Author's Notes: Warning, talks of some pretty grave stuff. Refers to previously attempted suicide, depression, and eating disorders.

Kurt nervously walked out of the auditorium and down to Ms. Pillsbury’s office. A few people hugged him as he went, others patting him on the back, and some just stared. Before he could even exit the room the gossip had already started.

“Well that was depressing.” Rachel stated.

“I didn’t know my boy was going through all that.” Puck said sadly.

“No one did, dude. It’s okay. He told us, we can totally get him help now.” Sam said lightly.

“Blaine? Did you know that he was this depressed?” Finn asked.

“No, I mean I had a clue, but I didn’t know things were this bad.” Blaine sighed.

“What are we going to do?” Finn asked him.

“Should we tell your parents?” Blaine asked as Finn shrugged.

“I think its best that you boys have a sit down with them.” Mr. Schue suggested.

“Yeah, yeah. Maybe we can have one of those interventions for him at dinner tomorrow night. You’re coming right?” Finn followed up his thought with a question.

“It’s you guy’s Friday night dinner thing, should I be there with you though if you guys do have a meeting?” Blaine asked.

“Yeah dude, you’re already like family.” Finn said stupidly.

“Oh, okay. So do you think we should tell Burt and Carole today and then see if they want to have this intervention or whatever tomorrow?” Blaine asked planning.

“Sure, when Kurt’s done with his meeting you and Mercedes take him out and then you’ll leave when they start to talk and then we’ll tell them and Mercedes will bring Kurt home and you can stay the night and we can keep him safe.” Finn suggested.

“Okay that sounds good.” Blaine replied.

“How could anyone’s life be that bad that they would try to kill themselves, that’s just stupid.” Quinn said coldly.

“Not only had his life gotten bad he has had a history with depression.” Finn said casually.

The all gawked at him “What?” they all asked.

“Yeah Burt told me and Carole at dinner once when Kurt didn’t come upstairs to eat that he worried about him and then he told us how after he watched his mother die he shut himself away from the world, locked himself up in his room, didn’t eat for weeks, and refused to get help. So finally Burt took him to see some psychologist and he diagnosed him with depression and gave him medicine but Kurt took them all at once and he almost killed himself. His organs began to shut down and everything and it was a miracle he lived. Burt said after that he seemed to be fine but he always worries when Kurt had these darker days because he feared he’d do something drastic.” Finn said as the glee club stared at him completely shocked.

“Our happy little Kurt tried to kill himself when he was what like 8 years old? And he suffers from depression and never told us?” Rachel asked confused.

“Yup, he even takes medicine for it daily.” Finn said in a slightly confused way. “Wait, none of you guys knew this?” He asked dumbfounded.

They all shook their heads no.

“I didn’t even know about this.” Blaine said sadly.

“Finn, are there anymore things about Kurt that you know that we don’t?” Mr. Schue asked seriously.

“Umm, I know my mom told me not to joke about weight for some reason.”Finn started.

“Because he was anorexic in 8th grade.” Mercedes supplied.

Everyone looked at her confused.

“Oh yeah, that’s right.” Finn agreed.

“Mercedes how do you know that?” Rachel asked.

“When we were cheerios and Sue wanted me to lose weight I stopped eating and Kurt told me I should eat and explained what he went through.”   Mercedes elaborated.

“There is so much I didn’t know about him. So much wrong, I wish I could just help him somehow.” Blaine said sadly.

“Kurt’s very bottled up. It’s not healthy what with a history like that.” Mr. Schue said sighing.

“He’s pretty fucked up.” Puck said harshly only to be elbowed by Mercedes.

“Finn, is there anything else you know or notice wrong with our Kurt?” Mercedes asked.

“Umm sometimes I think he’s limping because he walks funny sometimes.” Finn said stupidly.

The group began to laugh knowingly as Finn continued.

“Blaine, have you ever noticed that? He was doing it when you spent the night last week, in the morning he was walking funny and he like winced whenever he sat down. Do you think he’s hurt worse than we thought?” Finn asked an ever embarrassed Blaine.

“Um Finn, that is something completely unrelated.”   Blaine said his cheeks a bright shade of crimson.

“What do you mean?” Finn asked.

Puck attempted to high five Blaine but was turned down as Sam whispered something about gay sex into Finn’s ear and he began to laugh.

“Okay wow. I feel stupid. My apologies for making things increasingly awkward.”

They all just laughed.

“We should sing him a song.” Sam said excitedly.

“Okay that sounds good, you can be in it too Blaine.” Mr. Schuester remarked.

They all nodded their heads.

“Okay so plan… Kurt talks to Ms. Pillsbury, Blaine Kurt and Mercedes go out, they all come back to our house, Kurt and Mercedes go to his room to talk, Blaine and I tell my parents, tomorrow in glee club we sing him a song, and then tomorrow at home we have an intervention.” Finn said proudly, happy he had come up with all of this.

The others agreed and silence filled the air as they all began thinking about Kurt and how none of them had noticed or cared when he needed them all the most.

Kurt needed people to be there for him and they’d let him down.

Now that they knew about the details of Kurt’s past they worried more what the future held for him, this was after all, not the first time things took a turn for the worst.

Now all they could do was help him to see the light and turn his life around.

Surely he was loved, just no one had taken the extra effort to show him their support.

This was going to change, he needed them, and now they would be there for him.

End Notes: TBC.
