"Well, the sun had always been lonely, way up in the sky." Kurt begins, "Even as he was looked up to so much, he still felt underappreciated and wished for someone to talk to."

"Oh, excuse me. Umm...Hi, can I ask you a question? I'm-I'm new here."

"My name is Blaine."

"Kurt."

That's all it took for both of their world to change.

"And that's how they met." Kurt looked to the little girl lying beside him. "Still awake?"

"Yes." She yawned, "But, Daddy, what does under-a-ping-she-ate mean?"

"It means he wasn't loved, unlike you." Kurt whispered.

"Oh..." She trailed off at the end.

"I think that's enough for tonight." Kurt stood up and gave her a goodnight kiss.

" 'm not sleepy." She whined as Kurt put on the nightlight, still chuckling as he left the room.
