Chapter 12: The Taste of Bleeding Desire

"Kurt..." Blaine warned in the standoff of all matches. With his posture straight and his back against the bedroom door, the vampire stood his ground as the head of the estate and the reigning of supremacist of all its occupants. "Put my shirt back in the suitcase and come here."

Supremacist or not, the commanding order neither sparked fear or action in his younger and weaker opponent. Like the fall of autumn leaves, so fell the vampire's warning. "No! It says here!" Kurt shouted from atop the mattress where Blaine's previously packed suitcase was laying on. To prove the aggression in his adolescent stance, Kurt harshly and exaggeratedly threw his master's silk green dress shirt on the marble floor and into the heap of other discarded shirts, pants and ties. "Everything stays right here." Sock by sock, the fifteen year old birthday-boy undid the pairs and then casted them to the side. "Everything stays right here with me." Similar to a child, Kurt puckered his chest and pointed to himself.

"Kurt, I'm going to count to three ..." Blaine's need to reclaim his pride and authority was cut short by another blood curling scream and frantic jumping on the bed. "Kurt you're fifteen. Stop behaving as if you were three. If you keep jumping on the bed you're going to fall off and hurt yourself."

"No-no-no-no!"

The loud and frantic scream calling from Blaine's private chamber neither kindled nor trigger alarm from anyone residing within the Anderson Estate. This wasn't the first time Kurt had a tantrum, but if plans went accordingly then it would be his last. Or so Blaine hoped this would be the last tantrum he would have to endure from his human. Future moments of rebellious rage would not end well for his human, and if Kurt was wise then he wouldn't test him any further. When it came to adults, Blaine was less hesitant to physical punish his challenger. If only Kurt knew how little authority he truly held in this situation.

"One!" The countdown began.

The declared warning immediately stilled the jumping on the bed and a resounding gulp followed. Kurt didn't need to understand the meaning of numbers or counting to recognize the words of warning. Based on past experiences, if he didn't stop what he was doing, then Blaine would say "two" and "three" and he would be struck in a tedious time out. But right now he was too busy to be forced to sit on the naught chair. He had to unpack the suitcase and prevent Blaine from leaving him. That's what suitcases mean after all. Kurt knew himself not to be a fool and he notices patterns. Suitcases are nothing more than greedy little boxes that try and take Blaine away from him. Whenever the housekeeping packs Blaine's clothes in one of these cases, then his vampire would disappear for a little while; and it didn't matter how hard or how long he searched - Kurt can never find his master. Why Blaine couldn't understand that he was trying to help was beyond Kurt's understanding.

"Do I need to keep counting?" With the immediate tantrum over the continuation of the countdown was no long necessary. "If you're done having a fit, then I want you to get off the bed and come to me."

"I'm not having a fit. Bad pets have fits. I'm a good pet. You said so yourself."

"I said that before you lost your temper." Blaine retorted to his cute pouting pet. Kurt was too precious when his cheeks were an angry red. "Get off the bed, come here and tell me why you're angry."

Kurt didn't move. It wasn't clear to the vampire whether or not his human was thinking or revolting. In either case, a grace period of a few seconds was generously granted before he would continue with his countdown. From the top of his mattress, Blaine proudly stared up at his human as if Kurt was standing on a pedestal versus a bed. The willowy figure stood with easy and natural grace that can't be taught; and the elemental light of fire cast the shadows of long eyelashes down the pale face. Yes, Blaine thought to himself, he did well in choosing his selected male and female to breed him his human.

He couldn't wait to taste the delectable blood pumping through the veins that teased him with each heartbeat. There was nothing stopping him from tasting his pet once and for all. There aren't any rules or ethical concerns stopping him from puncturing his aching fangs into the untouched flesh and taking a drink. The taste and feel of virgin blood wouldn't even remotely begin to compare against the foul deer blood he has been subjecting himself into drinking. The blood inside Kurt belongs to him in every possible way. Why should he deprive himself of the reward of his efforts? Just a sip and...

Blaine's drooling fantasy ended with the sound of fabric hitting the floor.

"I won't get down. I'm busy." Two pairs of undergarments fell onto the floor. "I'll come down later."

"Kurt," the mental image of a grand pedestal transformed back into a bed, and reminded Blaine that his pet was being very naughty. "One...two..."

"No-no-no-no!" The teenager resorted back to screaming and purposefully fell onto his knees. In this position Kurt frantically tipped the suitcase over. The few remaining items tumbled out of the suitcase and onto the ruffled bed covers. "I have to do this! I have to do this! Or you'll go away again! I'm helping you." So be it if he risked getting a time out. It took the maids hours to iron and pack the contents in this suitcase. Time out would surely over before they had the chance to finish repacking it.

There was something wrong in the changing environment and now was not a good time for Blaine to disappear again. Sebastian and Nick have been extra edgy lately. Whenever they were present they would glare and hiss at him with complete detest. Daniel and Jeff were also unsettling to be around. Against Blaine's warning, Daniel still makes his tummy flutter with forbidden thoughts. If Blaine leaves him, then who will help him from being tricked or strayed into a foreseeing trap? Then there is Jeff. The previously silent and observant blonde human has turned into a ticking time bomb of passive aggression that is perfectly paralleled with the sore limp in his walk. There was too much happening, and now was not a good time for Blaine to disappear. Why did Blaine have to leave from him in the first place? Has he been a bad pet?

"Don't make me say 'three.' I will and then you'll be stuck in time out. Or should I give you a big boy punishment?"

"But I'm helping you. See," Kurt whined from the bed. The heavy weight of worry laced his voice and his hands exaggeratedly motioned back and forth. "If I don't do this then you'll disappear and I won't be able to find you."

Pride, honor and relief were just a few of the emotions to comfort and curve around the vampire like loving arms. Kurt didn't want him to leave. Kurt was afraid that he would disappear and never be found again. Kurt would miss him. Oh, what a good little pet he has.

"I don't want to leave you, but do you remember why I have to go away sometimes?" Of all the answers Kurt could possibly have given, the correct answer of work and business never crossed his mind.

Kurt, in all his layers of stubborn-pride, did not confirm his remembrance. Yes, he understands why Blaine occasionally leaves him. His vampire, thanks to Blaine's good and loving heart, was trying to convenience people and toys to come back and play with him. Blaine said it best all those years ago.

"I know where all your toys hide. When I'm gone I trying to convince your toys to come back and play with you. Unlike them, I always come back and tuck you in bed and sing you bedtime lullabies. Does anyone else do that?"

"Everyone hates me. Why do I need them when I have you?" Blue eyes sparkled at the declaration which made one vampire very pleased.

Blaine uncrossed his arms and stepped away from the door. The heap of wrinkled clothes vanished from his peripheral vision and his focal point narrowed in on the teenager. His Kurt desired him over everyone else. The very boy he bred to meet his ideal of physical perfection wanted him above all others. Wasn't that what he was waiting and striving for - Kurt to love him absolutely and wholly? Maybe he should set a change in motion: dismiss Sebastian and Nick from his property, cancel the false 'escape plan' Daniel 'created,' and enjoy himself with his perfectly polished pet. It would be so easy to...no, not yet. Kurt is perfect now, but after his plan, Kurt would be complete.

"I won't be gone long and..."

"No-no-no!" Kurt harshly pushed the black suitcase off the bed and stood up again. "It's important that..." The weight on the bed was out of balance. Without the heavy suitcase centered in the middle of the mattress, Kurt's added weight jumping on the edge of the bed went uncompensated for. "Blaine!" With reflexes slower than the typical human, Kurt failed to grab onto the headboard for support and balance. If it wasn't for the teenager's fruitless grasps of thin air, then Kurt would have tumbled towards the floor and nightstand without resistance. But the floor never came.

Simultaneously with the sound of breaking glass, two cold firm arms wrapped around his waist and under his knees. For a moment the accident went without consequence and he was safe in his master's arms. The peaceful moment ended when the arms around him painfully tightened and he something sharp started stinging on his right palm. The feeling radiating off his hands didn't make sense to the teenager. It was the same pinching sensation he felt when Nick poked him with a needle, but he wasn't getting a vaccination. He shouldn't be hurting.

"Blaine?" Kurt lowly whispered. The volume of his voice didn't reach meaning in his ears. Something was wrong and he couldn't find the source. "Blaine...?"

Blaine did not speak. As if everything and nothing happened, the vampire stepped over the broken drinking glass that Kurt's waving arms previously knocked over. A broken glass wasn't a big enough concern to merit a second glance, what was a concern however, was the bleeding scratch on his pet's delicate skin. The glass wasn't broken when Kurt hit it, nor did Kurt fall onto its sharp remains. Was his human more fragile then he thought? How could nothing make his human bleed? It was almost as if Kurt's body wanted to be drunk upon.

"It's okay, I got you." Blaine confirmed with a kiss on Kurt's forehead and a lustful glance at bleeding hand. The cut wasn't severe or something alcohol and a simple bandage couldn't clean and contain. However, even the most effective of bandages wouldn't be able to cover the delightful smell polluting his senses. The grip around the human tighten when the vampire took in another deep breathe. The unadulterated smell of virgin blood in combination with his ownership and Kurt's dependence made the scent richer. In all his life Blaine has never smelt something that left his mind dizzy and his palms sweaty - never, until now.

The teenager analyzed his opened wound with curious wonder. "Is this my blood?" The pain was still bothersome, but the discomfort wasn't enough to take away his sense of awe. This was the first time he has ever seen this own blood. Sure he has watched Sebastian and Nick feed from their pets, but there is a big difference between seeing someone else's blood and seeing your own. "Why is my hand bleeding? I thought pets only bled in the neck when their masters were hungry. Am I broken?"

With rapid reflexes that only a vampire could compare, Blaine chose to ignore his pet's questions in favor of a comfortable position on the bed with Kurt between his legs. The teenager was barely given a moment to comprehend his situation before his back was pressed against the other's chest. Without warning two olive colored hands seized Kurt's bleeding hand and leverage the wound so his hazel eyes could analyze for signs of chipped glass.

"Oh aren't you a delicate little flower." Blaine teased and kissed the skin under Kurt's ear. The wound didn't show evidence of glass or anything worthy to cause concern. The fault of the injury was sure to be something of insignificant passing. Humans scratch and bruise themselves all the time without not always noticing the source of their injury. "You're very brave boy, Kurt." The teenager smiled at the praise and cherished the second kiss under his ear and next to his jaw. It seemed every time he and Blaine were together the vampire was beginning to be become more and more affectionate. "You're a very good pet who loves his master. Am I right?"

"Yes, I'm a good pet." To be a good pet was all Kurt ever wanted and needed to fulfill his life with joy and pride. Every story he was told centered around his universal goal to become a perfect pet - Blaine's pet. "And good pets help their masters."

"Yes, they do. Now Pet, you need to understand. I don't like leaving you, but there are a lot of people hiding in our estate who don't like you. It's important that I go to their secret hiding place and speak on your behalf." As strange as it may sound, Blaine's disturbed lie was easily accepted by its intended audience. Normally when Blaine left his estate he had work or business matters to attend to. This time, however, his outing was strictly related to Kurt and helping his pet get closer to completed perfection. All his planning for the past few months was about to some to light and action.

The ever brooding fire lazily glowed and casted odd-shaped shadows to the walls. Bright blue eyes casually watched the dancing shadows in between second glances at his bleeding hand. The clotting factors in his hand were quick to correct his minor injury and limit the loss a few drops of blood. Is that normal? Kurt licked his lips and reevaluated the scratch. Whenever Sebastian or Nick made their pets bleed, Daniel and Jeff would gush out blood, and their master's never allowed a single drop of the red liquid go to waste. Why didn't Blaine drink from him? Why didn't his body bleed like the other pets? Is there something wrong with him?

"We don't need anyone else." Kurt declared. "You take care of me, and I take care of you."

"Oh really?" Hazel eyes flickered to the color of desire and then stared down at his pet. Warm light from the mantle cast a rich honey glow onto his pale human with lustful generosity. A generosity so great that it enhanced all of Kurt's preexisting beauty. His cheek bones looked perfectly chiseled and rid of all signs of baby fat. The lips that used to pucker for a bottle were now fully developed and matured to do more than eat and cry. Below the smooth jaw was Kurt's long and slender neck that deserved all the love and care that Blaine could possibly give it. The vampire swallowed his own saliva before speaking again. "How could you take care of me?"

Kurt didn't need to wait a second before answering his question. "By doing what Daniel and Jeff do for their masters." The statement rolled out of Kurt's mouth like an ocean tide.

"What is that?" Blaine closed his eyes off of reality and kissed the same spot below the teenager's ear. The smell of flesh and blood was tempting with sight, but the closure of his vision only amplified what his senses and brain already knew - Kurt was no longer a child. Without conscience through or second consideration, Blaine rested both his hands on top of Kurt's flat abdomen. The vampire's hands and mind knew he shouldn't be this close to his pet, but even the strongest willed have their weakest moments. "How do good pets please their masters?"

Kurt silently clamped his hands together, hiding his body's failed attempt to generate blood that could feed and satisfy his master's hunger. Why didn't Blaine drink from him? Is he broken and no longer a worthy pet? The threat of tears were forcefully pushed back in favor of words. Words have anyways demonstrated to be the most effective way to communicate. Kurt can only hope that one day he and Blaine can fluently communicate with facial expression and hand gestures alone. Nick and Jeff move as if they are one body and mind. Kurt would be lying if he said he didn't envy them. Even Sebastian and Daniel seemed to have a special bond that he and Blaine lacked.

"Blood..." Kurt spoke as if the single word was enough to explain his entire thought process. "I give you blood and you drink it."

Hazel eyes didn't open them, but a thoughtless hum did vibrated against Kurt's ear. A fifteenth birthday or a sixteenth birthday, what difference does it make anyway? Blaine thought to himself. There aren't any rules or ethics stopping his hands from wonder further down Kurt's body; or better yet - flipping the teenager over and taking what rightfully belongs to him. It would be so more than a good fed and a fuck. It would be him claiming his property and branding Kurt's tempting column neck with his fangs. After the teenager first orgasm high calmed and the taste of his blood was in Kurt's veins, only then would the vampire release his true sex deprived body into the tight hole that was designed just for his cock.

"Blaine." One of the strong olive tone hands stopped rubbing circles on Kurt's abdomen and slowly slithered upwards, ultimately gliding over Kurt's sternum and passing across the pale skin clavicle. The subtle and caressing motion didn't end until the palm of the exploring hand cupped the left side of Kurt's neck. "Blaine?" Willfully and by the decision of his own making, the fair skin boy licked his lips and turned his head sideways to appreciate his vantage point towards Blaine. His master was handsomer than any other vampire he had seen. He lacked Sebastian's arrogant smirks and Nick's thirst for authority. His Blaine was safe, comforting and the way the dark haired man looks at him made his tummy feel funny - similar to the effect Daniel has on him. "Blaine what are you doing?"

Another sensual kiss made contact with Kurt's jaw. With the passing of each kiss, the vampire neared closer to his intended target on the beautiful never-been-kissed lips that were calling his name. Blaine's mind was gone and all his willpower and strength was nestled away in the luxurious smell of virginity. For now, nothing else existed. His plan involving Sebastian's pet was long lost and forgotten. He wasn't laying in a messy bedroom with his clothes littered across the floor; and the chastity belt locked around Kurt was someplace far away. In this rare and wonderful glimpse of his future, Blaine cherished his sampling taste and feel of Kurt's body and blood pressed against him. It was better than what he could ever have imaged. Not keeping score on how many kisses he was adoring upon his pet, the vampire's mouth continued its trail.

"Does this mean you're not going to disappear again?" Kurt's warm breath touched the other man's face and he kept his voice to a low whisper. The olive colored hand cupping his neck prevented him from looking away or rejecting the vampire's physical affections - not that he wasn't enjoying them.

Blaine didn't hear the question, nor did he acknowledge the hint of confusion in his pet's soft voice. His mind was vacant and all his attention was concentrating in his sex and the on back of his dry throat. Each cell in his body was aching and screaming for one thing - the very thing that just so happened to be sitting between his legs.

"Blaine?"

Lust dilated eyes attentively opened at the call of his name. Kurt was even more beautiful now than before Blaine closed his eyes. With a simple smile and no other suggestion of his intentions, Blaine lowed his hand from the pale neck and rested both of his palms on opposite sides of Kurt's defined pelvis. The cold olive toned hands didn't wait or hesitate before manipulating the teenager to turn around.

The teenager was too confused and dizzy with Blaine's special kisses to care that he went from his back resting against Blaine's chest, to both their chests touching with him was straddling the other. "Blaine, you said that good pets make their master's feel good. Am I making you feel good?" Kurt asked, truly ignorant and of the effect his chosen words were having on his master. He wanted to be a good pet. It was as simple as that.

"With words like that, you're going to kill me."

"Kill?"

The same hands that have been caressing Kurt for the duration of the vampire's weakness, grabbed both sides of the pale face. "That is a word that will never affect you." Blaine licked his lips and admired Kurt's intimate position over him. "Tell me Pet, how did the good pet please his master?"

"With blood."

"Is there anything else?" Blaine's pearly white fangs ached and throbbed with each breathe that left him more and more dizzy and hungry. He forgot how wonderful virgins smell.

Wide blue eyes did not answer the confusing question. Other than blood, what could his body offer? Or was Blaine referring to his blood? Was Blaine unhappy that his palm bled so little? If his body was broken and unable to generate blood, then what would Blaine do to him? Would the vampire toss him into the scary planet where all abandoned pets go?

"Someone is thinking too hard." Blaine laughed. His cold breath glazed Kurt's lips. "I've never taught you all the things good pets do. I didn't expect you to answer that question."

"What if I can't do all the jobs of a good pet? What if my body doesn't work?"

The question was far from what Blaine expected to hear. Kurt's body failing to meet his expectations was the least of his worries. "How could your body be broken? It's looks functional to me?" The vampire shifted beneath Kurt. If Kurt wasn't wearing his chastity belt, then he would have felt something peculiar between Blaine's legs.

"I...I didn't bleed." Kurt whispered the end of his short sentence, almost afraid to remind the vampire that his body couldn't generate blood. "I'm broken. Could we try again? I want to be a good pet who feeds his master."

"That's what you're worried about?" Blaine grabbed for Kurt's hand that had the red scratch on it. The superficial injury was already closed up and would surely be faded in a few days. "Did you think I was trying to feed from you?" Kurt nodded his head. "If I was trying to feed off you, then you'd have bleed more than this. And I would drank from here." Blue eyes closed when a cold set of lips kissed his throat.

"Do it."

The vibration of Kurt's throat in conjunction of his words, stilled the vampire. Of course he wanted to drink from his pet - he wanted to do a lot of things with the teenager. But for so long, these temptations have been futuristic fantasies that always felt unreachable. He said this before and he'll think it again. There are two components of claiming a human: sex and for the human to drink vampire's blood. For him to drink Kurt's blood wouldn't change his planning to claim Kurt in a year. It wouldn't hurt to sample a tiny portion of Kurt's blood. In addition, his strength could use the boost before the implementation of his plan went into effect.

After Kurt's tantrum, the teenager's body starting bleeding without reason - almost giving a universal sign that Kurt was old enough for his blood to be serve upon. Now, in addition to all that, Kurt was literally offering his blood. "You want this?" Blaine's cold tongue licked a sensitive spot on Kurt's throat.

"Please show me that I'm not broken. I want to be a good pet."

Based on past history. Kurt said the typical words needed to please his master, but today the statement didn't settle well and it helped push Blaine out of his dizzy and tempting state.

A shiver quivered down the teenager's spine when Blaine pulled away and the vampire's cold breath touched his wet skin. Unlike before, Blaine's voice was bitter and more controlled. "That sounds awfully selfish of you, Kurt. What kind of pet are you?" The teenager wasn't expecting this response. "Good pets become good because their merits are right and just. They don't obsess and worry about how to become a good pet. They look at their master and find ways to please him based on what they see. You're supposed to put my needs before your and trust me to take care of you." Kurt's wrinkled his eyes brows at the accusation Blaine was getting at. Blaine was angry, that much was clear. "Do you want me to feed from you because you know I'm hungry, or are you too worried about whether or not you're broken? I'm disappointed in you Kurt." The red in Blaine's eyes was replaced to a black and cold color. "You could have made me very happy. I would have left my mark on your skin and everyone who have saw you would have known who you belonged too." The aroma of virgin blood faded as the strength of Blaine's willpower restored itself. His Kurt was close to perfection, but he was far from completion. How had he allowed his weakness to test the limits this far?

"No Blaine," Kurt wrapped his arms around his master's neck. "I wasn't trying to be selfish. It was an accident. I want you to keep kissing me. Allow me to satisfy your hunger."

"I'm not going to feed from you until I believe every drop of blood in your body wants me for the right reason." Blaine remembered Kurt's previous fear that his body wouldn't be able to bleed properly. "You blood is still too toxic for me to drink. Good pet's blood flow out of them like milk. You're selfish body isn't ready to share blood like a good pet's body."

A scared look across the teenager's face and his lips formed an open circle. He was a bad and selfish pet who had nothing to offer his master. If he wasn't a good pet, then what was the meaning of his life? "Blaine..."

"I'm very disappointed in you. I'm not even sure if you're even worthy of a time out." Blaine lied. A third of his anger due was to Kurt. The other two-thirds of his irritation was at his own weakness. Kurt barely bleed and he became a different person. He had no control of himself.

"No..." Kurt cried with undignified shame and pressed his body closer to the vampire. "Please...I'll sit on the naughty chair. Don't be mad at me."

"I'm too disappointed in you to be mad." Blaine lied. His plan involving Sebastian's pet was back in motion. There weren't any tempting distractions in his way. If his plan were to work, then he needed to break Kurt down. "Go sit on the naughty chair while the maids pack up my things. If you were a better pet, then I wouldn't have to leave in the first place." Blaine regrettably lifted his human off of him - he loved the weight of Kurt on top of him.

"I'm really sorry. Please don't leave me. Please don't go away."

Blaine said nothing and stared down into the pool of blue eyes looking up at him. "Convenience me that you love me above all else. Once that happens then I'll never leave you again." Blaine's words bite the air. "Now, go sit in the time out chair."

...

"That was you're doing?" Blaine shoved the black haired witch with the sapphire diamond earrings against the stone wall in the dark hallway chamber. If it wasn't for the witch's high heel shoes and permeant stench, then the vampire wouldn't have realized he was being followed upon exiting the bedroom. "You used magic to make him bleed? That's why he stared bleeding for no reason."

Santana neither flinched nor batted an eye at the physical aggression. A vampire could never truly hurt her and she always liked things rough. Normally she was the one who inflicted the aggression, but a little change every now and then was exciting. "You still owe me a favor. Don't you remember?" Santana slapped Blaine's hands off of her and rechecked the stability of her red strapless mini-dress. It has been five years since the duo last saw each other and neither party looked any different or older.

Of course Blaine remember. Living in the debt of a witch was one of the lowest things has ever allowed happen to him. It was thanks to Santana's magic that Elizabeth was unable to kidnap Kurt fifteen years ago. "Do you know how close I was to drinking from him? I barely got out of there without claiming him. I'm not going to claim him until he is perfect."

"The brat's fine. Stop complaining." Santana dismissively rolled her eyes and pushed herself passed Blaine and walked into the vampire's private study. "You still owe me a favor and I've come to collect my debt. Are you ready to give me what I want?"

The vampire irritably followed the witch. "I've been trying to pay you off with diamonds and gems for years. What made you change your mind?"

"You're brat changed. I didn't. Like I said before, I want something of his." Santana sweetly smiled as if she was talking to a child. "All I need is one strand of his hair. Give me one strand and I'll be out of your hair - no pun intended."

The memory of his pet's chestnut colored hair crossed the vampire's mind. "Kurt belongs to me. Every cell in his body and every hair on his head is my property. Why do you want his hair?"

"Relax, I don't care about you or Kurt enough to cause any trouble. Give me a strand of his hair and your embarrassing debt to me will end." Santana licked her lips and crossed her ankles after the vampire refused to answer. "Witchcraft is pretty powerful. It helps me acquire certain tidbits of gossip that other's believe to be secret. I'm fully aware of your plans to help mold Kurt into your perfect pet. I also know that deep down you want my help. How about this, I help you with your mission and I clear the debt between us. In return you give me one strand of Kurt's hair." The witch straightened her posture and challenged. "Trust me. This won't come back to haunt you. What do you say?"
