Chapter 4:

It took Blaine a moment to realize what he'd done.

"Oh my God...I'm so sorry," he choked out, eyeing the damage to Sebastian's shirt.

"It's fine, it'll wash out. C'mon, I'm taking you home," Sebastian gripped his arm and tried steering him toward his own car.

"I'm fine." Blaine protested, attempting to tug his arm from the Warbler's grip. "Seb, let go --"

"No way, not when you're like this. I'll just tell your grandparents that your car's here."

"Sebastian, I'm not kidding, let go!" he began tugging more insistantly. "Let go, damn it!"

Sebastian relinquished his hold, but he didn't move.

"I think I'm gonna be sick again," the curly haired boy whispered.

"Think you can keep it down til I get you home?" he rolled his eyes at the look Blaine gave him. "Blaine, you're in no way fit to drive right now. Just give me directions, I'll tell your grandparents that your car is still here and they can pick it up, okay?"

Blaine looked like he wanted to protest further, but then sighed and nodded.

"Alright. Let's go."

---

Colin was, to put it plainly, pretty pissed that his grandson had bolted from his therapy session.

But seeing him being supported up the driveway by Sebastian Smythe (the boy whom both Blaine and Kurt had informed him had thrown the rock salt slushie), whom he had a great dislike for -- even though Blaine had tried assuring him they'd moved past the incident -- whose shirt was covered with vomit, made him more worried.

"You drove him? Where's his car?" he asked as he relieved Sebastian of Blaine.

"At the park three blocks from McKinley." Sebastian answered. "He wanted to drive home, but I wouldn't let him."

"Well thanks." Colin sighed. "You should probably head out if you wanna get back to Dalton before --"

"My parents pulled me from Dalton," Why was he even telling the other man this? He'd intended to tell Blaine before the vommitting and revealing of his secret had taken place. He certainly wasn't going to tell the reason for his transfer...not to anyone but Blaine unless he had no other options. "We're in the process of moving from our house in Columbus to here in Lima. Mom plans to enroll me in McKinley this week."

Colin frowned.

"Huh. Well I guess Blaine'll see you around then."

Sebastian nodded.

"Mr. Anderson? Don't tell him yet -- I wanted to today, but things..." he sighed and his eyes lingered on Blaine for a moment.

"Sure, kid. Whatever."

"Bye, Mr. Anderson."

"Good-bye Sebastian."

The teen turned to head for his car as Colin got Blaine through the front door of the house.

---

Jenna sighed and lounged lazily on what she deemed to be a really, really shitty couch.

The phone rang, but before she could get up, the officer on duty who was watching her grabbed it.

"Hello?" he said. "Oh. Okay. 'Bye." he glanced over at Jenna. "That was your attorney. You show him some 'good behavior' too?"

"None of your buisness, Dylan." she answered.

"What even are you trying to accomplish?" he inquired. "Good behavior while medicated or not, it doesn't change the charges you're facing."

"Dylan?"

"What?"

Jenna sighed, twisting a strand of hair around her finger.

"What I discuss with my attorney, stays between me and my attorney."

Dylan snorted.

"Honey if you want me to keep tellin' them you're behavin' yourself you're gonna have to give me something to work with."

She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Well, maybe if you're good..."

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Jenna didn't move.

"You wanna get that?"

---

"What do you mean, he ran out?!"

Exactly what I said, Cooper. He got upset, and he ran out.

Cooper swore silently and slumped back in his chair on set.

"I'd ask why, but I know you'll spout that 'doctor-patient-confidentiality' bullshit." he ran a hand through his hair, irritated. "Is he okay, Lita?"

I called your grandfather, and he knows. He called about twenty minutes ago. Said he's home. I just figured you'd like to know.

"Yeah. 'Cause I'm totally gonna kill him the next time I'm in Ohio." Cooper growled as Travis, the director, called him over. "I've gotta go. Thanks for filling me in."

Not a problem. And Cooper?

"What?"

I don't think killing Blaine is gonna help him get through everything.

Cooper rolled his eyes and got to his feet.

"I know."

---

"His car was where Sebastian said it would be."

"Yeah."

"You still aren't convinced he's changed, have you?"

"Heather, he tried to physically assault our grandson's boyfriend, and Blaine took it instead and the result was surgery on his eye." Colin sighed and grabbed the remote, hitting the power button.

She gave him a dirty look at that.

"I was watching that!" Silence. "Col, do you really think if he was that same kid who lusted after Blaine, tried to get him to cheat on Kurt, who nearly blinded Blaine, that he would want to hang out with him?"

Colin sighed and passed the remote from hand to hand.

"I don't know, I just...I have a really bad feeling." he murmured.

Heather sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I think if he had bad intentions, we'd know." she grinned a little and grabbed the remote as it left one of his hands.

"Hey!"

"Don't complain -- you love me." she kissed his cheek as she turned the TV back on.

Colin smiled.

"That I do."

It's such a relief to know that Cooper and Grandpa Colin are watching out for Blaine even when Blaine is hurting himself and not realizing it. Sebastian is such an unexpected source of tenderness toward Blaine! I'd be interested to see what you can do with that. Especially now that Sebastian is going to their school!
