to find out. I’m so sorry I never meant to hurt you. Will you ever forgive me?” Kurt cried.

Blaine was stunned, Kurt wasn’t apologizing for inflicting pain on himself, he was apologizing for upsetting Blaine.

“Of course I will, there’s nothing to forgive. We’re okay. You’re going to be okay. Tomorrow morning I’m taking you to see someone who will be able to help you.” Blaine said holding Kurt tighter.

“What do you mean help me? What’s wrong Blaine?” Kurt asked confused.

Oh God, it was much worse than Blaine had imagined, Kurt didn’t even know he had a problem.

“What you’re doing is wrong Kurt, and you need help to stop. You have a serious problem-” Blaine began.

“I don’t have a problem.” Kurt cut him off.

“Cutting is your problem.” Blaine said kissing Kurt’s temple.

“It’s more of a solution.” Kurt retorted.

Oh God, how could things have gotten this out of hand?

He thought Kurt was on the road to recovery but in reailty he was spiraling out of control.

Blaine held Kurt tight and kissed his neck.

He traced his lips down Kurt’s arm, kissing over each and every scar. He did the same thing for the other arm and then his stomach.

“Blaine what are you doing?” Kurt asked.

“I’m kissing it all better.” Blaine said like a five year old.

It was sweet Kurt had to admit.

Before he knew it Blaine’s lips were off of his body and Blaine was running to the opposite side of the room.

Before Kurt could ask what he was doing Blaine had run back over with a sharpie in his hand.

“Please don’t tell me you’re going to do the cliché ‘write love on her arm’ thing?” Kurt questioned.

“Nope something better.” Blaine said removing the cap and grabbing Kurt’s hand in his.

He turned over Kurt’s arm so he had access to his wrist in his neatest penmanship he wrote the simple word COURAGE.

End Notes: TBC. I'll update again tomorrow, thanks for reading!!!
