So I made this into a filler chapter where they are having fun, sort of.Read and Review, and I'll see you again soon.P.S. This story is not discontinued or abandoned or any of those things. I'm just plain stupid is all.
~ Chapter 20 ~
The Talk

Kurt looked around his new, temporary room with barely contained nerves. Blaine stood a few steps beside him, observing his boyfriend with a smile. He was glad to see that Kurt seemed somewhat relaxed, for now. The incidents of this night, and Lily's sudden appearance have shaken Kurt a lot more than Blaine knew he was letting on. Despite all this, he was proud of his boyfriend's stamina.

"What do you think?" Blaine finally asked, unable to control himself at Kurt's nervous survey of the room.

Kurt looked right at him with barely focused eyes. Blaine frowned. Was Kurt still feeling drugged?

In answer to his unasked query, Kurt smiled with a shrug. "No, I'm just tired. Dejected. And worried..."

Blaine sighed heavily. Of course, he was.

At Lily's sudden declaration to be killed, Burt had taken matters into his own hand. Promptly telling everyone to go back to their rooms, Burt had dragged Lily by the arm to the secluded study, Andy tagging along to make sure Burt didn't get into a fight.

Kurt had tried to follow his Dad and Lily, but Blaine had forced him to come with him instead. And just as he suspected, Kurt still was distracted about what might be going on with Burt and Lily.

"She is going to be fine," Blaine told him firmly.

"It's not Lily I'm worried about," Kurt mumbled. "I don't want Dad to hurt her in anger, that's all."

Blaine sighed again, feeling uncertain as to how better help his boyfriend in such a condition. He watched as Kurt finally sank down on the bed, bouncing a little to test the mattress. Stomping his feet a lot heavier than proper, Blaine also flumped down next to Kurt, falling back and closing his eyes.

Slowly, Kurt sank beside him too.

Blaine had his eyes closed, deep in thought, but he knew Kurt was now observing him; sure enough, a hesitant finger stroked Blaine's nose, its shape, then slowly his upper lip.

Feeling triumphant for some mad reason, Blaine captured the finger in his mouth, opening his eyes and smirking at Kurt's shocked red face.

Mortified, Kurt drew back his finger. "Don't—Dad said no funny business."

Blaine moved to turn on his flanks, propping his head on his hand and elbows, now a lot closer to Kurt as they stared into each other's eyes.

"Well," Blaine murmured, "Burt is rather busy right now, isn't he?"

Kurt fought against a smile. "Don't, Blaine. Lily could be in trouble..."

Blaine was defiantly feeling proud now, of himself. Shifting closer still, he nudge Kurt's nose against his own. "You are in trouble too, right now."

"I am? What is it, a threat?" Kurt's voice was barely audible, and extremely husky.

Blaine nodded seriously. "Yes, if you don't kiss me in the next second, you'll be in a world of trouble, Kurt Hummel."

Kurt deliberately moved away. "I take it as a challenge, Blaine Anderson. Might I remind you, I'm really powerful these days. You shouldn't be messing with me."

"Might I remind you, I've dealt with monsters worst than your dreams all my life practically," Blaine followed Kurt cleverly, still close enough to breathe each other's air. "I think I could best you easily enough, right?"

Then they were no longer kidding. Both closed the distance of a few inches between them, capturing each other's lips in a kiss none too shy, or modest. It was all smacking, squelching, needy dirty kissing.

Somehow, Blaine ended up with his back pressed into the mattress, Kurt straddling him and glaring at him with barely concealed lust.

"You can still surrender," Kurt said.

Blaine had to gasp aloud. Kurt's voice was—too, too good. There was almost a lilting quality to it, as he taunted the Warbler with those needy, hungry eyes.

"Never surrender," Blaine managed to say. "Dad t-taught me to never surrender."

Kurt tilted his head to a side, grinning widely. "Too bad. You will regret it."

"Make me," Blaine challenged, and almost moaned in pleasure as Kurt crashed their lips together again.

He, actually, truly, liked this dominant side of Kurt. This was so up to mark and different from their past encounters. Which Blaine didn't count anyway, since they weren't officially together back then. Now, though, their obvious need for each other, and Kurt's newly, power-rigged body, was turning Blaine on on such an extreme level, he no longer cared even if Burt caught them.

They let their tongues wrestle and nipped each other's lips, eliciting delicious responses and almost chuckling whenever somebody won the best response. Then Blaine felt the need to be in control.

Yeah, he liked Kurt getting all sexy and hot, but that didn't mean he didn't want to hear Kurt moan too.

Grabbing Kurt's waist, he turned tables, smirking when Kurt growled at loosing contact with Blaine's lips. "So, seems we both aren't letting go, are we?"

Kurt glared at him, his lips pouted petulantly. "Cheating. This is cheating. You can't idle around while we are supposed to—f-fight."

"I'm not idling," Blaine replied, curiously smiling at his boyfriend.

"Yes you are. This talking is idling. Come here, now..."

Blaine laughter was eaten up by Kurt's hungry mouth again, as the Warbler let himself be kissed even if he was on top right now. There was something so precious in teasing Kurt like this.

He was almost glad that he had given Kurt the room which was further away from Burt's new room. They could totally do this frequently. Heck, all the time, if Blaine had any say in this.

Their passionate kissing slowed down to leisure smooches, and tongue caresses, both of them just drinking in the proximity.

Although, Blaine was fully aware of their mutual need, he also found these sweet, yet teasing, kisses enjoyable. He didn't want to rush Kurt into anything, not yet. Not when Kurt had so much to deal with already.

Then slowly, Kurt leaned back, releasing Blaine's lips at last. There was a content, truly happy smile on Kurt's face now. Blaine leaned in for a last peck, but at that moment, Kurt yawned widely, almost swallowing Blaine's lips and nose.

Blaine jerked back, laughing madly. This was so unexpected and cute.

Then he saw Kurt's tensed, scared face.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Blaine asked, suddenly concerned at the way Kurt was staring at him,

"Get off," Kurt said sharply, his breath coming in shorts bursts. Almost as if he was holding his breaths. "NOW Blaine, please."

In the next instant, Blaine realized why Kurt was scare. He now felt a stinging pain on his nose, and inquiringly stroked a thumb on it. When he saw his thumb, he froze, still on top of a scared Kurt.

Somehow, while their slow kissing and the yawn, Blaine's nose has grazed Kurt's sharp teeth and now...now it was all going badly.

Slowly, Blaine got off Kurt, holding his hand up in a peaceful manner. "That's all right. You didn't hurt me. Just a scratch. I'll get some Band-Aids, and it will be fine, OK?"

Kurt was still frozen in shock, but he jerked a nod. He was now staring at the ceiling fan, his lungs visibly straining to not breathe in, to not scent the air which now held Blaine's blood.

The moment Blaine was out of the room, he heard the door close with a resolute slam. Then a click of a lock.

Blaine sighed. Kurt was terrified, because unintentionally, he had hurt Blaine yet again. He knew no matter how much he told Kurt that it wasn't his fault, his boyfriend would never again try something like this. And it had been going on so sweetly too.

XXXXX

I am still not breathing, but my lungs are killing me. I gulp in some air with my mouth. And I groan. The air still TASTES like Blaine.

I was so happy just a minute ago. So very happy. Because in all the drama of my life, Blaine and I had barely enough time to stay close. I was looking forward to be in this house, reluctantly so, but still. I was looking forward to be with Blaine, sharing teasing, sweet kisses, just as we were a moment ago. But, I obviously can't keep myself from harming anyone, can I?

And to harm Blaine...TWICE. Now he had a scar on his nose as well. Because of me. What pathetic monster am I?

I can no longer help it, and I take a huge breath through my nose. My throat convulsing with the taste of that delicious blood which belongs to Blaine. I let my tears fall as I curl over the blanket.

Why can't my life be simpler for just a day?

Maybe it will be better for everyone if I just—die. Suddenly, the faces of Dad, Carole and Finn flash before my eyes, and I feel guilty even thinking about this. Not to mention, Blaine. Can I even consider doing such a horrible thing to Blaine, because for whatever amazing reason, he loves me. He truly does.

I know that once I finally decide to go out of this room, Blaine will want to know what my problem was. After what seems like centuries, we finally got to be together like this, and I had to ruin it by being so—so WEAK. He will want to know why I kept pushing him away. Not that I don't want him; no way, he can't even grasp how much I WANT him. I'm just scared that he wouldn't want me back, if I ever told him just what I was thinking of doing while we were close.

And no, I don't mean just sex. Yes, I want sex with Blaine, obviously. But not just sex. My body craves far more. I WANT his blood too. And there's no way I'll openly admit this in front of him. Ever.

"But he loves you," a voice in my head speaks. "Maybe he'll not hate you if you just explained."

Yeah, right. I can hear myself sounding stupid. 'Oh, hey Blaine, I was thinking, why don't we have wild passionate sex? Oh, and while we're at it, how about I drink your blood? Cool, huh?'

Nope. Never ever is this going to happen. Everrr.

On cue, I feel him again at the door. I even know he doesn't want to disturb me just yet. But if he's here anyway, then it's probably something to do with Dad and Lily. I get off the bed and compose myself. Running and hand through my sweaty, ruffled hair, I open the door.

Blaine has a Band-Aid on his nose, he smiles at me uncertainly. Just the pain in his eyes make me guiltier. So I smile back as well, watching in wonder as his face sinks into a true smile in relief.

"Burt wants to talk," he says, his voice breathless in happiness. As if he thought I'd never talk to him again.

I shake my head in the sheer impossibility of this. Why must my life be so damn hard? And why, for whichever reason, must I be so damned lucky to have an understanding father and boyfriend? Nobody deserves such things. Especially, not me.

I take his hand as we make our way down the stairs, ignoring his wondrous expression resolutely. If I see him now, I won't be able to hold back. I just might destroy him right here on the stairs. That won't do.

Burt and Lily are waiting in the study. They both look as if they'd had a long argument. One sits on the end of the sofa, the other stands right by the far wall, looking out the dark window. Andy is waiting for us at the door. He smiles at us, strokes Blaine's check in affection and leaves.

At our entrance, they both go still, I can easily feel, Dad's heart accelerate just a little in anticipation.

Blaine and I sit down across from Dad, and I don't want to wait for them. "So, what have you decided?"

Lily comes away from the window and sits down on a chair between us. "I am resolute. I don't want to go on, Kurt."

"And I want her to find a reason to live," Dad says, shooting her a nasty glare. "I know I was hateful to you when we got reports of your betrayal. But now I know the truth, and I think instead of giving up, you should help us. Help Kurt, as he's your son in all but blood."

Blaine squeezes my hand in support and I take a deep breath. My mind was made up on this long ago, till I first beheld Lily in that warehouse.

"Lily, I'm afraid I have to agree with Dad here." Dad gives a slight smile, exhaling in relief and his heart just slows to normal. Lily however goes frigid, looking at me in silent accusation. "But, I also understand your situation, so I want to offer you a deal of sorts."

Dad snaps sharply, "What deal, Kurt?"

"As Dad says, we don't think you should give up now," I say slowly, looking only at Lily. "Help us in defeating Edward, maybe, for your own revenge if nothing else. If it helps you in continuing as you are, then I won't give you my blood. However, if you still fail to find any reason to go on, after we've achieved our goal, I'll offer you my blood without any trouble. But—what I mean is—you have to try. It has to go both ways. Please."

"Kurt this is not how we—" Dad says but I just shake my head at him.

"This is her decision Dad," I say shortly. "Her life."

After what seems like hours, Lily finally relaxes, her body becoming unwound again. "It will be hard...but you are right. I think I might feel better after exacting revenge on Edward. So, yes, I'll help you. But what's the guarantee you'll keep your word in the end?"

In answer I only smile. "Let's just say if our positions were reversed, I'd want the same from you. Because I know how you feel."

Lily meets my eyes and reads the truth there. Because like her, if anything happened to my family or Blaine, I'd want to be dead as well. She sees truth and smiles back. "You got yourself a deal, Kurt."

"This is insane!" Dad grumbles but says nothing else as he gets up and leaves.

Lily also gets up and says, "I think I should stay here as well for the time being. Good night, Kurt. Blaine."

Once again we are left alone. Blaine and I still hold hands. I feel his questions even before he says them.

"Kurt... Can we talk about this?"

I sigh again, now feeling tired. "What do you want to know, Blaine; That I feel like a monster on high every time a human pass me by. That I feel like I'll end up killing my whole family if I lost control. Or that all I can think about while with you is how your blood will taste like to me?"

He just watches me with wide eyes, squeezing my hand more. "Kurt...I..."

"I don't! I don't want to hurt anyone, OK. I don't want to feel like I want to EAT you every time we kiss. I don't...I don't want any of this, OK!"

Gently, Blaine hugs me close and I bury my face in his neck, inhaling the beautiful scent that is Blaine himself. His hand rubs gently across my back and he sways us slightly, soothingly, pressing kisses on my head.

"If you want my blood, Kurt, just take it."

I stop still at his words. Does he even know what he's saying? Or is he too far gone in love that he doesn't care anymore?

"Blaine...I can't..."

His arms tighten around me in fortitude. "No, Kurt, I want you to take it. If it helps you, take it. Please. I—I TRUST you to not hurt me, Kurt."

"After I've hurt you twice already...?" I snort in derision.

Blaine sighs in defeat. "Kurt even before you came here, I used to get hurt. It's something which comes with this job. A scratch or a scar doesn't faze me, damnit! I WANT you Kurt, just as you are. Even if you want my blood, I don't care. I love you too much."

"You are also a fool..." I mumble, pressing a kiss on his neck. "One day you'll hate me for this."

"I know that day wouldn't ever come. So just shut up and TAKE IT!"

I follow my nose then. His jugular is right there against my lips. I don't have fangs (thank the lord), but my teeth feel powerful and sharp. So I bite him, and that pure, warm nectar fills my mouth. I make an outrageous noise in my throat and Blaine relaxes against me, rubbing my back with the same soothing strokes.

I'm in heaven.

XXXXX

Sebastian was in the Dalton basement, observing the range of weapons all around with barely contained surprise. He'd known the Warblers were adept hunters, he just hadn't known they packed this much. He was impressed with these kids.

He'd texted Puck earlier to let him know he'll be crashing at Dalton tonight. Aunty Lily's return was baffling for him. She'd been back all these years and he had been kept in dark about it. It made him hate Edward even more if it were possible.

At first he'd tried to hear as Burt and Lily argued in the study using his magnified hearing. Then he thought it was none of his business. Aunty Lily could decide what to do with her life herself. So he stretched himself on the mattress and tried to sleep a while. Last few hours had been energetic to say the least, and he was far hungrier than he'd ever been.

It was after another hour that he got a whiff of Blaine's blood in the air. He stiffened, his eyes darkening in eagerness. So Kurt was having a treat, was he? Well, good for him. Sebastian knew of Kurt's qualms regarding this, but he was also sure Kurt's hunger was different than anything a normal Vampire felt. Kurt hungered for Blaine only, and not just for blood. It'll take a while but Sebastian hoped these kids will realize they needed to get connected physically and soon. That was the only way to quench Kurt's unwarranted thirst.

Of course, he could always drop by and tell him. But he still wasn't sure if anyone trusted him enough.

Even after having met everyone now, after gaining trust of Blaine and Warblers in a few hours at least, he wasn't feeling as happy as he'd hoped. If anything, he was more alone than he ever had been. Freedom from Edward wasn't the only thing he craved after all. He also wanted to be with someone, to love someone. And so he felt alien even after gaining friends in the human society.

"I truly am pathetic, aren't I?"

He slept for what seemed like just a few hours, and then he heard another person coming downstairs. He didn't recognize the scent at once, but he knew it was a Warbler. Sure enough, Nick opened the door and came towards him. He lied straight and unmoving, keeping his eyes shut.

"Sebastian, here, I came to give you this," Nick's soft voice made him open his eyes at last.

He blinked in shock. Nick was holding out fresh blood-bags, five to be exact. There was an understanding smile on the Warbler's face.

Sebastian got up and accepted the blood, feeling self-conscious as Nick sat cross-legged across from him. He tore into the bags with his fangs, his stomach screaming in relief as the blood hit him.

All the while he fed, Nick stayed close, observing him with almost a fascinated look.

"Aren't you disgusted?" Sebastian asked.

"No, actually I've seen Andy feeding," Nick said with a smile. "I'm almost used to it, I think."

"Aren't you supposed to kill us?"

Nick nodded. "Technically, yes. Only if you hurt people. Since you haven't—well, not lately—I don't see why we should kill you then."

Sebastian thought it made sense on some level. Humans were rather morale about such things. He wouldn't know himself; his human memories had faded instantly after his Turning was completed.

"What about Blaine? Is he all right?"

Nick gasped in shock. "How did you...Oh, you must have smelled his blood. Surprisingly, he is fine. Of course, he seems like he's high on drugs. Kurt didn't hurt him as bad he was thinking. In the end they just ended up in Kurt's room together. Lord knows what they are doing."

Sebastian cocked his head and listened. He heard nothing expect for peaceful slumbering breathes. "I'm sure they are just napping. They sound OK."

Nick sighed in relief, relaxing his legs further. "Are you feeling OK? I mean, after having blood?"

Sebastian only nodded as he tore into the third bag. He's been thirsty far too long, and it was a good decision on Nick's part to feed him now. He didn't want to imagine what he must have done to everyone in the house if he'd gone without blood a few more days.

"Why are you up so early?" Sebastian asked between gulps.

"Its my turn to make breakfast," Nick replied. "Since we have extra people to feed I thought I should get started early."

Sebastian got up and wiped his bloody face with his sleeve. "I can help you with breakfast."

"Great. Come along."

Sebastian found himself making pancakes after a few minutes, while Nick made eggs and bacon for everyone. Andy was the first one to come downstairs. He smiled at the joint team.

"Need help?" he asked Nick after ruffling his hair a bit.

"How about you wake up everyone?" Nick replied, continuing with his work.

XXXXX

Andy made a round of the entire house, firstly waking up Burt, Lily, Maria and Neal. Then he woke up Alex and Cooper who shared a room, being of the same age group. Next he woke up his Warbler sons; at last he went to wake up Blaine and Kurt.

He didn't need his Vampire senses to know that they both were in the same bed. When he opened the door, he couldn't help but smile. Kurt and Blaine were curled around each other in such a peaceful manner that he almost went back, trying not disturb their peace.

But he had to wake them up for breakfast. Besides, he knew Burt wouldn't appreciate their sleeping in the same room like this, no matter how cute or sinless they appeared.

"Wake up, boys," Andy called aloud.

Kurt and Blaine jerkily woke up, and upon seeing Andy, hurriedly backed away from each other, their blushes making them look adorable. Andy chuckled. "Get going, if you want breakfast on time."

Kurt was out of the bed first, self-consciously smoothing his clothes which seemed to be half hanging off of him. He hurried to the attached bathroom with a muttered apology directed to Andy.

Blaine remained in bed, avoiding his father's gaze and looking as if he was about to get a scolding. Andy simply went forward and sat by him, squeezing his shoulder till Blaine looked up.

"Does it hurt?"

Blaine blinked, the realized what he meant. "Um—at first it did." He stroked the wound on his neck with a thumb, shivering lightly. "But I never guessed it to feel so—"

"Good?" Andy supplied with a knowing look. "Yes, Quinn has told me a lot about such things. It's clear you and Kurt have a lot to learn. Sharing blood can be an intimate act in Vampire world, you now."

Blaine shook his head. "We didn't do anything, I swear! We just—made out. Like a lot. But that's it, I promise."

Andy shook his head in amusement. "Sharing your blood with Kurt like this, you might as well have had sex, Blaine. The act is that intimate, you see."

Blaine's mouth hung open, and he blinked several times before blushing again. "Um—it is?"

"Clearly you have more to learn," Andy stood up and said, his gaze to the door of the bathroom. He knew Kurt would hear him just fine. "If you have any questions, feel free to consult me. But I do think you should refrain from drinking any more of Blaine's blood for a while."

Andy heard a muttered curse from Kurt inside the bathroom, which escaped Blaine's notice obviously. He chuckled and went out the room, saying over his shoulder, "Try not to come down together. Burt will notice."

Downstairs, Lily was now also helping Nick with breakfast, as everybody else gathered around the kitchen island, expectantly waiting to be fed. Cooper was discussing deeply with Alex about life as a Deserter, completely oblivious of the fact that there were two vampires making food for him.

Then again, Lily and Sebastian didn't need food as much. Still, from what he saw, they appeared excellent cooks. He caught Burt's eye, and almost smiled. Burt looked just as stunned at the way things have developed as he himself felt.

Burt could, however, accept Kurt easily. Kurt still had his humanity left.

Andy didn't know how to even contemplate the idea of outliving his family, now that he was who he was. He'd not even called his family in Kentucky to let them know of his situation. He was sure if they found out, they'd come here to kill him without much thought. A Turned Vampire Assassin was a taboo worst than anything imaginable, and the only punishment was death. On spot. He knew enough of his history to know how this rule was regulated without even batting an eyelash.

He almost understood Lily's need to die as soon as possible. He couldn't imagine living when Blaine and his sons wouldn't live as long as he would. They'd grow old and die, while he'll carry on. It was a depressing thought, and he knew why Lily wanted such fate for herself.

Across the island, Lily looked up and caught his eye, smiling in a manner which showed him that she knew what he was thinking about.

Maybe, after things were settled here, he could ask Kurt for his blood too. Maybe, he could live some time as a human again before naturally dying. He could ask Lily to persuade Kurt together.

The idea filled him with a deep sense of satisfaction, as he came to join his kids, settling beside Jeff who was dopily staring at Nick as he cooked. Andy ruffled Jeff's blonde mane, making him laugh and roll his eye.

Yes, the idea of being with his kids as a human was surely tempting.

XXXXX

Dad notices me. Even though I come downstairs three minutes after Blaine does. Thank goodness Blaine is wearing high-necked shirt, covering the bite mark. I'll die of mortification if anybody caught us.

Considering what I'd heard Andy say, last night we'd done something as close as sex—without realizing it, granted—but still. What if everybody already knew what blood sharing meant? They'd look at us with different eyes, wouldn't they?

I catch Nick's smile as I sit beside Dad, looking as innocent as possible. It was a miracle really, that Nick had come downstairs early and found us tangled up on the couch. If he hadn't interrupted, I could've drained Blaine to the last drop. I was so carried away in ecstasy that I didn't even care how much I was taking.

Blaine seems all right, though. His face didn't look as if he was suffering from blood loss. His blush was very healthy. So maybe, Nick's interruption had been timely enough and I didn't take much.

Besides, as Andy said, I won't have Blaine's blood again. Not for a few months at least. I can't afford to cause him any more scars than he already sported.

Speaking of which, Jeff noticed the band-aid on Blaine. "What the heck happened to you?"

Blaine looked away and mumbled, "Nothing. Nicked myself."

"On what?" Wesley grumbled, critically examining the nose wound, and looking suspiciously at Blaine's avoiding gaze.

"Nothing..."

"Me," I blurt out before I can catch myself. Everyone stares at me. "I'm...we were...Oh, you know! It was an accident."

I belatedly realize that Cooper is here with that boy Alex, both only thirteen. They shouldn't know what Blaine and I had been doing. But it answers everyone's question and they don't pester Blaine about it anymore. Expect maybe, Jeff. He smirks meaningfully and mouths, "You dog!"

"I believe I said no funny business," Dad mutters to me, looking grave.

"I assure you, we were quiet serious," I mumbled back. "Nothing funny about it, Dad."

Across the island, Lily barks a laugh, catching my words, while Sebastian looks as if he almost smiled too. It seems as if Lily likes teasing Dad. I wonder if she used to do that while Paul was alive and they used to live together here.

Dad just glares at me but even he can't hold in his smile. His lips twitch lightly. "Well, you better get married first."

I almost choke on the juice I took a sip of. Marriage...so soon? And then, realizing how things were in this town, maybe having Blaine as my husband would be a nice idea. Except, I don't have a clue if Blaine wants me THAT way. What if he only loves me as a boyfriend and not as a future partner?

I catch his eye and he smiles back at me with such trusting eyes. Yes, I could totally see us together for the rest of our lives. Only, I don't even know if we'll survive this very day or not.

Dad and Finn go to get Carole after breakfast ends. The Warblers disappear to perform various usual duties while I find myself alone with Lily and Sebastian. It's strange. A few days ago, I'd never have dreamed of being with them like this. And Sebastian is almost my cousin when you look at it this way.

He must be feeling strange too, for he keeps looking at me with weird, deep in thought looks. Finally he says, "You drank his blood..."

It's such an unexpected thing to ask that I just stare at him for a whole minute. "Oh, how did you...No, stupid question. Yes, I did."

"Did you hurt him?"

I do believe he sounds like he's interrogating me or something. "Not really. I mean, I think I took more than was necessary."

"He didn't look hurt," Sebastian commented.

Lily flicked on the TV and scrolled through the channels. She finally settled on the sitcom in which Rachel is playing lead. We watch the episode for a while, and I can almost see why she was such a brilliant actor. No wonder Finn liked her, not just for her personality but for her talents too.

"How can she be in a production when she was a Deserter?" I can't help but ask.

"Deserters own the Hill TV network, Kurt," Lily replies. "Edward has bought them, of course. But they are almost liberal to do as they please. That's how Roz was able to take Burt's story and air it without a second thought. Edward must have thought that by giving TV freedom, he must have secured their regard for himself. His own plan backfired on him, and I almost love it."

We watch the whole episode in silence, and then Lily gets up to browse the library. "I'm sure to find something about Assassins here, they most intrigue me."

"Why did you ask about Blaine?" I ask once we are left alone.

"Because I know you are confused," Sebastian explains. "You aren't hungry for just Blood, are you, Kurt?"

I blush, looking away. There's no need to tell Sebastian the carvings I've been having for Blaine lately. But the knowing glance he is giving me, almost makes me curious.

"I don't know," I tell him faintly. "I mean—it feels like I want his blood but—now that I've had some of it, I still can't—I'm not satisfied yet. I feel like there's more I should take, but..."

Sebastian nods. "It's intriguing. I've never known a half-human before. So to think that your sex drive is as heightened as any normal Vampire's is most interesting."

MY WHAT? I stare at him in shock. "What do you mean...?"

"Look, in Vampires, there's natural, predatory instinct, to claim their rightful things. Their prey, or their possessions, even their mate. Let's say, when we find a soul mate, we crave to make them ours in every way possible, and not just by marking them with our bite, but also with—well BODILY, you can say."

OK, I am NOT having THE TALK with Sebastian of all people. No way. But since it's more than just the talk, more like THE VAMPIRE TALK, I think it won't hurt to learn some things. Besides, I'd rather bury myself than confront Andy about this even if he had offered his help.

"What more do I need to know?" I sound almost desperate.

"As I said before, you didn't take much from Blaine because you are human still," Sebastian explains. "No matter how much you bite him, you won't take more than a few long draughts. It would seem like a lot because of the utmost emotions and reaction you will feel, but it won't be a lot. Which means, Blaine is safe from you, don't worry on that.

"Which takes us to your carvings. Simply, talk to him about this. I'm not saying you should get in bed right now, but you have to be certain when you want to do it. As you are more powerful than him, you'll have to take in account his disposition too."

"You mean that I have no choice but to—s-sex Blaine up!"

Sebastian smirks his trademark smirk. "Exactly. If you feel it's too bold, you really can just marry him. I'm sure he'd say yes, if how he feels for you is any indication."

"I can't," I mumbled, showing my distress even when I don't want to. "I don't know if he wants me like that."

Sebastian snorted. "If he wanted you any more, he'd be fucking your brains this very minute if it wasn't for the audience."

Self-conscious again, I hide a smile. Yes, Blaine has been giving me THOSE looks a lot lately. Maybe, Sebastian is right again. Maybe, we need to take the next step in our relationship. If it will help my—er, carving was it?—then we should do it. I don't want to feel like this all the time.

"What will happen after we—do it?"

Sebastian shrugs. "In Vampires, it means they won't want anyone else apart from their mates. Their blood alone would satisfy them, and their bodies alone would appeal to them. But since you are human too, I don't know how you will be affected. But, rest assured, your thirst will be manageable. In fact, maybe you won't need blood bags at all and just sustain yourself with normal food after that."

I nod, feeling a lot better than I had before. "It still isn't a guarantee, though, is it?"

"As I said, I don't have any experience with half-humans, sorry."

We both stay in front of TV for the next hour. I find it almost simple to be with Sebastian, it's almost easy to laugh with him and pretend everything is just normal. If I tried a bit, I can also forget that I'm not just human, and that he's not a human too.

Maybe, this is how brotherhood feels like? It certainly felt like this with Finn.

Brittany and Santana called Sebastian's cell phone later that morning. Blaine was back with Kurt in their room and Sebastian was entertaining himself by observing Cooper doing his homework, chatting with Alex all the while.

"Yea?" he asked, picking up the call.

"We need to talk, fast," Brittany spoke on the other end.

Sebastian frowned, wondering why Santana had given the phone to Brittany to talk. "Why?"

"It's about Kurt, or his power, I think," she said. "We need to rendezvous at some top secret spot."

Sebastian sighed. "I don't know such a spot, OK?"

There was shuffling sounds and then Santana was speaking. "Yeah, you do. We need to get to that Cabin of yours."

"That Cabin is top secret for a reason," he snapped angrily, making Cooper and Alex go still and look at him. "I'm the only person alive who knows of it. And I intend to keep it that way."

"Quinn knows too," Santana said smugly. "Or I think she does. But hey, I won't ask of this if it wasn't important."

Finally, Sebastian agreed. "Fine. When are we meeting?"

"As fast as possible," Santana said. "In fact we are on our way to the woods right now. Bring Kurt and Blaine with you. Nobody else, you hear?"

Sebastian winced. Lily had walked in just then, and she looked as if she had heard everything. "I'll bring another person too, if you don't mind."

"Whatever, just get here."

Sebastian stared at the phone. Santana obviously thought the other person must be one of their allies.

Since nobody but Warblers and Hummel aware of Lily's presence, Sebastian knew it would cause quiet a fuss with Santana to expose Lily like this. But the again, Quinn knew of her before, and had kept it quiet as well.

Like she was reading him, Lily said, "I don't want to hide anymore, Seb. Let's go. It sounded important."

"Why do you need to go anyway?" he asked gruffly, getting up.

"Kurt's my son," she said simply. "After Paul died I—I vowed to keep him safe. And I've kept eye on him ever since."

Sebastian nodded. He thought he understood why she was being like this. If he had anyone he held dear like this, he would've done the same for them. "I'll get them."

"Who is going to be here with us?" Cooper asked.

In answer, Burt walked in with Carole leaning against him. Finn was behind them, smiling broadly. Carole was raptly grinning at the interior of Dalton.

Then she spotted Lily.

Her face spilt into a sad smile, and she held her arms open. Lily looked at Burt, and knew he had already told Carole everything. So she stepped up to hug Carole back, feeling warm that Carole still loved her as she once did.

Turning to Sebastian, Lily smiled. "You know what; maybe you guys should go ahead. I would like to stay with Carole a while."

"Where are they going?" Burt asked at once.

So while Lily explained the call, Sebastian went upstairs to find Blaine and Kurt.

Blaine and I lay side by side, our legs tangled and our noses almost brushing. He is worrying his lips in the most adorable manner as he thinks on what I've said.

Everything Sebastian has told me about—er, Vampire sex—now Blaine also knows. I figured, the sooner he knows of it the better, right? Still, he doesn't look disgusted, which I find to be a hopeful prospect. Now I don't want us to get down and dirty at once. Obviously. But maybe, soon.

At last he says, "OK. I think, I understand now. From what I've read on Vampires, I think I knew this is almost a normal thing for them, having mates and stuff. So, of course, this is baffling for you."

"What should we do now?" I mumble, rubbing my nose against his.

"Well—there's only one option, isn't it?"

Is it just me or do I see an almost eager spark in his hazel eyes? He looks at me with merely breathtaking impatience, like an exited puppy and I giggle.

"So Sebastian said. But, honestly, you can't mean to just do it!"

I'm such a hypocrite. I WANT to do it so badly. Yet. We have to think rationally about this first. This is the matter of the rest of our lives.

"I want to do it," Blaine murmurs, pecking my nose playfully. "But I think, we should do it when we are—alone. Like, not in my house, with both our fathers here, you know."

I nod. He's sensible, all right. Can't believe I didn't think of it. "So, do you have any other ideas, then?"

"Motel?" Blaine suggests and then shakes his head. "Nah, too apparent. Maybe, we can doitinthewoods."

At this I giggle even louder, nuzzling at the bite wound on his neck. He shivers at my touch.

"When is it going to heal?" I ask distractedly. I didn't want Blaine to hide it all the time.

"You know, Andy said that saliva works," Blaine mumbled. "Vampire saliva, I mean. Maybe, if you tired, yours would work too."

I nod again. Maybe, I should try. And his skin looks so inviting, and I mean this in the most un-Vampire-ish way as possible. I lean close and experimentally lick on his neck. He gasps in a hiss, going still. His heart picks up and I smile.

Teasing a bit, I lick him again, tasting the unique, salt-ish flavor of his skin. Its quiet different from his mouth but still intriguing. I lick again, this time sloppily and with a lot of spit.

"K-Kurt...just, hurry up, will you...? Or I..."

He shivers beneath me. Wait, when did I get on top of him again? I'm suddenly reminded of what Sebastian said that the emotions will lead me too wild. I don't recall moving, or positioning myself on him, at all. I was so lost in his taste.

So I swipe my tongue on his wound in long, lush strokes, ignoring the way he shudders and the pulse I feel on my tongue. Then I blow a breath on the wet skin, and I watch in amazement.

True, he isn't healing as fast I usually do, but I can surely see less swelling, and even less reddening of the scar. It's healing, very slowly but palpably.

Grinning, I peel away the band-aid from his nose and lick on the small scar there, just using my tip and wriggling it a bit. Blaine chuckles, his eyes going crazy as he tries to see me and his nose.

I back away, grinning in triumph. So I also have magical spit. Cool. Not only I turn Vampires into human, I also use spit to make the pain go away. It's so ridiculous, yet exciting.

"It's feeling well," Blaine says after a while. He is checking his neck. "I can't feel the puckering anymore. Kurt, this is so cool!"

I laugh with him and he yanks me to kiss me hard. I let my mouth open, inviting him in and loosing myself into the sensations of his tongue against mine.

I still have inhibitions and fears regarding myself, but after talking to Blaine—on Sebastian's advice—I feel light. I feel like now we know what we are doing, and so, it is safe to kiss him this way. It is safe to need him when he knew what I actually need from him. It is safe to loose myself for a while, basking in his closeness.

When he playfully turns us over to straddle me—I smile. I don't think I've seen Blaine being as adorable as he is now, or as happy and free. If I am the cause of it, then I almost feel special. Then again, to have his love is special in itself. I kiss him back fervently, hoping that he feels my emotions too. Hoping he knows how proud I am to be with him. Hoping he knows my gratitude, for accepting me with all of the dratted faults I have.

I hear Sebastian come up and reluctantly pry Blaine away. He frowns briefly and then realizes someone is coming as well. We both lie again, nose nuzzling softly. We share a knowing smile.

It was so good to be here with each other. Even if we are getting interrupted, for a while, I had been able to just let go. I wish...it can stay this way.

Sebastian comes in and tells us of Santana's call. And since I want to know more about myself, and Blaine too, we decide to leave at once.
