Author's Notes: This is the last part of the glee club meeting.

“Thank you all so much!” Kurt said again. “And I’m not as prepared as you all were but I think I have a song for you.” Kurt said smiling.

“Go right ahead Kurt.” Mt. Schuester said gesturing to the front of the room as everyone else took their seats.

The music began and shortly after Kurt began to sing.

“Memories consume. Like opening the wound. I’m picking me apart again. You all assume I’m safe here in my room, unless I try to start again… I don’t want to be the one the battles always choose. ‘Cuase inside I realize that I’m the one confused.”

“I don’t know what’s worth fighting for or why I have to scream I don’t know why I instigate and say what I don’t mean. I don’t know how I got this way I know it’s not alright. So I’m breaking the habit, I’m breaking the habit tonight.”

“Clutching my cure, I tightly lock the door I try to catch my breath again. I hurt much more than any time before I had no options left again.”

I don’t want to be the one the battles always choose. ‘Cuase inside I realize that I’m the one confused. I don’t know what’s worth fighting for or why I have to scream I don’t know why I instigate and say what I don’t mean. I don’t know how I got this way I know it’s not alright. So I’m breaking the habit, I’m breaking the habit tonight.”

“I’ll paint it on the walls ‘cause I’m the one at fault. I’ll never fight again and this is how it ends. I don’t know what’s worth fighting for or why I have to scream but now I have some clarity to show you what I mean.”

“I don’t know how I got this way I’ll never be alright. So I’m breaking the habit, I’m breaking the habit tonight; I’m breaking the habit tonight.”

The song came to an end and Kurt looked emotionally wrecked he seemed out of breath and a tear slid down his face.

“This ends now, I’m done cutting. I want help, and I will get better.” He told them. Although he was mainly telling himself.

The group applauded and told him they were happy for him and would help in any way they good.

It was with these supportive people he could get better.

He knew he could,

He knew he needed to.

He would get better.

“There was one more song we were gonna do if you wanted to join us.” Finn says as he looked at Kurt who happily agreed.

The music began and Kurt quickly knew the song.

Finn picked up on the drums as Sam began to sing.

“Woke up in London yesterday. Found myself in the city near Piccadilly. Don’t really know how I got here I got some pictures on my phone.”

Rachel took over, “New names and numbers that I don’t know, addresses to places like Abbey Road. Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want.”

Everyone joined in, “We’re young enough to say, Oh this has gotta be the good life, this has gotta be the good life, this could really be a good life, good life. Say ph, go this feeling that you can’t fight like this city is on fire tonight; this could really be a good life. A good, good life.”

The song came to an end and everyone hugged each other in a big group hug.

A tear slide down Kurt’s cheek, this really could be a good life, he just needed to turn it around.

No longer would he go down that dark dark road.

Things were going to go good.

From here on out.

He would stay positive and things would be okay.

His new mantra would be something about a good, good life. And his outlook on life would be brightened.

He had friends and family who cared for him and loved him.

He’d get the help he needed and things would be perfectly fine.

Perfectly fine.

The group hug ended and so did glee club.

Everyone exited the room except for Blaine, Finn and Kurt.

“Finn, thank you so much. Not just for organizing today, but for being there. I love you dude. And Blaine, thank you for always being there for me. I will always love you.”

The boys hugged Kurt and made to leave.

“Alright, I have football practice now. But I’ll see you both back home.” Finn said cheerfully.

Today had gone good and Finn was really happy about that.

Finn departed and Blaine and Kurt headed out.

“So any run-ins with Karofsky today?” Blaine asked curiously.

“Nope, non what-so-ever. I think I’m safe, well for this weekend at least.” Kurt sighed.

“Good I’mma need you safe. I got romantic plans for this weekend and I need you to be around.” Blaine teased.

“Speaking of romantic, that song you wrote me was beautiful! I didn’t know you wrote songs?” Kurt said fascinated as they turned the corner in the hallway.

“Yup, I’m pretty much a rock star.” Blaine joked.

“It’s always been a major fantasy of mine to sleep with a rock star.” Kurt said with a wink.

“Ooooh role-play question mark. Only if you’ll be one of my groupies.” Blaine teased.

“I’m your only groupie.” Kurt retorted.

“Yup and always will be. My one and only. I’m going to love you forever Kurt.”

“Good you better.”

“I will, and we’ll get married and adopt beautiful Asian babies and we’ll live in New York and have weekly picnics in Central Park and our life will be amazing! Can we have a dog?!” Blaine said all at once nearly forgetting to breathe.

“Slow down there. And yes to all of those things!” Kurt said happily. He loved when they had little conversations like this and how sure Blaine was that he would marry Kurt. It gave him something to live for.

“Even the dog!?!”

“Even the dog.”

“You’re the best Kurt!”

“I know.” Kurt said as the crossed the parking lot and made their way to Blaine’s car.

“Oh hold up I left my bag in the choir room I’ll be right back.” Kurt said before running back across the parking lot.

Blaine didn’t think twice about letting Kurt go back in there alone.

Well he should have.

When Kurt re-entered the school there was someone waiting for him…

End Notes: Dun dun dun TBC. Story's almost over...*Kurt's song was: "Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park.*The group song was: "Good Life" by One Republic.
