“I changed my mind,” Kurt hisses, standing up from his spot behind a large bush in the front yard of the Anderson household. “Let's just go home, I mean I bet he isn't even home and this was a ridiculous idea to begin with-”
Rachel, who has been crouched down next to him with a pair of binoculars hanging around her neck, grabs his arm as he tries to make his great escape. “Nonsense, Kurt! I think we both already agreed that this will be a terrific learning experience that will benefit both of us in the long run, and furthermore-”
“How on earth is this beneficial to you in any way? You're not the one who's about to-”
“Oh my gosh he's coming,” Rachel interrupts, squealing and looking just over Kurt's shoulder.
Kurt's eyes grow wide and he looks around frantically, wondering if he should hide or make a run for it or do somethingto get out of this. Rachel, catching Kurt off-guard, grabs his hand and drags him to the front door, ignoring his furious protests. She rings the doorbell and bolts back to her hiding spot behind the bush, giggling like she just heard the most hilarious joke ever.
“Oh you are the worst kind of person,” Kurt whisper-yells, glaring at the girl, who just smiles innocently at him while she tinkers with her binoculars (which are, by the way, so not necessary).
Kurt is trying to decide if he's a fast enough runner to get out of sight of the house if he starts running right now, but it turns out that it doesn't matter anyway because the door opens, and there he is.
Blaine Anderson.
Blaine Anderson, who is in his lunch period and sits directly across the room from him.
Blaine Anderson, who he swears he sometimes catches looking at him from across the room.
Blaine Anderson, who is not only incredibly handsome, has a voice like a dream and a smile that melts, but is also gay or at least bisexual.
Blaine Anderson, who is notorious throughout McKinley high for one reason; his superb kissing lessons.
Blaine Anderson, who is leaning against the doorframe looking at him, raising his adorable eyebrows expectantly.
“Hi,” Kurt says finally. “Um. I'm here for my...lesson.” Kurt can feel the blush creeping its way onto his face. What was he on when he decided that this would be anywhere close to a good idea? Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid. He was going to kill Rachel later.
Blaine nods, opening the door wider and gesturing for the taller boy to follow him inside. He smiles, which makes Kurt feel slightly better. “I've been expecting you,” he says, and Kurt just nods, following him up a flight of stairs and into what he assumes is Blaine's bedroom. It sounds like they're about to have some important business meeting. Blaine shuts the door behind them, and Kurt can feel the nerves kicking in, oh god. He moves stiffly and stands awkwardly in the middle of the room while Blaine sets an alarm clock on his nightstand, and it starts counting down.
“Twenty minutes,” he lets Kurt know, smiling warmly at the other boy, who nods to the hardwood floors.
“Hey,” Blaine says softly, walking up behind Kurt. “Relax, it's okay. Come, sit.”
Kurt sits down next to Blaine on his bed, which is really big and really soft and really comfortable. His whole room is comfortable, actually, with posters and trophies everywhere. It also smells really nice, like the cologne Blaine uses, maybe.
“I'm yours for the next twenty minutes,” Blaine promises, melting Kurt's insides with that smile of his. “What do you want to work on?”
The question sounds so casual for something that so isn't.
“Um, well,” Kurt fidgets. “I haven't exactly done... much.” He hasn't doneanything, actually, but he's not about to let the shorter boy know that. He gives kissing lessons in his spare time, for god's sake; if that doesn't scream 'experienced,' nothing does.
But Blaine doesn't make fun of him or laugh at him or seem to judge him much at all, even though he's probably figured out that Kurt has zippo experience. Kurt figures it's because he hears this from a lot of people, but the thought doesn't exactly make him feel much better.
“Alright, so we'll just go over the basics,” Blaine says, meeting his eyes. "Give me your hands." Kurt does, and he places them at his hips. "Don't be afraid to roam." He reaches up to trace Kurt's jawline with his thumb, then leans in so that their lips are an less than an inch apart. “Follow my lead,” he whispers.
And then he kisses him.
Kurt's eyes shut softly. Warm. Warm everything. Warm hands, warm breath, warm mouth, warm heart thump-thump-thumping in his chest. Blaine tastes like warmth and strength and boy, and Kurt melts into it, trying his best to mimic Blaine's actions. This is easy. So easy. The kiss starts out simple and sweet and progressively gets deeper. Blaine nibbles at his bottom lip and Kurt returns the favor.
And oh, warm tongue when it sneaks into Kurt's mouth, warm and perfect and everything he ever imagined it to be, and even though this is his first time, he's somehow forgotten what being nervous feels like. Sure, he still moves hesitantly, and he's still not sure of himself, but he's not nervous. He's comfortable, doing this with this guy he barely knows. It helps that Blaine is confident, in every move he makes, in every touch and every whisper. He does this all the time, Kurt reminds himself.
Blaine pulls away a couple of times to whisper things like perfect and yeah, just like that.It makes Kurt shiver, just the tiniest bit.
At one point Blaine gently pushes Kurt down on his back, straddling his hips and giving him a coy little smile before dipping his head down to meet the other boy's lips again. Kurt's pretty sure that this is pushing the limit of 'the basics,' but, what the hell. It makes him feel special, knowing that Blaine might not do this with anyone. Then again, he very well might. They're experimenting, Blaine exploring Kurt's mouth with his tongue, sighing a little as Kurt does the same to him. Blaine's still straddling him, their bodies barely touching.
His lips were just beginning to brush the skin of Kurt's neck when the alarm clock goes off, startling both of them. Blaine climbs off of Kurt to shut it off, and everything goes from warmwarmwarm to coldcoldcold, Blaine's tie is hanging loose around his neck and his hair's sticking up from where Kurt rain his hands through it- had he done that? God, he hadn't even realized. Kurt hastily moves to sit up, fixing his hair and adjusting his sweater. His face is flushed and he can still taste Blaine, can feel his chest against his own, barely there- warm, boyish Blaine.
“Are you sure that was your first time?” Blaine jokes from his spot by the nightstand.
“Yeah,” Kurt nods, not sure whether this is a compliment or not.
“Didn't seem like it,” Blaine smirks. “Doesn't seem like you need much help at all, actually. The only tip I have for you is,” Blaine moves to sit behind the brunette, rubbing his shoulders sensually, “relax. You have nothing to worry about. In fact, you just might be my new favorite student," Blaine grins, and Kurt's heart flutters.
He must say that to everyone, he thinks.
Blaine stands up, and Kurt follows.
“Thanks. For everything,” the taller boy adds, reaching his hand out for Blaine to shake before realizing what he's doing.
“That's what I'm here for,” Blaine chuckles, and he shakes his hand like it's a totally normal thing to do. “Come on, I'll walk you out.”
Blaine walks Kurt to the front porch. Out of the corner of his eye he can see Rachel rushing to dive behind the bush again.
“Um... Blaine?” He turns to face him hesitantly. There's still something he needs help with, and if he doesn't ask now he won't ever.
“Kurt?” Blaine returns with a little sideways smile.
“I was jus- wait. How do you know my name?”
Blaine looks at him like it should be obvious. “We have lunch together, of course I know your name.”
Kurt blushes, again.
“Right, well, I was wondering if you would help me out with something a little... different than you're accustomed to.”
