Finn’s house was really nice. I wasn’t like anything I had ever seen before. The interior design was absolutely beautiful, but it was so homey and comfortable. It wasn’t just like something’s that weren’t put away made it look like a family; it looked like it was designed for a family. It was so warm and friendly. I really liked it.

“You house is beautiful.” I told Finn.

“Oh, um thanks. Kurt decorated and everything. I’ll tell him you approve.” Finn laughed.

“Who’s Kurt? You guys always talk about him and stuff, I was just wondering.” I said awkwardly.

“Oh I guess I never told you. Kurt’s my stepbrother. Well even before that we’ve all been really good friends with him. He’s in glee club with us. He’s had a lot of shit to deal with in his life but he’s like the strongest person I know.” Finn smiled fondly.

“He sounds nice, well from what all you guys have said about him.” I smiled.

“Yeah, he’s really nice. People are just so mean to him you know?” Finn sighed.

“Why’s everyone so mean to him?” I asked.

“Because he’s gay.” Finn shrugged.

“And people here have a problem with being gay?” I asked nervously.

“Ha! We’re in Lima, Ohio. Yeah they have a problem with that.” Finn laughed. “It’s truly awful though. I mean the glee kids and all accept him, but everyone else is just awful to him. Karofsky especially, he even threatened to kill him. The crap Kurt has to deal with on a daily basis is just awful. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.” Finn sighed.

“Is-is it really that bad?” I asked.

“Yeah, it’s really awful. It’s not just the slurs or vandalizing his locker. It’s the daily beatings and throwing him in dumpsters. He can’t even walk down the hallway without being tripped or shoved into lockers. It’s really bad.” Finn said sadly.

“Oh God, that’s awful.” I practically cried.

“I mean the glee club tries to protect him. Like we’ll always have his back and all. But still.” Finn shrugged and went back to his game of Call of Duty.

The rest of the game we played in silence I was too lost in thought. If Kurt’s been there since freshmen year and he still has to deal with this, how would they treat me, the new kid?

I was shaken from my thoughts when Finn died and screamed at the screen. “I’ll be right back; do you want a snack or something?” He asked politely.

“Could you get me a glass of water?” I asked.

“Sure thing I’ll be right back.” And Finn stepped into the kitchen.

The front door opened and I turned around to see the very shirtless beautiful mystery boy that ran by my house every day.

“It’s fucking hot outside.” He said wiping the sweat of his forehead.

It wasn’t gross sweaty; it was more like he was glistening. He was even more beautiful up close. I watched a bead of sweat drip down his neck and over his profound collarbone. He’s arms and chest was surprisingly muscular for someone so skinny. He was really really skinny. His rib cage stuck out of his chest. His body was absolutely beautiful, my eyes rolled done his flat and toned stomach to where his hip bones stuck out and the V shape that lead further down.

Oh God, stop staring. I scolded myself as I felt myself get hard. I shifted awkwardly to hide my boner as I continued openly staring. I’m surprised I wasn’t drooling as my eyes roamed back up his body and met his piercing blue eyes. His eyes, I don’t even know what color they were. They were like entire oceans, orbs of blues and greens. They were so pure, so honest; it was like looking into his soul.

He must have noticed my staring because he immediately covered his torso with his arms.

“Um hi?” He laughed. Oh God, that laughs. It was the sweetest sound I’d ever heard.

I immediately stood up to great him. Probably not the smartest idea when I was trying to cover my hard-on but I don’t think he noticed. “Hello. I’m Blaine, Blaine Anderson.” I said extending my hand for him.

“Oh! You’re Finn’s friend from football” He smiled. Oh God that smile. “I’m Kurt, Kurt Hummel. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He smiled shaking my hand.

“Kurt don’t scare away my new friend!” Finn teased in the kitchen.

Kurt just smiled and laughed some more. “I’m going to go shower and stuff.” He said gesturing upstairs. “It was nice meeting you, Blaine.” He smiled.

The way he said my name, it was so dreamy. I couldn’t even respond.

“Um Blaine?” He said awkwardly. Ah he said my name again! “Yes?” I replied. “Can I have my hand back?” He laughed.

Oh God, I hadn’t even let go of his hand yet. I’m such an awkward person. I blushed feverously and took my hand away. He just laughed and walked upstairs. And I found myself starring at his ass.

Oh my God! Mystery boy was my neighbor! Finn’s step brother! Finn’s gay stepbrother!!!!!!!!! And he goes to McKinley! And he’s in glee! This year is going to be perfect!!!”

Finn snapped me out of my day dreaming when he asked if I wanted to play another round. I smiled and sat down next to him.

A few minutes later Kurt came back down in what had to be the tightest skinny jeans possible. They were practically painted on. And a simple gray t-shirt that accentuated his build and complimented his skin tone.  His hair was styled perfectly. He looked so put together. If I thought he was beautiful before while I saw him running he looked even better now.

“Hey Finn, can you pause it for a second?” He asked.

“Sure thing.” He said pausing the game.

“So tomorrow’s party. I called Mercedes and we invited everyone. Everyone can come. Puck’s getting drinks, right?” Kurt asked sitting down on the coffee table in front of us.

“Yeah, he’s got drinks covered. Mom and Dad will leave tonight after dinner. Blaine, here said he’d help set up. Then tomorrow Puck will come by earlier than everyone else with drinks. Then everyone will just show up whenever.” Finn responded.

“Then will everyone just crash here?” Kurt asked.

“Yeah, that’s the plan. Do you still have your fake id?” Finn asked.

“Yeah, what do you want me to pick up?” Kurt asked.

“Well Puck’s getting a keg. If I chip in will you get stuff for shots?” He asked.

“Sure, no problem. I’ll go pick some up after mom and dad are gone and then when I come back I’ll help you guys set up.” He smiled.

“Thanks. This is going to be fun.” Finn smiled.

“Sure is.” Kurt laughed. “I’m going to go start dinner, let me know if you need anything.” Kurt said standing and making his way to the kitchen.

I think Finn caught me staring at his ass as he walked out of the living room because he looked at me, looked back at Kurt, and smiled devilishly.

End Notes: TBC.
