"Daddy!"
Kurt laughed as his son came running around the corner, "Hey Rory, how's it going?"
"Auntie Rachel's trying to get me to dance with her," The young boy screwed up his nose in distaste.
"What's wrong with that?" Kurt raised an eyebrow.
"I only dance with Papa," Rory remarked stubbornly, "He puts me on his feet and then we can spin around real fast. Auntie Rachel say's I'm too heavy for her."
Kurt grinned, picking his son up and giving him a tight hug before he kissed his head, "What about me?"
"You weren't here before...Why are your clothes all creased up?" Rory asked, his face screwing up slightly.
"Er, never mind about that," Kurt gulped feeling his cheeks heat up, "Let's go and show Auntie Rachel how well we can dance, okay?"
Rory nodded, smiling brightly, "Okay."
Kurt watched him run off to the kids bedroom with a soft smile before he kicked off his boots and coat, checking his phone to see a message from Blaine that had been sent around the time he'd left the office.
I miss you already beautiful, give the kids a hug and kiss and me. I can't wait to see you tonight. I love you so much XOXO- Blaine.
Kurt smiled softly, sending a reply before he followed after his eager son.
I miss you too, have a good day. Hope your work collages don't give you too much crap about your incredible fucking skills;) I love you too OXOXO- Kurt.
"There you are, I was wonder where...wow, what the hell happened to you?" Rachel asked as Kurt walked in with messy hair and crumbled clothes
Kurt blushed to the tips of his ears, painfully aware of his children watching, "We er...me and Blaine made-up."
"Made up? What do you-oh," realization crossed Rachel's face, "Oh my...Where to?"
"His office...," Kurt admitted, as Eva tugged on is trouser leg.
"His office! Kurt," Rachel hissed, "Are you crazy, what if you got caught?"
Kurt bent down to pick Eva up, cradling her softly in his arms, "Er...people may have heard."
"Kurt!" Rachel cried, "Well at least no one saw...right?"
"Well..."
"Oh my God!" Rachel exclaimed, "Kurt Hummel-Anderson, that is not what I looked after your children for!"
"We didn't just...you know," Kurt told her, "We talked too. We're gonna make it work."
Rachel rolled her eyes, "Obviously, you two just need your heads knocked together or something. Your life is pretty much perfect, look," She gestured to Rory who was playing with his dinosaur figures and to Eva who was still cuddling her Daddy.
Kurt smiled and bit his lip, "Yeah, yeah it is pretty much perfect," He agreed, burying his face in his daughters soft hair and inhaling deeply.
"I can't believe I missed hours of time that I could have spent practicing so you could get laid," Rachel shook her head.
"Laid? Laid what? Can Daddy lay eggs?" Rory suddenly pipped up, looking confused.
Rachel burst out in a fit of laughter so hard that she was bent over in her efforts to find oxygen.
"No, no honey er...adult talk, you'll understand one day," Kurt told him, hiding a smirk in his daughters hair.
Rory shrugged and went back to playing with his T-Rex, while Eva mumbled something about having a chicken for a daddy sleepily against Kurt's chest.
"Are you sleepy baby-girl?" He asked softly, stroking the top of her head.
"N-no," Eva said with a yawn, "Wanna...Wanna," She yawned again, "Wanna play."
Kurt sent a wink in Rachel's direction, seeing she had managed to recover from Rory's comment.
"Okay," he agreed, "How above we play sleeping lions?"
"What's that?" Eva asked curiously.
"Ooh, I love that game!" Rory exclaimed, his dinosaurs suddenly long forgotten on the floor, "Can I tell her please?"
"Sure, you wanna play too?" Kurt said, setting Eva lightly down on her feet.
"Yeah!" Rory grinned excitedly, "So me, you and Auntie Rachel are all gonna lie on the floor and be really, really, really, really still and then Daddy as to try and make us move and laugh, and if we move then we loose. It's fun Eva, can we play? Please?"
"Okay," Eva agreed, "Will you play Auntie Rachel? Please?"
Rachel raised an eyebrow, "I thought we were dancing?"
"We were but I wanna be a lion. They have pretty fur," Eva announced with another yawn, rubbing her eyes.
"Okay," Rachel agreed, throwing Kurt an unamused glance, "Although this dress is not something I should be lying around on the floor in."
Kurt rolled his eyes, "Lighten up Rach, geez. I actually miss the animal sweaters."
Rachel glared at him and pulled down her tight, red dress before sliding to the floor so she was on her knees.
"Can we lie where ever we want?" Eva asked.
"Of course, why don't you lie in your bed? Then you'll be really comfy and it'll be easier to stay still," Kurt suggested, picking Eva up when she nodded and spinning her around to elect a small, happy squeal from the girl before placing her lightly down on her bed, "Now get really comfy."
"That's a good idea Daddy," Rory approved, scrambling into his own bed.
Rachel sighed and lay on her back on the carpet, closing her eyes and laying still.
Kurt couldn't help but smirk a little bit as he walked over and poked Rory's side gently, watching his try to hold back a giggle, hiding his face in his comforter. Kurt ruffled his hair and kissed his cheek before tapping his butt lightly at which he let out a muffled snort. He stepped away from him and kissed Eva's nose, smiling as she screwed it up and clung tighter to the soft toy that had found it's way into her hands. After that he sat on the floor beside Rachel and watched unmistakably as both his children fell into sleep with light smiles on their faces.
Rachel sat up, seeming to finally grasp onto his plan as both grown-up watched the childern's breathing even out, "You're actually a genius. I'll have to remember that for when I have kids."
Kurt smirked and scrambled to his feet, "Well, I want some wine. Care to join me?"
Rachel stood up and followed him out, throwing herself down on the couch as he grabbed a bottle of cheap redwine and two glasses before he joined her.
"So, we hardly talk anymore," Kurt said, rubbing his eyes with a yawn and pouring them both a large glass, "How is everything?"
"Good," She nodded, "I have another audition next week, Jack sorted it out for me."
"Jack's still around then, even after you stepped on his heart with your studded stiletto heel?" Kurt mused, sipping his wine.
"I did no such thing," Rachel glared at him, "I just told him I only wanted to be friends."
"Yeah after you let him buy you everything your little heart desired for months," Kurt swung his legs up on the couch so his calf's were resting over his best-friends lap.
"I didn't...I'm not some kind of gold-digger," Rachel frowned, kicking off her heels.
"I know you're not Rach," Kurt told her, "He wouldn't have brought all those things for you anyway, he's head-over heels in love with you. But you and my idiot step-brother are going to end up together anyway so..."
"Don't make me feel guilty," Rachel gulped her wine back, fiddling with the edge of her dress.
"You have no reason to feel guilty, you just don't see him that way," Kurt shrugged, balancing his wine on his leg.
Rachel sighed and nodded, "Not right now. I don't need a boyfriend, I just need a supportive friend."
"And I'm not good enough for that?" Kurt asked with a teasing tone.
"Don't be stupid, you're always gonna be my best friend," Rachel shook her head, "You're just not in the...Broadway circle of life that much anymore."
Kurt gulped and looked down, "Yeah..."
"Hey, you can still slip your way back in if you wanted to," Rachel told him, "You're so talented Kurt, my only real composition remember?"
Kurt looked up and bit his lip, "I want to," He nodded, "But...I don't know, this is my life now. And it's amazing."
"But it's not your dream," Rachel said, running a hand over his knee softly.
"It was but....I've just done everything backwards, this was meant to be after I made my name on Broadway, not before," Kurt shook his head and sighed, drinking more of his wine.
"So?" Rachel shrugged, "You really think life goes to plan? Mine hasn't, not in the slightest. I'm only just getting back on track now to what I want."
"I guess," Kurt agreed, scratching the back of his neck with another sigh, "I don't know."
"Well...I've just got my foot in the door. I can help, Jack will help you...if you want to," Rachel offered, "The Broadway curtain isn't shut for you yet Kurt. Your name belongs in lights."
Kurt smiled, "I knew there was a reason you were my best friend," he said, swinging his legs of the couch so he could scoot across and curl into his friends side.
Rachel smirked and wrapped an arm around him, "Damn straight."
Kurt snorted, "You sound like 'Cedes," He said, sitting up again, "Have you heard much from her?"
"No, not really. We just kind of...lost touch," Rachel frowned, "I really didn't think that would happen to us."
"I know," Kurt agreed sadly, chewing his lip, "Maybe we could surprise her, go over to Hollywood or something?"
"I guess, but...with what money?" Rachel pointed out, "I can barley afford rent."
"I know, us too," Kurt sighed, raking a hands through his hair and drinking the last of his wine, "I need to get a job."
"Where to?"
"Anywhere, just something that would give us a little more cash so I could give Blaine and the kids a few treats every now and then," Kurt told her, "But there needs to be someone to look after the kids."
"I'll help where I can," Rachel offered.
"Thanks Rach," Kurt smiled at her, "You're the best."
"I know," Rachel smirked, finishing her wine and setting the glass down on the floor, "So, how was make-up sex?"
Kurt raised an eyebrow, "You really wanna know?"
"Yeah," Rachel nodded, "I've always been curious about your and Blaine's sex life, I can never decided who's more dominate."
"We change it around you know, we don't just do the same thing every time," Kurt told her, pouring more wine into his glass and doing the same for Rachel's.
"What did you do in the office?" Rachel asked.
Kurt grinned, "He fucked me in his computer chair and over his desk," he said drinking more red wine.
"Hot," Rachel smirked.
"Hm," Kurt hummed.
He got to his feet and put his wine of the coffee table before going over the fridge and searching around.
"What are you doing?" Rachel asked him.
"I'm going to go something special for when Blaine gets home," Kurt told her, "Run him a bubble bath we can share and make some food."
"Can you even both fit in that tub?" Rachel questioned, mind wandering back to their tiny bathroom.
"Yeah, with a bit of trial and error," Kurt chuckled before he sighed, "There is no food in this house, and there is no way I can afford take-out right now."
Rachel frowned at him before grabbing her bag and digging around in it, pulling out her purse, "How much?"
"What? No. No way Rach," Kurt shook his head.
"Oh come on, the amount of times I scraped take-out off of you, and slept on your couch," Rachel rolled her eyes, "I think paying for a pizza is the least I can do."
Kurt chewed his lip, "Fine. But I'm buying the next time we go for coffee."
"Deal," Rachel said, throwing some money on the coffee table, "Knock yourself out, get garlic bread too."
"Ew, no way. Garlic breath," Kurt shook his head and sat back down next to her, "I don't even know when he's coming back."
"His hours are so shitty, maybe their doing something against the law. You should check it out, you might be able to sue his company and have enough money for a damn pizza party," Rachel laughed.
Kurt laughed with her, "So, tell me about this audition."
oxoxoxoxo
Kurt was curled up on the sofa, drifting in and out sleep and watching some old horror movie on TV when Blaine arrived home at around eleven o'clock looking exhausted, but with a bright spark in his warm brown eyes that Kurt hadn't seen for a very long time. Blaine dropped his bag by the door, kicked off his shoes and walked further into the apartment smiling down at his boyfriend curled up in one of his old Dalton sweaters with a fading logo and a pizza stain on the front, and a pair of gray shorts.
"Baby?" He asked softly, shaking his husbands shoulder gently, "I'm home."
Kurt's eyes flickered open and he stretched with a sleepy smile, "Hey Sweetie, how was your day?"
"Good," Blaine ran a hand over Kurt's hair, "Better now I'm with you though."
Kurt blushed and smiled, "I'm so glad you're home," He sighed, "The kids are in bed fast asleep."
"Hm, perfect," Blaine approved, sitting down beside the paler boy and pulling him into his arms.
Kurt sighed, closing his eyes and resting his head against Blaine's chest with Blaine's arms wrapped around his shoulders.
"What did you do today?" Blaine asked, his hand trailing gently down Kurt's arm.
"Rachel came over," Kurt told him, "We just talked and...well, I think I'm going to try and get back into the Broadway scene."
"That's great," Blaine grinned, squeezing Kurt's shoulder.
"Really?" Kurt frowned, "What about money? The kids?"
Blaine shrugged, "We'll work it out, whatever it takes. Broadway needs you Mr Hummel-Anderson."
Kurt giggled and hid his face in Blaine's chest, "Thank-you."
"For what Sweetheart?" Blaine asked, kissing the top of Kurt's head.
"For being so supportive. You really are the best husband in the whole world," Kurt sighed.
Blaine smiled, "Don't be silly Sweetheart, of course I'm going to support you in everything you ever want to do."
Kurt hummed and kissed Blaine's chest, "Go and put something comfy on," he requested.
"Okay," Blaine agreed, capturing Kurt's lips in a soft kiss before he walked away to their bedroom with a happy skip in his step.
Kurt grabbed the phone and quickly ordered Blaine's favorite pizza before lit a few candles and dimmed the lights, just before Blaine walked out in a soft cotton shirt and a pair of navy sweatpants, his eyes lighting up at the scene before his eyes, "Kurt..."
"Pizza's on the way," The blue eyed man smiled, sitting back down on the couch, "Now come cuddle with me while we wait."
Blaine chuckled, "That's an offer it's impossible to say no to. But lie down so I can lie on top of you."
Kurt smiled and lay back on the couch with a cushion under his hand and his legs hanging over the other end and Blaine was quick to slid in the small space between the back of the couch and Kurt's body, entangling his legs with his husbands and resting his head on his chest.
"Mmm," Blaine sighed, "You always make me feel so much better."
Kurt smiled, "I haven't done anything," He chuckled.
"You have. You've done everything," Blaine disagreed, playing with the material of the hoodie, " I love you so much, I don't know what I'd do without you."
"I love you too," Kurt replied, stroking Blaine's curls and working out the last of the gel.
"What did your co-workers say?" Kurt asked curiously after a moment of comfortable silence.
"Not much," Blaine shrugged softly and kissed Kurt's clothed chest softly, "I just got lots of pats on the backs and highfives."
Kurt giggled, "I can't believe we did it."
"I can, God Kurt, it's all I thought about all day," Blaine admitted, his voice dropping an octave with arousal.
Kurt gulped, "Blaine..."
"Whenever I sat down in my chair or worked at my desk," Blaine groaned, "All I could think about was your body and my cock inside you."
"Blaine, shit," Kurt whimpered, his fist tightening in Blaine's curls.
"You're so hot Kurt, so beautiful, so gorgeous," Blaine whispered into his chest, "It should be illegal for you to wear clothes when you're in the same room as me."
Kurt giggled and blushed, until Blaine's thumb brushed purposely over his nipple through his husbands hoodie, causing him to let out a small gasp.
"Blaine, not now," He warned softly.
"But I can't stop thinking about it, Kurt," Blaine whined brokenly, rutting his hips forward.
Kurt's eyes widened at the feeling over his husbands semi-hard cock against his thigh, "Blaine, crap."
"You're. So. Hot," Blaine breathed out, punctuating each word with a roll of his hips.
"Blaine, I..."
knock knock
"That would be the pizza," Kurt said, pressing a kiss to Blaine's flustered cheek before he slipped of the sofa, feeling light headed and giddy. He hadn't felt this wanted by Blaine in such a long time.
"Hurry back," Blaine whined, sitting up and letting out a small, frustrated sigh.
Kurt bit his lip, opening the door to collect the pizza and tipping the man heavily just so he could see the happy gleam in his eye before he came back to his husband with a smile and the pizza box in his hand.
"It's your favorite," He chorused, straddling Blaine's lap and opening the box.
Blaine chuckled, holding onto Kurt's hips to steady him, "That's still no excuse to cockblock me."
"Who said I was going to put out anyway?" Kurt giggled, picking up a slice of pizza and holding it out to his husband who took a bite and licked his lips.
"Name one time you've said no," Blaine challenged as Kurt took a bite of the same pizza slice.
"Er...well...I...," Kurt mumbled, dabbing the corner of his mouth with his sleeve.
"Exactly...God, you can't even eat pizza without it turning into the most delicate thing in the world," Blaine chuckled, "I love you so much."
Kurt blushed and ducked his head, "Shut-up, just because I don't eat like a carnivorous animal."
Blaine chuckled cupped Kurt's face, "You're perfect Kurt. Everything about you is perfect."
Kurt snorted, "Stop trying to get into my pants again."
"I'm not, really I...Kurt even the way you blink is perfect," Blaine told him, pressing soft kiss to Kurt's eyelids.
"You're crazy," Kurt blushed, kissing Blaine's forehead before he slid off his lap and grabbing another slice of pizza that they could share between them.
oxoxoxoxox
Blaine smiled and patted his satisfied stomach as Kurt stood up to chuck away the pizza box.
"Now, stay here, I'll be right back," Kurt instructed with a small smile.
"Wh-? No," Blaine protested, "Stay with me, please?"
"I'll only be a minute," Kurt promised, feeling his heart swell in his chest at Blaine's words.
He slipped into he bathroom and turned on the water, making sure it was warm enough before he added scented bubbles and swirled them around with his hand.
"That was more then a minute," Blaine pouted when Kurt returned.
"M' sorry Sweetheart," Kurt holding out his hands, "Let me make it up to you."
"How?" Blaine questioned, taking the offered hands and standing up.
"How does me naked, a bath, and lots of bubbles sound?" Kurt grinned with a gleam in his eye.
Blaine blinked a few times, "Sorry what? You lost me after 'naked'."
Kurt snorted, "Come take a bubble bath with me Sweetie."
Blaine giggled, "You don't have to tell me twice."
Kurt grinned and stepped away, stripping his hoodie off as he left back towards the bathroom and inhaled the scent of lavender and vanilla.
"Ohh, it smells amazing," Blaine approved, pulling off his shirt and sweatpants in a flurry and dropping them to the floor, leaving him completely naked.
Kurt gulped and turned away to remove his shorts as Blaine walked towards the bath and dipped his fingers in the water, "Ohh, this is going to be good," he grinned.
Kurt hummed and nodded, taking off his final item of clothing.
"God, look at you," Blaine sighed as Kurt walked towards him, a little self consciously with his arms around his waist.
Kurt bit his lip and smiled softly.
"So gorgeous," Blaine complemented, "Come here."
Kurt blushed and let himself melt into Blaine's arms in a tight embrace in which Blaine peppered his shoulder with soft kisses.
Kurt pulled away and took Blaine's hand, "How do you wanna do this?"
Blaine smiled gently, "Let me slid in and we can work from there."
Kurt nodded, letting Blaine's hand leave his and watching as Blaine let out a low moan, sliding down into calming water.
"Come here," Blaine said, opening his legs as far as they would go in the tub so Kurt could sit between them.
After a few awkward moments, of wet, bubbly skin sliding against each other they managed to find a comfortable position of Kurt between Blaine's legs with his feet rested on the other side of the tub and Blaine's hands on his hips.
Kurt sighed, "God, I needed this," He realized, letting his eyes fall closed and his back press against Blaine's chest.
"Me too," Blaine gave his own sigh, his hand sliding from Kurt's hips, down his legs, and back up a few times, "I love you Kurt Hummel-Anderson."
"I love you Blaine Hummel-Anderson," Kurt smiled, biting his lip as he grinned widely, "I love you so much."
"I love you more then there fish in the sea or stars in the sky," Blaine whispered against Kurt's neck, "Nothing's ever going to tear me away from you. Especially not some crappy little office job."
Kurt blinked back tears, "Never," He whispered back.
"I've been thinking," Blaine mumbled softly, pressing kisses across Kurt's shoulders, "Will you marry me?"
"What?" Kurt raised an eyebrow, immediately playing with the wedding band around Blaine's finger.
Blaine smiled at the gesture, "I mean re-marry me. Renew our vows to each other."
Kurt bit his lip, "That's so romantic."
"Is that a yes?" Blaine asked, his hands sliding to Kurt's abdomen.
Kurt shivered and nodded, "Yes. Of course, always yes," He mumbled softly, leaning back against Blaine.
Blaine's lips turned up in a huge smile against the back of Kurt's neck, "Thank-you so much."
"For what?" Kurt asked, placing his hands over Blaine's.
"Everything," Blaine replied simply, smoothing gently against Kurt's skin.
"Hmm," Kurt moaned softly, pressing against Blaine more firmly.
Blaine laughed softly, "We need to take bath's together more often."
"Agreed," Kurt smiled.
"Bubble baths in particular."
"Hm, why's that?" Kurt asked, snuggling down in the water and closing his eyes.
"....Bubble fight!" Blaine exclaimed, picking up a handful of the soapy suds and shoving them in Kurt's face.
"Wha-? Blaine!" Kurt cried, turning around in his arms violently and causing water to splash out either side of the tub, "I can't believe you just-"
"Shh, you'll wake the kids," Blaine bit his lip.
"Oh B, it is so on," Kurt grinned, picking up some of the bubbles and creating a bubble beard along Blaine's chin.
"Hm, what do you think? Should I grow a beard?" Blaine grinned, his eyes sparkling with the excitement of a young child.
Kurt shook his head, "No way, the sexy stubble I can handle. A beard is just strange."
Blaine raised an eyebrow, "Sexy stubble huh? I'll remember that."
Kurt blushed and looked down for a second, but soon looked up again with a squeal as Blaine dumped a handful of vanilla scented bubbles in his hair.
After that both boys lost track of what was happening. Water splashed over the sides of the tub and bubbles were thrown and flicked, bodies slipped and rubbed against each other and the tub as they wrestled in the water. The room was filled with cries and laughter, unsuccessfully muffled by hands that were wrinkled like prunes.
"Okay, okay," Blaine finally giggled, pulling Kurt down roughly on top of him, "You win."
Kurt grinned and wiped the bubbles softly away from his husbands face, "Good."
Blaine yawned, "Is it okay if we sleep now?"
"Only if we cuddle."
Blaine laughed and held Kurt close, "Duh! How am I mean to fall asleep without my snuggle-bear?"
"How indeed."
