“So,” Rachel began as her parents began to talk about work and relatives, “how’s Liam?” Kurt frowned slightly. “That great, huh?” Kurt shook his head.
“He’s just…” Kurt couldn’t come up with the word. Kurt had been seeing Liam, a nineteen year old currently attending OSU, for about a month now. Everything was great. Liam was sweet, a gentlemen, and had a lot in common with Kurt. Kurt loved spending time with the blond haired, blue eyed boy. But for some reason, Kurt felt like something was missing. “He’s-” Kurt began again, but his phone began to vibrate in his pocket. Kurt quickly dug his phone out and glanced at the caller ID. “Calling me,” he said as he slid his iPhone unlocked.
“Kurt,” Liam’s voice rang through the phone before Kurt could say a word of greeting. “Where are you?”
“I’m at Rachel’s. Is everything okay?”
“No,” Liam whined and Kurt quietly excused himself from the table and stood in the hallway before speaking again.
“What’s wrong?” Kurt asked, worry eminent in his voice.
“You’re not here,” he replied and Kurt began to smile. “And I miss you so much, Kurt.” His smile faded as Liam’s words began to slur.
“Are you drunk?”
“Kurt, I want you,” Liam continued. “Come over. I want you so bad.” Kurt ran his fingers through his hair and let out a long breath.
“I have to go,” Kurt said finally.
“No, babe, please. I need you. I need you.”
“I have to go, Liam,” Kurt said more forcefully.
“Wait-” he heard Liam say just before he hung up the phone. Kurt leaned his back against the wall behind him and closed his eyes as he sighed deeply. This was the second time that Liam had drunk called him in the past week. And Kurt had to admit, it was a huge turn off.
“Is there anything I can do?” a soft voice asked and Kurt opened his eyes to see Blaine standing there with his hands in his pockets. Kurt stared at the boy for a moment, drinking in his presence before shaking his head. “Do you want to talk about it?” How? How was this perfect human being in existence?
“Don’t you have homework to do or something?” Kurt said, and instantly hoped he didn’t come off as a jerk. But Blaine smiled, making Kurt relax.
“I was kind of hoping that the fabulous Kurt Hummel would help me.” His smile was like a child’s asking his parents if he could stay up past his bed time. Kurt mentally kicked himself when he found it endearing. Kurt rolled his eyes at the boy and hoped that he couldn’t hear Kurt’s thumping heart. “Please?” Blaine asked and Kurt stared into his hazel puppy dogs eyes.
“Fine! Just stop making that face,” said Kurt. Blaine smiled and did a little fit pump. “Oh, God. I’ll be right back.” Kurt walked back into the dining room and over to Rachel. “I’m going to help Blaine with his homework,” he said and then picked up his dish to take it into the kitchen.
“Thanks, Blaine,” Kurt heard Rachel say from the other room. “It’s not like Kurt and I had plans or anything.”
“Hey, my education is more important than the Sound of Music.” Kurt heard Rachel gasp loudly.
“I don’t even know who you are anymore,” Rachel said with disgust. Kurt walked back into the room and Blaine raised his eyes brows at him.
“Ready?” Blaine asked and Kurt nodded his head. He followed Blaine up the stairs and into the boy’s room. Blaine grabbed his bag on crashed down onto his bed. Kurt stood there awkwardly and Blaine jerked his head to the empty space beside him. “Come on, I don’t bite,” Blaine said, smiling as he quoted Kurt from earlier. Kurt smiled and sat down.
“Alright, let’s get started.”

Can you come over right now? My bed is empty and Glee doesn't start for two and a half hours
