June 2012:
Senior year went by in a breeze. Before they knew they were nearing graduation. In fact it was there last day of classes and they were commemorating their last glee rehearsal by talking about all the crazy shit that’s happened since they’ve been here.
“Remember when I told everyone I was straight?” Kurt laughed.
“Remember when I believed you and like you?” Mercedes smiled fondly.
“Remember when Finn and I threw you in dumpsters?” Puck laughed tousling Kurt’s hair.
“Remember when you got my girlfriend pregnant?” Finn laughed.
“Remember when you were stupid enough to think you were the father even though we never had sex?” Quinn laughed.
“Remember when Tina stuttered?” Artie smiled.
“Remember Matt?” Mr. Schue asked and everyone burst into laughter.
The rest of the afternoon was spent reminiscing about all the past relationships and drama of the inner workings of the glee club.
They were a family, a very dysfunctional family, but a family. It was going to be hard saying goodbye to them. But each one of them had bright plans of their own.
In fact today the down payment on Kurt and Blaine’s new apartment was due.
It was a start to a new beginning.
September 2012:
Kurt and Blaine were settled into their tiny apartment in the middle of New York and classes had started.
Although Kurt didn’t get into NYADA like Rachel he ended up going to NYU and studying psychology. He would never admit to it but he was happier there than he would have been at NYADA. Performing had been his passion but helping people over come what he went through was what he wanted to make his career into.
Blaine also went to NYU and he majored in law. It was more practical than what he dreamed of doing in high school, and he had to study harder, but he came to love law school. He was going for a minor in business and he was going to be very successful.
After classes Kurt and Blaine would return to their apartment and cuddle together by the window and watch the lights of the city that never sleeps.
They had made it to New York and were living out their dreams.
They may not have been the dreams they imagined way earlier in their lives but they were definitely happier with the lives they chose.
And more importantly they were together.
March 15th 2016
Kurt walked into the apartment after a stressful day. College was hard, but he knew he could handle it. At time it could make you feel overwhelmed though.
Times like today. He had endless work to do and Finals were rapidly approaching.
All the stress was starting to really get to him.
This is the first time he felt this stressed since high school, back when he was in the psychiatric ward.
He let his mind wander down memory lane, down his dark dark past, and was brought to tears.
It was all just too much to think about.
He hadn’t had many days like this, where it just really hit him how messed up he was. But when it did, it hit him like a freight train.
He thought to himself, maybe if I just cut once I’ll feel better. Blaine doesn’t even have to know. He made his decision and walked into his bedroom to go to the attached bathroom.
But there in his bedroom he saw Blaine spreading rose pedals all over the bed and floor and lighting candles.
Kurt laughed remembering how back in high school Blaine said he was no good at romance.
Blaine heard him laugh and turned around to greet him with a kiss. “Hey babe, happy five year anniversary.” Blaine smiled.
“I can’t believe it’s been five years! Each day I fall more in love with you.” Kurt smiled fondly kissing Blaine back.
He almost felt guilty for thinking about cutting, how could he do that to his perfect boyfriend. His boyfriend of five years.
Blaine poured some champagne for the two of them and finished lighting candles.
“Tonight is going to be perfect.” Blaine smiled.
“Every night I spend with you is perfect.” Kurt said lovingly.
“I love you.” Blaine kissed him.
“I love you too.” Kurt smiled. “Screw dinner, I was going to make you something fancy but I’ll do that tomorrow. Right now I just want you.” Kurt laughed.
“I was hoping you’d say that.” Blaine laughed.
They made sweet love to each other; it was an amazing how even something they did on practically a daily basis could make them both feel as wonderful as they did their very first time.
After both boys came down from their orgasms Blaine pulled out of Kurt and sat up pulling Kurt along with him.
Blaine moved Kurt to sit on the bottom edge of the bed and Blaine kneeled on the floor grabbing a black box from underneath the bed.
“Kurt. I love you. We’ve been together for five years now and those five years have been the best years of my life. Together we went through a lot, but we’ve always been there for each other. And I always want to be there for you. You are my everything Kurt. I love you more than anything in the world. Sometimes it hurts me how much I love you. You are the most perfect thing in the world and I never want to have to let you go. I want to spend the rest of my life with you Kurt. There is nothing I would rather do than always be with you. I love you so much. Will you please do me the honors of becoming my husband?” Blaine asked a teary-eyed Kurt holding out a simple gold band.
“Yes! Of course! Oh my fucking god! Of course! Yes! A million times yes!” Kurt cheered kissing Blaine over and over again.
“Yay.” Blaine smiled.
May 2018
Kurt and Blaine graduated college together.
Kurt had a job waiting for him as a therapist and grief counselor, and Blaine had be offered a job in an attorney’s office.
Their future was beginning to take shape and they were both so proud of each other.
But no matter how busy or how successful they got, they always made time for each other.
Their relationship would always come first.
And that is why after all these years they still fell more and more in love with each other every day.
June 2018
Kurt and Blaine exchanged vows in a quiet meadow. It was a simply ceremony and only family and close friends were there. But it was still perfect. Practically all of their friends from the New Directions and Warblers were there, along with the trio of friends Kurt made in the hospital.
The day was absolutely beautiful.
Kurt and Blaine lived out the rest of their lives together, spending every moment in each other’s arms and loving one another unconditionally.
In the end, Kurt was better, and Blaine and he were happily married.
Things worked out just the way they should and everything was perfect.
Although their story had a few bumps along the way they ended up living happily ever after, together forever.
They would never say goodbye.

*pouts a bit* =S Hey... hey... Holden never got nobody... do you think maaaybe I could do a little short story to add to your series where Kurt and Blaine set Holden up with Sebastian? Since Sebastian is totally in love with Blaine and can't have Blaine. =P Would take place in their last year at McKinley of course. Holden could still be in the ward and Blaine maybe still working there and Kurt volunteering and helping with the music therapy. =) So they drag Seby with them one day for the two to meet.
Also, if you want to write my idea for Holden instead go for it. =)
