Author's Notes: So...What do you think. as always your reviews are appreciated. Unfortunately i would have to say were getting close to the end of this story. I'd just like to say thank you to you all, i'll probably write a big long sappy thing when we get to the end for which you would be under no obligation to read, but anyway as always love and hugs from Toastie xxx

Darren and Kelsey came back home around four, and they began to pack up Tobias things, all his clothes and products from Blaine's bathroom; everything. They managed to fit most of it in his gym bag with the exception of a couple of his sweaters. Blaine tried to sneak one underneath his pillow, but Kelsey caught him.

"Hey, no taking that" said Kelsey, taking it off him.

"But, but it's mine. I gave it him." Blaine lied.

"Blaine. You don't even support the New York Giants. You're a Cleveland Browns' fan!"

"I could support both..."

"But you don't... do you? You just want his sweater"

"It smells nice...."

"Blaine. You slept on the couch last night 'cause his pillow smelt of him...."

"Yeah point taken... I guess I just miss him more now..." he said sitting down on the bed, pulling at Tobias pillow.

"Sweetie that's natural" said Kelsey.

"I know that I shouldn't after what he did... but I do... just seeing all his stuff gone like this... It just makes me feel a tad lonely. The worst part is I don't want to miss him..."

"That's totally normal too"

"Yeah... I should wash these sheets....Try to get rid of his scent"

Blaine started to strip his bed down, and put the sheets in the wash. The three of them brought all Tobias stuff out into the main living area and waited and waited... and waited. Blaine began to pace, getting a little nervous as to why Tobias hadn't showed. He said he was coming to collect his things today. Blaine's thoughts started to run away with him, tormenting him, guilt tripping him.

"What if he's dead," Blaine said out of nowhere... "What if he was so heartbroken that he like, did something or, or he got hit by a cab... or gotten beat up... you know what this neighbourhood is like at night or, or..."

"Blaine." Darren interjected "I'm sure he hasn't... He's probably just running late"

"Yeah... yeah you're right...." Blaine said stopping pacing and sitting down, only to stand back up and begin pacing again.

It started to get dark. Kelsey Blaine and Darren watched a couple of movies, and ordered two pizzas for the three of them to share. Blaine kept side-eyeing the pair of them, they were hiding something and Kelsey never kept secrets from Blaine, she told him everything absolutely everything. He couldn't help but feel a bit dejected that she was hiding something. The night moved on, it got later and later and Tobias still hadn't showed.

"Blaine, he's obviously not coming tonight, Its past midnight..." said Kelsey stifling a yawn.

"He might still turn up... Imma stay out here..."

"Blaine, you need to sleep..." said Darren, "you can't have slept very well last night on this lumpy old couch... just go to bed... He'll be over tomorrow I'm sure..."

"But Ihm no sleepy" Blaine said, hiding a yawn.

"Yes, of course you're not... And my name Is Jack" He replied "come on mister... bedtime..."

"But it's lonely there..."

Kelsey slipped in to Blaine's room; she immediately found what she was looking for, an old, well-loved puppy dog plush. It was perched on the chair in the corner of Blaine's room, Kelsey remembered the story behind the teddy, what it means to Blaine and she knew that Blaine would go to bed once he had it. She was worried about him; he'd obviously barely slept or eaten the past few days and she could sense something was bothering him.

"You won't be lonely because Margaret Thatcher Dog wants sleepy cuddles in bed" said Kelsey, holding the toy to him.

Blaine smiled fondly at the dog, and took it from Kelsey.

"Okay... I'll go to bed but im not guaranteeing that I'll sleep at all"

"That's okay, just rest bee. That's better than staying wide awake in here" said Darren, knowing full well that as soon as Blaine's head hit the pillow he'd be out like a light.

"Goodnight you two..." Blaine said before going into his room, getting into bed and promptly passing out.

~~~
Kelsey and Darren got ready for bed she slid he ring back on and they curled up together like they usually do.
"I just feel bad hiding this from him" Kelsey said, as she curled into Darren, staring at the ring.
"I know, sugar." Said Darren, rubbing his hand up her arm. "I do too..."
"I tell him everything"
"Wait... everything? What kind of everything?"
"Everything, everything."
"Really?" Darren asked
"Yeah? Why wouldn't I? He's my best friend..."
"Do you tell him stuff about me?"
"Maybe" she smirked
"What kind of stuff?" asked Darren, taking his arm for around her shoulder "Personal stuff? Intimate stuff?"
"About our relationship, Darren. I get advice."
"So you tell him about what happens in the bedroom? You told him about the night that I couldn't" he looked down at his lap and back up at her, Kelsey looked away, looking guilty "Well that's just great!"
"So I talk to my best friend about my fiancé? How is this different to when you talk to your friends in the mailroom about our sex life? Huh?"
"Well, that's- that's different" said Darren sounding flustered.
"How?! How is that different to what I do?"
"It's different because, because..." said Darren, floundering "They don't live with you"
"Yeah, but they work with me, you don't think I see them sniggering and looking me up and down when they do the post rounds?" said Kelsey "You don't think I've heard them talking! Blaine is my best friend and we share that stuff he used to tell me all kinds of stuff about him and Kurt, and him and Tobias"
"Yeah well..." Darren started
"Well what?!"Kelsey said, getting out of bed and standing up. "It's different when you do it?"
"Well yeah..."
"Ergh! How? How the fuck is this different..."Kelsey screamed
"It, it...it just is."
"It's not though is it. I share things with Blaine, like you share things with Leon and Kieran!"
"It's not the same!"
"Why?"
"Because Blaine's gay!"
"And that makes the situation different?!" said Kelsey, crossly as she started to pace the room "I literally cannot believe you just said that Darren! What difference does Blaine's sexuality make?"
"It... it doesn't... I guess" said Darren; he looked down ashamed at himself.
"No it doesn't! I'm going to sleep out there, come get me when you've grown up" she stormed out of the bedroom.
"No, Baby... please don't go" Darren called after her, but she'd already left the room.
Kelsey walked over to the couch and sat down angrily. Darren had no right to say that she couldn't talk to Blaine when he did the exact same with his friends in the mail room. He was being completely unreasonable. Blaine poked his head around his door, he'd been woken by the shouting, he saw his best friend sat on the couch with her head in her hands and he crept out to join her, to comfort his friend.
"I don't want to talk to you right now Darren!" she shouted..
"Woah, woah, woah" said Blaine, holding his hands up defensively "Not Darren, it's your Blainey Days"
"Sorry Blaine..." she said looking up at him, her eyes slightly reddened "I thought you were Darren"
"I figured... what happened?"
"We just had a bit of a fight, you know because I tell you everything and he didn't like that much."
"Oh hun... I'm sorry" He put his arm around her. "Do you wanna talk about it?"
"Um, there's not really much to talk about... Bee"
"Do you wanna watch 'Singing in the Rain'? Or Grey's? We can stare at Doctor McDreamy"
"Ooh Grey's sounds nice..."
"And I'll make my cocoa and you can tell me all about that rock on your finger"
"Oh..." she looked guilty "sorry Bee"
"Its fine Peanut... but I do want that story..." he smiled brightly glad of the distraction.
"Yeah..."
Blaine made his speciality cocoa and the two of them sat and Kelsey recounted the impromptu engagement, the made faint plans of the wedding, describing the cake, the flower arrangements, colour scheme, her dress...They were so caught up in planning that they didn't notice Darren stood in the doorway to his bedroom, smiling a little. It was nice that they were close and, it meant that Blaine was happy and that he had the much needed support that he'll need more than ever now.
"Um hey" he said
Kelsey turned and looked at him. His eyes were red and pleading. He walked over and sat on the other side of her to Blaine. He took her hand and looked in her eyes.
"Kels, Darling... I'm sorry... I really am I overreacted" said Darren "I am a stupid idiot, I sometimes forget my filter and I say stupid things... but the thing I know even more than that is that I love you and I don't care if you talk to Blaine about us... I guess it healthy and helpful and not much different from when I used to talk to Blaine about you before we dated. So I guess I can't complain really... I am really sorry, can you forgive this idiot?"
Kelsey smiled softly. "Yes of course... you may be an idiot but you're my idiot"
She leaned in and kissed him softly, he kissed her back softly but passionately. Kelsey pushed him back against the couch as she kissed him, sucking on his lower lip hands roaming up his chest.
"Aww" Blaine sighed, smiling; hiding the pain in his eyes "You two are too cute..."
~~~
Meanwhile

Tobias sat in his own apartment; he hadn't stayed there in months. Blaine never asked him officially to move in but he practically had, he had his decent clothes there- not that he cared anymore- All his hair products were there- not like it mattered now. He lay curled up on his bed regretting that night more and more. He shouldn't have treated Blaine like that... after everything he's been through. He tried to gather the strength to go collect the items, but in doing so that would mean that it was officially over... that he'd have officially lost Blaine- and he couldn't handle that.

He got up, wrapped the duvet around him and shuffled to the kitchen to get himself a drink and some food. He walked across the living room slowly, hoping that Chris wouldn't notice. Chris was his best friend, he worked at the bar with Tobias, and they'd been friends for years. He was sat on the couch watching 'Orange is the New Black' on Netflix; he had short spikey brown hair with amazing blue eyes. He was a stocky lad with a round face.

"It liiiiiiivves" he said rather over dramatically.

"Fuck off Christopher." Tobias snapped

"Woah. Language... I mean I know you're going through a break up an all but that's no way to be talking mister" Chris reprimanded.

"Fuck off!" he said again

"Toby..."

"That's a hat trick... Fuck off..."Tobias Yelled, Chris looked defeated, Tobias felt bad

"Sorry Chris..." he added after a few moments.

"It's okay... I know he meant a lot to you... I shouldn't have said anything... I'm just a little worried you have barely left your room in two days"

"I just don't feel like doing anything... he was everything, looking after him making sure he was okay and felt safe and was happy. Holding him and cheering him up on bad days, days where he was terrified to even leave the house. It might seem sad and pathetic but he was my life... we talked every day and now... now it's like I'm missing a piece of myself... he was a part on me I never knew I was missing"

"I know, Toby... I know"

A few days went by. Tobias grew more and more of a hermit he was missing shifts at work, rarely got out of bed, never shaved or showered and just laid around watching Dirty Dancing, singing and sobbing along- loudly. He didn't want to do anything at all except cry... he just wished the pain would stop. That he could be over Blaine or better still that he'd wake up and this whole mess was a dream, he'd wake up in Blaine's arms and be happy; but every time he closed his eyes he saw Blaine's face after he'd slapped him, the fear, the pain...he could see the anger and upset in his eyes when Blaine dumped him.

"What's the point?" Tobias said, to no-one in particular, as he lay on the floor after watching 'Dirty Dancing' for the fifth time that day. "Really what is the point in being alive? Like there's nothing left for me"

"Okay... you need to snap out of this right now" Chris said, switching off the television and sitting in front of Tobias "Look I know you only just broke up a week ago but it's not the end of the world. I know you loved him but your life doesn't just end because your relationship does!"

Tobias just stared at Chris; he couldn't believe he just said that. Chris was supposed to be his best friend, he was supposed to support him, and be a confidant. Instead he was yelling at him... telling him he was being ridiculous and to man up.

"You're supposed to be my friend Chris! You're supposed to be kind and supportive and tell me it will be okay"

"I am being friend. You need to snap out of this. Stand up and face the fact that you and him are over. You haven't tried to contact him-"

"He wouldn't want me to" Tobias interjected but Chris continued to talk

"If you wanted to make this better you would have at least tried! But you haven't. So now you need to get your sorry self showered and dressed and go get your bloody things so the pair of you can move the fuck on. It is not healthy for you to be wallowing in self-pity. I know it hurts and that you don't want it to be over, but it is... If it was supposed to be more it would have been... Just be grateful that it happened. That you got to spend that time with him, to be that close to someone... to help him through the darkness..."

Tobias sat up and stared at Chris he knew he was right... He knew that he needed to start to move on but it was hard, he still loved Blaine more than ever. He missed him and everything about him...

"Yeah you're right..." Tobias said standing up "I should... I just don't want it to be over... I still love him"

"I know you do... Toby"

He got up, dressed and gathered up the few possessions that Blaine had left in his apartment. Before heading over to Blaine's his heart heavy he knew it was going to hurt like hell to see him again. But he had to take the first steps to get over him... and that started with getting his stuff and returning some his. On his way he practiced what he was going to say.
