"Hi" he breathed out, looking into Blaine's happy, hazel eyes. "Hi Kurt, how was work?" he asked in his usual cheery voice. "Work was alright, I had to report a bullying incident to the head of English though" he replied, scanning the glass cases that held all the delicious cakes and donuts. "Oh wow, that's horrible" the shorter man replied, his forehead creased with worry as he began to make Kurt's non-fat mocha. Sarah, a dark haired girl had taken over the register and sent Blaine a knowing look, he had always enjoyed making Kurt’s coffee himself.
Kurt sat quietly at a small table that was closer to the door this time, the coffee shop was busy on this warm Monday afternoon and his normal table was currently occupied by a couple that were practically eye fucking each other across the small distance between then, he wrinkled his nose and turned to focus on Blaine's face as he laughed at something Sarah had said. It wasn't long before Blaine had brought his coffee over, along with a small cinnamon donut. "Sorry, there were no chocolate ones left" he had shot Kurt a small smile before jogging back over to his station and serving the other waiting customers.
Kurt had been at the Coffee shop for a little over an hour when Blaine came and sat in the chair across from him. "Hey" Kurt said with a smile, "are you off now?" he questioned, sipping the last of his coffee out of the takeaway cup. "Yeah" Blaine said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck. He seemed nervous and Kurt wondered why. "You okay?" he questioned, startling Blaine as he broke the silence.
"Oh yeah, fine, I'm just nervous." Blaine mumbled, becoming very interested in the smooth granite of the table top. Kurt cocked his head to one side, his brows furrowing in confusion "why is that?" he asked quietly, looking up at Blaine. "I- uh, I was wondering if I could take you out somewhere tonight?" Blaine mumbled, barely audible. The taller man had to bite his lip to stop from gasping. "Y-yes" he replied, stuttering a bit "that would be nice" he finished with a small smile.
"Okay! I'll call you later, Kurt" Blaine exclaimed, grinning like an idiot before walking away with a small wave, leaving Kurt looking like a bashful school boy.

(After Kurt left the coffee shop) Blaine's POV:
Blaine was pretty sure that he was grinning like an idiot by now, he hadn't even thought that Kurt liked him, but His best friend Jeff had told him the night before that he should just ask Kurt out on a date and see where everything goes from there, and Blaine was so glad that he did. He had been so nervous the whole day, his stomach had been so full of butterflies he thought it might burst.
But all that matters was that Kurt had agreed. "Oh shit" Blaine mumbled to himself as he sat inside his small studio apartment that he shared with Jeff, he had no idea on where to take Kurt on their date, he needed Jeff’s help and he needed it now. He stood up off the couch, stretching quickly before racing down the hall to Jeff’s room, there was music thumping from the inside so he could tell that the blonde boy was definitely in there, and thankfully there was no sock on the door so he was safe to go inside.
He knocked on the door, tapping his fingers impatiently against his thigh as he waited for Jeff to open it. Suddenly the door popped open and Jeff's concerned face appeared in front of him. "What’s up B?" He said quietly, opening the door a bit more so that Blaine could come inside. They both walked over and sat on Jeff's messy bed. "I uh, I'm having a bit of a crisis" the curly haired man mumbled, ducking his head as the older boy chuckled "What type of crisis?" He questioned.
"A Kurt crisis" Blaine stated clearly, as if there was absolutely nothing wrong with that statement, Jeff doubled over laughing almost immediately. It was about 5 minutes before the blonde boy had finished his laughing fit and was wiping the tears away from the corner of his eyes, he straightened up and turned to face Blaine. "So let me get this straight" He said, looking right into the curly haired man's eyes, "you are having a crisis, one that involves Kurt...That teacher that comes to your coffee shop?"
"YES!" Blaine basically screamed, running his fingers through his hair, "I don't know where to take him for our date that's in 3 hours...” he mumbled, placing his head in his hands. He had texted Kurt earlier and asked for his address, the brunette had instantly replied and Blaine had told him that he would pick him up when he was ready, Kurt had agreed and told Blaine that he was looking forward to seeing him, that made Blaine's insides twist into knots and butterflies fill him again.
"Just take him to that small Italian restaurant down the road from his school, if he works at the school he must live close by, right?" Jeff said as if it was the most obvious thing in the whole world, Blaine fist pumped the air and leaned over, hugging the blonde man tightly before racing off his bed and out the door "OH GOD I'VE GOT TO GET READY!”

(Back to normal POV aka switching from Blaine to Kurt)
2 hours later and Blaine was standing outside of Kurt's apartment door, bouquet of pink & yellow daisies in hand. He reached up and fiddled with his plain black Bowtie and smoothed down his pale blue button up shirt, the sleeves were rolled up at the elbows, and to top it all off he was wearing jeans that cut off just above his ankles. Reaching out a shaking hand, he knocked on Kurt's door twice, a faint "I'm coming!" sounded from inside the apartment before the door opened to reveal a very handsome looking Kurt.
"Wow" Kurt breathed out, Blaine looked absolutely amazing and very adorable. The shorter man held out a small bouquet of daisies and he reached out and grabbed it off him, bringing it to his nose and sniffing softly. He turned around and placed them in the vase next to his front door, turning back to facing Blaine and placing a tentative hand on his shoulder, "You shouldn't have" he mumbled, letting his hand slide down the other mans arm until he reached his fingers, he grasped Blaine's hand in his own and blushed.
Blaine also blushed a soft pink when Kurt grasped his hand, he squeezed back gently before tugging on it so the other man walked out of his doorway, closing the door behind him with a soft click. "Come on, let’s get to our date!" Blaine said enthusiastically, the other man chuckled lighting, looping his arm through Blaine's so that they were locked at the elbows as they walked towards the car.

very cute story. you invite corrections so i thouht i should mention that there are no 'rooms' in a studio apartment. a studio, is one living space with a kitchen(ette) and a bathroom.
Thanks! Yeah I'm sorry about that.. I'm kinda sick right now and tired so I've been messing up a lot of things, but I'll make sure to fix that up in the future! Thank you for your feedback c:
