"Oh." The boy breathed, glancing nervously at the exit. "You-
"I'm ready to go." Kurt cut him off, motioning for Blaine to lead the way.
"Um," Blaine hesitated, "I don't know your name." he said sheepishly.
"It's Kurt." The other boy said simply.
"Okay, um … that's the way." Blaine uttered awkwardly, his hand moving towards Kurt's before he swapped it away suddenly.
"Do you mind?" he squeaked, eyeing their hands that stood inches away from each other.
Kurt laughed. "Not at all." He replied, grasping the other boy's hand who flinched before relaxing; smiling warmly.
Maybe Janet was right after all. A hopeless romantic.
"What?" Kurt asked, noticing Blaine staring at him.
"You're so pretty." The boy whispered before a blush covered his cheeks.
Scratch that. An adorable hopeless romantic.
"Thank you."
Blaine seemed a little more comfortable with the situation now. "I called a taxi." He said before correcting himself. "I mean, my friends did but it's outside anyway so it doesn't matter-god, this is awkward. I'm sorry." He bit his lip, looking frustrated.
"Blaine," Kurt began softly, "You don't have to impress me, you know." He finished, smiling gently. "Let's just … go there. Okay?"
"Yeah." Blaine breathed, his shoulders relaxing. Slowly, his lips stretched into a beautiful and somewhat confident smile. "Come with me."
The ride was pretty much uneventful, Blaine did not make any advances towards Kurt; actually, they hardly made any contact though Kurt could feel Blaine's eyes on him the entire time, burning with intensity as they studied him.
Having not been used to such treatment, Kurt felt his face flush, ducking his head to hide how flustered he was.
"We're here."
Blaine jumped at hearing the driver's gruff response before his face morphed into a charming smile.
"How much do I owe you?"
"Forty-five dollars."
"Here. Thank you."
Blaine turned towards Kurt, extending his hand. "May I?"
Kurt giggled at the absurdity of the situation. "Of course." He took Blaine's hand, letting him lead him inside the hotel.
"Are we there yet?" he asked a few moments later, his eyes scanning the numbers of the hotel room as they passed them.
"Almost." Blaine said, glancing at a small piece of paper. "Dav-my friends, they said they prepared a room … for me." He cleared his throat.
"That's sweet of them." Kurt commented, surprising Blaine.
"I guess it is." He chuckled embarrassedly, "I didn't think…" his voice trailed off as he looked at Kurt disbelievingly.
"What is it?"
"I thought you'd find it pathetic." He replied shyly.
"Well," Kurt began, "It is. A little bit." Blaine looked stricken. "But it's also nice. It's great to have friends that care about you so much."
"They do." Blaine agreed before he came to a halt. "Here's our room." He announced, reaching for his key.
As they entered the room, Kurt let out a gasp. "Wow."
"Is it too much?" Blaine looked around him hopelessly. "It's too much. We could-
"No! It's fine." Kurt hurried to object, "I was just surprised. Wow … your friends must have spent a lot of money on this." He commented, looking at the suite-like room.
"Yeah, they tend to do that." Blaine replied. "So,"
"Yes?" Kurt prompted.
"Um," Blaine cleared his throat, "Will you… um, can you-
"Blaine, you don't have to ask me to do things." Kurt cut him off, smiling faintly. "You're supposed to tell me."
"Okay. You're right." Blaine breathed deeply. "Take off your clothes." He then said.
"Please." He added, almost inaudibly.
"Okay." Kurt said, his hands moving towards the lower hem of his shirt as he slowly peeled it off his body.
As soon as it was off, he carefully folded it, placing it carefully on a nearby wooden chair. Then he moved to his undershirt, followed by his pants and socks.
Straightening up, he looked at Blaine expectantly.
Blaine opened him mouth to talk but it seemed dry. Slowly, he walked towards Kurt, his hands resting on the other man's chest.
His hands started trailing down slowly, feeling the whole expanse of Kurt's torso as if he wanted to memorize it by touch.
Kurt's hands found Blaine's, holding them still as he said. "That's not how it works, Blaine."
Blaine looked up, confused. "How does it work?"
"Like this." Kurt said, letting go of Blaine's hands and holding his chin up gently as he surged forward, pressing a soft kiss on his lips.
Blaine seemed dazed; not responding until Kurt removed his lips from his own and then it all came back.
"No." he mumbled, his hands grasping Kurt's shoulders as he dived in, this time kissing him forcefully-unlike Kurt's first kiss-his lips moving frantically against the other boy's.
Kurt smiled into the kiss, his tongue probing at Blaine lips though the boy didn't respond to it.
"Blaine." He murmured against the other boy's lips. Blaine's movements stopped as he looked up timidly.
"You're supposed to open your mouth." Kurt whispered, his hand moving teasingly underneath Blaine's shirt, making the smaller boy shudder.
Blaine nodded frantically. "I know that. French kissing, I've seen it."
Kurt laughed. "Well, it's time to do it now." And with that, he pressed his lips on the other boy's again, only this time Blaine's lips parted willingly, letting Kurt's tongue delve the insides of his mouth.
And for the first time that night, Kurt thought maybe, just maybe; they could actually make this work.
