The sun was long gone by the time Kurt, Blaine, Brittany, and Santana made it up to the rooftops of the fanciest hotel in LA. Santana clutched the cheap champagne they had bought early that day to her chest with one hand, the other hand clasped surely around her girlfriend's waist. Blaine carried four glasses.
"It's so nice out." he commented with a gentle smile.
"Look, I can see France from here!" Brittany said, pointing out to where the copy of the Eiffel Tower stood far off in the distance.
They settled down into their lawn chairs, gathered around a crate that doubled as a table. Kurt and Blaine sat close, their arms linked and their fingers intertwined. Kurt rest his head on Blaine's shoulder, closing his eyes and taking in the cool Los Angeles air. Brittany sat on Santana's lap, her arms linked around Santana's neck, fingers tangled in her thick black hair.
“Mmn, let’s drink.” Santana purred, reaching over Brittany to get to the unopened bottle of champagne which she had left on the table. She carefully poured four glasses, passing them over to Kurt, Blaine, and Brittany.
“A toast?”Blaine offered, holding up his drink questioningly.
“I’ll start." Kurt lifted his head off of Blaine's shoulder and shifting into a better sitting position. "Let's drink to LA. The views, the atmosphere, the experience..."
"To Saturday night champagne." Santana quipped, smirking.
"Shared with four great friends." Kurt piped in.
"To friendship. Because I love you guys, and we love each other. And the casinos." Brittany giggled.
"To love." Blaine said simply. "For being that one thing that we can hold onto for always, unconditionally."
Kurt grinned, snuggling closer into Blaine, and holding his glass higher for one final toast. "To us."
They all repeated, surely. "To us."
The four reached to clink their glasses together, grinning toothily. The couples locked lips in a surging kiss, a promise of love that won't falter. And then they drank, turning the toast to a reality.

Little did they know, the night would be the night of their lives.
