Blaine lay in bed his mind filled with thoughts of Jermaine in gym that day - all hot and sweaty and shirtless. His flawless abs, the way he flexed his muscles. Why was Jermaine so hot? Blaine really needed to tell him how he felt. Jermaine was his best friend. That was the main reason Blaine hadn't - he didn't want to ruin their friendship. Jermaine had been there for him through Tom and Blaine’s break up. Jermaine was always there.
Blaine dipped his hand into his pyjama bottoms and fisted his cock, and slowly began moving his hand along the length, brushing his thumb over the head spreading the pre-cum gathering there down the underside of his dick, massaging the vein, teasing balls with his pinky. His eyes fluttered shut and imagined Jermaine pressed against him.
“Oh Jermaine, baby, faster, faster, please,” breathed Blaine and he sped up his pace.
“Ah- ah that’s nice, JJ, and t-twist oh, oh god, Jermaine, oh god, that feels good,” moaned Blaine. He felt a tight hot coiling in his stomach, a few more pumps and he was cuming all over his hand, and rode through his orgasm, Jermaine’s name falling over his lips.
‘Maybe I should tell him.’
‘You think? I’ve been telling you that for months.’
‘Yeah, but I just- I don’t want to be shot down. I mean after Tom. Tom broke my heart.’
‘And who helped to pick up the pieces?’
‘Jermaine bu-’
‘And who has always been there?’
‘Jermaine bu-’
‘No buts, Blaine, you should tell him.’
‘But how? I’m useless with words.’
‘Use your most powerful method of communication… sing to him.’
‘You’re right, I’ll think of a number… I’ll sing it to him at the Warblers concert tomorrow- I needed a song anyway.’

‘Okay, Blaine, this is it, you are finally going to tell him.’
‘I can’t do this.’
‘Yes you can.’
‘What if he says no… or that he’s straight… I mean he’s nev-‘
‘He won’t and he isn’t. Don’t you see the way he looks at you? He’ll say yes.’
‘Okay, if you say so.’
“Please, welcome to the stage our final act of the evening, Blaine Anderson.” said Wes, calling him up. Showtime.
“T-thank you, Wes.” stuttered Blaine nervously. “Th-this is for Jermaine, really, really listen… it’s just something I've wanted to say for a while.”
Blaine walked over to the piano and started playing, ignoring the adorable confused look on Jermaine’s face.
I know I stand in line until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place and have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like "I love you"
I can see it in your eyes
That you despise the same old lies you heard the night before
And though it's just a line to you, for me it's true
And never seemed so right before
Blaine kept his amber eyes locked on Jermaine’s brown ones. He loved Jermaine, he had for months. Blaine had never been very good with words but when he sang everyone heard him, they heard what he had to say, what he couldn’t convey in any other way.
I practice every day to find some clever lines to say
To make the meaning come through
But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late and I'm alone with you
The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red and, oh, the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like "I love you"
The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red and, oh, the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all by sayin' something stupid like "I love you"
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love…you
The crowd cheered and Blaine saw Jermaine walking towards him through the crowd.
“Hey, JJ,” said Blaine, climbing down form the stage. “So what did you- erm think?” Blaine shifted nervously from foot to foot, eyes downcast.
“I’m speechless, it was lovely,” said Jermaine awkwardly. “But, Blaine… err, I’m not sure how to tell you this… but I’m straight, I’m sorry.”
“Oh,” said Blaine dejectedly, forcing the urge to cry down. He couldn’t stand to let Jermaine see him cry now.
“I’m sorry, Blaine; I hope we can still be friends. I would really miss your friendship, it means a lot to me,” said Jermaine softly, stroking Blaine's forearm.
“Yeah, yeah of course,” said Blaine, he wasn’t ready to lose Jermaine either; he never wanted to lose Jermaine, ever. “But if you’ll excuse me there’s something I err- have to- um have to do.”
And with that Blaine left, walking calmly until he was out of sight of Jermaine and the running to the toilets, he locked himself in a stall and allowed himself to break down.
‘I said he’d say no, and now I’ve made a fool out of myself.’
‘Blaine, I’m sorry.’
‘Shut it, I’m not listening to you anymore, thanks to you my heart aches again, after I spent months fixing it.’
“Blaine,” came a timid voice. “Blaine, where are you?”
The other boy must have noticed Blaine feet under the stall and knocked on the door.
“Blaine, please, come out, we can talk about it if you like?”
“Go away, I don’t want to talk about it!” snapped Blaine.
“Well that’s too bad because I have 3 tubs of Cookie Dough ice cream in my freezer at home… Please, Blaine, come out and talk to me.”
“You should have started with the Cookie Dough ice cream, JJ. I’m sorry too, I know you’d never really told me and I’m just sorry.”
“Blaine, don’t be, don’t worry… I understand - I mean what self-respecting gay could resist me and my eyes,” Jermaine joked.
“Don’t get too big headed, JJ,” Blaine warned. “But on another note, I do really like your eyes.”
A crimson blush crept over Blaine's cheeks.
‘Damn’ Jermaine thought, ‘lying to Blaine is going be harder than I thought, especially if he keeps being THAT adorable, and cute, why is he so gorgeous?’
“Really, thanks, Blaine… Come on, let’s get back to mine, your choice of movies. We can even break in to Grace’s Disney collection.”
“Sounds great, thank you, JJ, you are amazing.”
“Awww, stop it, Blaine, you are making me blush.”
Blaine gave Jermaine a small push; they linked arms, both boys feeling fire flaring up under their skin, neither saying a thing. Their friendship meant so much and although he’d broken Blaine, the-boy-he-was-head-over-heels-for’s, heart, Jermaine had one thing to hold on to – Blaine liked him back. If only he could find the courage to come out, and somehow knowing about Blaine's feelings made him feel like he might find it one day.
