Author's Notes:

Poor Blaine!  I hope everyone enjoyed the first chapter!  This is very different from anything else Ive ever written.  I dont encourage bullying or Catfishing!

Blaine sighed, flopping down on his bed.  Being a junior was tough.  Being a junior that had a hard time fitting in was even more difficult.  He pulled his phone out of his pocket, clicking on the Instagram icon.  He searched for Kurt Hummel, eagerly clicking on his username and scrolling through his new pictures.

Blaine was fascinated with Kurt.  There was no other way to describe it.  It started off as an innocent enough crush and then turned into almost an obsession.  Sometimes Blaine felt as if he were Helga from the old show Hey Arnold.  After studying Kurt's new pictures for several moments, resisting the urge to screenshot them, he exited Instagram, hiding his phone under his pillow.

Kurt wasn't the nicest human being in the world.  Blaine wasn't sure why, but Kurt didn't like him very much and it hurt.  It hurt a lot.  This was the main reason he kept his crush and slight obsession with Kurt to himself.  No one would understand it.  Heck, he hardly understood it most of the time.

Blaine drifted out of his daydream about Kurt when his phone vibrated.  He glanced down at it curiously.  Blaine didn't receive texts from his friends very often.  Almost all of them were in a relationship and Blaine didn't enjoy being a third wheel.

Tina:  Hey Blainey!

Blaine:  Hey Tina.  How are you?

Tina:  It's Friday, so I'm awesome.  Wyd?

Blaine:  About to begin homework.  What are you doing?

Tina:  Blaine, it's Friday.  Give your homework a break for once.

Tina:  A few of us are going to see that new scary movie tonight if you want to come. You up for it?

Blaine:  I guess…  Who all is coming?

Tina:  Us.  Mike, Rachel, Finn, Mercedes, Sam, several Cheerios I think.

Blaine:  Okay, sounds good.  I'll meet you and Mike there, okay?

Tina:  Perf.  See you there at 6, Blaine!

Blaine bit his lip before clicking the Instagram icon again and going to Kurt's profile.  He looked at each of his pictures, studying the comments this time.  He couldn't help but wonder if Kurt was one of the Cheerios that would be coming to see the movie that night.

Santantan: Looking hawt!  You going with @brittacorn and I to the movies tonight?

Khummelxo:  @Santantan Duh… I was already invited by @Frankenteen though so we're sitting by him.

brittacorn:  @Santantan Santana you said I could sit with you, remember, you told me to bring my jacket in case I magically get a little wet while we enjoy the movie, maybe it's going to rain in there, that would be a cool special effect.

Khummelxo:  Omg.  TMI.

Blaine smiled, giggling softly as he exited the app again.  He stood up, walking to his closet and carefully selecting what he was going to wear.  He quickly picked a pair of tight skinny jeans, sliding them on.  Then he decided to go with a red and blue plaid shirt, picking one of his favorite bowties to go with it.  Lastly he slipped on a white cardigan, twirling around to study himself in the mirror.  He looked good.  He slipped off his glasses and cleaned them before slipping them back on.

When 5:30 rolled around Blaine headed downstairs, shouting a quick goodbye to his parents who seemed happy he was actually going out that night like a normal teenager.  He showed up at the movie theater around 5:45, quickly jumping out of his car and heading for the line to buy his ticket when he realized several of his friends were already in line.  He tapped Mercedes on the shoulder, smiling happily, feeling lucky that he ended up in line behind her.

“Hey boo.”  She grinned, smiling happily at Blaine.  “This movie sounds so terrifying.  Can I call dibs on sitting beside you?  I may need to hold your hand and Sam's.” She teased playfully as they took a step forward.  Blaine's opened his mouth to say something, closing it quickly.  His heart began to pound wildly in his chest as he heard several familiar voices walking over to get in line behind them.

“Finn, come on, the new animated Disney movie came out today and you promised we could go to that the night it came out.”  Rachel whined.

“Everyone else is seeing this one, Rachel.  We can see the one you want to see a different time.”  Finn replied.

“Hey you guys.”  Mercedes said, smiling at the trio.  Blaine turned around clearing his throat, trying to stay cool.  He was going to talk to Kurt and he was extremely nervous about it.  “Hey…”  He trailed off as he turned around, trying to smile brightly.  His heart began to ache when he noticed Kurt looking down at his phone, a smug smile on his face.

“Hey Mercedes, I love your top!  Hey Blaine, it's nice to see you here tonight.”  Rachel said politely, forgetting about the movie she wanted to see for at least a few moments.   Finn greeted the two of them, elbowing his stepbrother who waved at them, not looking up from his phone.

“Sorry, he's been like this the entire ride over.”  Finn said, glancing over at Kurt's phone before Kurt elbowed him, rolling his eyes.  “I don't read your texts to Rachel, stop reading my stuff.”  He said, giggling at whatever someone sent him before pocketing his phone.

Blaine bought his ticket when it was finally his turn.  He and Mercedes waited for the other three to purchase their own tickets before heading inside.  Blaine bought a drink, quickly buying a big tub of popcorn as well when Kurt suggested someone buy one so they could get free popcorn refills the rest of the night.  Blaine felt a flutter in his chest when Kurt reached over, taking a piece of popcorn as they walked in and all found a seat on the back row.

Blaine was currently sitting between Mercedes and Kurt and he felt as if his heart would beat out of his chest.  Kurt was currently helping himself to the popcorn.  He hadn't said a single mean thing to Blaine yet, and Blaine was having a hard time functioning.  He watched carefully as Kurt got out his phone again, going through his messages and giggling quietly at several of them.

“Grindr, Kurt?  That's gross.”  Santana said, she and Brittany settling down on his other side.  Blaine furrowed his eyebrows.  Grindr? That was the app that a lot of guys used when they wanted to hook up with other guys.  He was sure some of the users actually looked into having more than just a sexual relationship but still, the fact that Kurt had an account on the app made him feel unsettled.

“Whatever.”  Kurt replied, not putting his phone down.  Blaine bit his lip, unable to help himself any longer.  He glanced over, watching Kurt talk to other people in interest, eyes widening when he saw how many unread messages he had.  Kurt was even popular with strangers.  “Oh my god, nosy much?”  Kurt asked, moving his phone so Blaine couldn't see anything he was responding to.

“Oh, I… I'm s-sorry.”  Blaine replied, biting his bottom lip, heart slowly breaking.  His cheeks began to heat up and he cursed himself, looking down at his hands.

“You should be, that was an invasion of privacy.”  Kurt retorted, snatching the popcorn tub from Blaine and offering some to Santana and Brittany.  Blaine shifted down in his seat, taking a small sip of his drink, careful not to even look in Kurt's direction again.  The movie began to start several minutes later.  Blaine focused on it, closing his eyes through the scary parts.  He never saw his popcorn tub again, but he didn't mind.

After the movie everyone got up, filing out of the theater. Blaine's throat began to hurt when he watched Tina and Mike leave without even telling him hi or bye.  He said a quiet goodbye to Mercedes before beginning to walk to his car, careful not to look at Kurt, Santana or Brittany.

The moment Blaine got home he began to cry.  Junior year was so hard, everything hurt so much.  He desperately wanted to have friends, real friends.  The reality was that he had no one.  He kicked off his clothes, throwing on a pair of pajamas before crawling into bed.  He then picked up his phone and downloaded Grindr.

He quickly made his profile, putting his name as “Blake” instead of “Blaine”.  Then with a heavy heart he made his default picture a picture of his cousin's best friend.
