Kurt woke up the next morning, jumped in the shower, and then put his uniform on. Kurt wasn't sure he liked the uniform, but it would certainly make his life easier. Finding new variations of outfits for every day got a bit tedious, so wearing a uniform was a lot less effort.
Kurt picked up his satchel, and pulled his timetable out. Physics.
He walked out of his room, locked the door and headed down the corridor. Room 19. Where the hell was room 19? He started walking, and at the end of the corridor he found room 18. Okay, where the hell was Room 19 supposed
to be? Was there a secret door or something?
'This is ridiculous' Kurt mumbled.
'What's ridiculous?' A voice asked.
Kurt turned around, and saw Blaine standing next to him.
'Does Room 19 exist, or is this some sort of joke?' He asked, putting his timetable into his blazer pocket.
'Oh yeah, it's in the basement, down those stairs' Blaine pointed.
'There really should be a sign or something' Kurt commented.
'Physics?' Blaine asked.
'Yeah, with Mr Gray?'
'Me too, I'll show you the way.'

Blaine walked ahead. When they walked into the classroom, Kurt expected Blaine would join his friends, and Kurt would sit at the back on his own. He didn't really mind, he sat on his own in nearly all his classes at McKinley.Kurt threw his bag
on the row of tables at the back and sat down.
'Can I sit with you?' Blaine asked, adjusting his bag strap on his shoulder.
'Uh Yeah, if you want.'
Blaine pulled out the chair next to Kurt and sat down.
'So' Blaine asked, pulling out his textbooks and pencil case, 'How are you finding Dalton?'
'Wearing a uniform is weird. It's also pretty weird to wake up and just walk down the hall to your class.' Kurt replied.
'You get used to it. It took me a while' Blaine turned and noticing Kurt's questioning look, 'I transferred here at the start of last year.I was the new kid once too. If you need a tour or anything, just ask' He smiled.
Mr Gray walked him, introduced himself and told the students to turn to chapter 4.

True to his word, after classes ended that day Blaine gave Kurt a tour round the school. Pointing out where his classrooms were, and the senior commons.
'Oh and the shared bathrooms are down there, but you probably know that' Blaine said, pointing down a small corridor.
'I've got my own bathroom. Single room.' Kurt explained.
'Oooh, you're lucky. I share with Wes.' Blaine said, 'It's alright, but his snoring gets pretty annoying at around 2 in the morning'
Kurt laughed, and Blaine smiled.
'So, Kurt, are you going to audition for the Warblers?'
'Oh crap' Kurt pressed his fingers to his temple, 'I'd forgotten about it.'
'It's alright, do you have any songs you could do?' Blaine asked.
'I guess. I'm not prepared though'
'You'll be fine.'

And Kurt was, he sang Blackbird by The Beatles, and was accepted into the Warblers almost immediately after he finished.
'You've got an amazing voice' Wes said, as they walked out of senior commons after practice.
'Oh thanks.' Kurt smiled.
'We'll definietly be using it at sectionals' Thad commented, walking alongside them.
'Really?' Kurt asked.
'Definitely' Thad replied.

Kurt had nearly reached the door to his room, when he stopped to fish his keys out of the bottom of his bag.
'I told you you'd be fine' Blaine said, jogging up to stand next to Kurt.
'Oh god I was so nervous.' Kurt turned the key in the lock, 'It's different when you're auditioning for your peers'
Kurt turned in the door, 'So, what are you planning on doing this evening?' Blaine asked.
'Oh I lead a very exciting life,' he replied leaning against the door, 'I'll probably go on the internet, and if I'm feeling really daring I might even watch a movie.'
'Oh, sounds dangerous' Blaine smiled, 'If you want anyone to watch that movie with you, I'm in room 213. See you soon' Blaine turned on his heels and walked down the corridor.
Kurt stood there for a while, before realising he must look like a right idiot and shut the door.
He'd only been here for two days and he'd already been welcomed into the glee club and made friends. He had not expected this at all, and whilst it was lovely,
Kurt couldn't help but wonder what the hell was going on?
Kurt picked up his laptop and sat crossed legged on the bed. He logged into facebook, and saw he had several friend requests. Wes, Thad, David, Blaine
and some of the other guys at Dalton.
He immediatly accepted Blaine's request and started looking through his photos. No girlfriend, Kurt noted. Oh god, Blaine was attractive.
Not in the muscley, athelete way that Kurt was usually attracted to , but in the cute and adorable way. In all his photos, he was either laughing or smiling. Most of the
photos were taken at Dalton, with the other Warblers.
Kurt shut his laptop, and realised what he was doing. He had just made a friend here, a nice, most probably straight friend, and he wasn't going
to do this to himself.
'He's just a nice guy, Kurt. Stop it, now' He mumbled to himself.
Kurt sent a message to Mercedes, letting her know that yes he was okay, and that the guys at Dalton were really nice actually.
Kurt spent about half an hour cleaning his room of boxes, and organising his wardrobe. After doing everything he could think of doing,he sat on his bed and tried to decide if he should invite Blaine over. Kurt would admit to himself, that okay maybe he had a little crush
on Blaine, so maybe he should try and steer clear so as to not provoke another finn-esque fiasco.
But on the other hand, Blaine was being nice, and friendly and Kurt thought it would be stupid to ignore that.
So Kurt picked up his key, and walked down the hallway to 213, and knocked on the door.
Blaine opened the door, and Kurt noticed he too had changed; a white vest and sweats.
'Hey, so I was about to watch that movie..' Kurt said.
'Let me get my hoodie' Blaine smiled and walked back into his room. Blaine emerged wearing a worn Dalton hoodie.
'So what should we watch?' Blaine asked, as they started walking back down the hallway.
'I was thinking Peter Pan?' Kurt replied, turning to look at Blaine, 'it's my favourite film.'
'Are you kidding? I love Disney. My favourite is Beauty and the Beast though'
He is cute, and friendly and likes Disney. Great.
He's just being a nice guy, Kurt. Stop it. He reminded himself, as he pulled his key out of his pocket and let Blaine in.
