Author's Notes: FINALLY FINISHED IT! I wrote about 1000 words of this chapter at school during maths because i had a strike of imagination!
It was now Monday morning and Kurt was absolutely exhausted. He hadn't had a chance to see Blaine since that Friday afternoon where they had sat together while he graded papers because Mercedes had invited him to a small get together with some of her new 'friends' that she had met while settling in to her new apartment. But it hadn't turned out to be very small at all, there had been alcohol everywhere and pretty much everyone had at least got a little tipsy, and Kurt was one of those people.

When he had entered the party in Mercedes's new apartment, it was absolutely full to the brim with people that he didn't know. Mercedes was sitting in one corner, a bottle of vodka in one hand and some guy's ass in the other. He wrinkled his nose and made a bee-line to the kitchen, because that was the most unpopulated area of the house. He ducked his head while walking past all the girls and boys who were grinding against each other to the slow beat of the music, not really wanting to see that happening, until he finally got into the kitchen.

He sat on top of one of the benches and looked around, there was a small ice box in the corner that had at least 5 beers in it. Kurt reached down and grabbed one, cracking it open and taking a few sips before setting it back down on the counter. About an hour later Kurt was onto his second beer, he was pretty tipsy by now because he had always been a light weight, he chugged the whole bottle before leaving the kitchen and waddling to the living room, where he started dancing like no one was watching.
He woke up Monday morning with a hell of a hangover,
wishing that he didn't have work today.

He got out of bed and stumbled to the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water and some ibuprofen, popping the pills into his mouth and downing the whole glass of water in one go. His headache started to fade a bit but the soft thumping was still present in the back of his head. He slipped on a light blue button up shirt matched with a navy blazer and some grey slacks. Kurt walked over to his mirror and looked himself over, nodding and smirking at his reflection before walking out into his front room, mentally preparing himself before walking out the front door.

It was still a bit too early to arrive at that school yet, so Kurt walked up to the door of The Grande Spot and peered through the glass door, Blaine was sat at the register like always. His dark curls lying softly on his forehead as he chatted with one of the elderly ladies who was waiting for her coffee. He sucked in a short breath before pushing open the door, the little bell jingled above him and Blaine's head shot up to see who had just entered. Kurt saw a grin appear on his face and he excused himself from the elderly lady who he had been talking to before half running, half walking to where Kurt was standing as stiff as a board.

"Kurt!" he exclaimed, his curls bouncing softly when he came to a halt in front of Kurt. "I didn't think you would come again" he said in almost a shy manner, placing one of his hands on Kurt's forearm. The pale man blushed, remembering how they had a 'date' that wasn't really a date.

He mustered up all his courage before replying,
"Well Of course I would come back, we have a date remember!" he finished off speaking with a wink and saw a small blush appear on the apples of Blaine's cheeks as they moved over to the table and sat down. "oh yeah, I forgot about that" Blaine admitted sheepishly, Kurt couldn't help feel a little bit disappointed at that, Blaine had been the one to arrange their 'date' and he had already forgotten? Maybe Blaine didn't actually like Kurt at all, maybe he did only think of him as just a customer. "Oh" Kurt mumbled, trying his hardest to keep the sadness out of his voice.

Blaine was immediately worried when he heard the tone of Kurt's voice, he quickly moved out of his chair and stood next to Kurt, placing his hand on the other mans chin so he would look at him. "Kurt" he said sternly, looking the brunette in the eye, "I would never forget about you, even though we just met a week ago, you are one of my favorite customers, okay?" Kurt honestly felt like crying out of relief, Blaine did like him, and he was Blaine’s favorite customer!

"Okay" Kurt said with a nod, "I believe you." Blaine grinned at him and patted his shoulder softly, "well" he said, stretching his arms above his head and showing off a small patch of golden skin. "If we are going to have this date, I may as well go get our coffees!" he shot Kurt one last dazzling smile before sauntering off to the coffee machine.

They had sat in the booth together just talking about anything that came to mind, Blaine had been let off early because he had been bragging to the other staff members about how he and Kurt were going to be having a coffee date when he got off work, but that would have been at least an hour and a half away, so they had let him off there and then.

It was around 7:15am when Kurt had to leave. "I'm sorry Blaine but I got to go, work is calling my name" he smiled and touched a hand to his wrist where the bracelet Stacey had given to him was sitting nicely. "Well before you go," Blaine said quietly "I was wondering of you would like to go on a real date with me?" Blaine had a hopeful look in his eyes as he peered up at Kurt through his lashes, waiting for him to reply.

"I- ok" Kurt replied, he was blushing like mad by now but he couldn't help it. Blaine, the gorgeous, curly haired man from the coffee shop had just asked him, on a date, a freaking date! He calmed his inner monologue down and looked back to Blaine, he was grinning like an idiot at Kurt, and he was sure to be doing the exact same thing back. "hey I just met you-u-u, and this is craz-y, but here's my number, so call me maybe" Kurt singsonged, passing Blaine a napkin with his number on it before winking at him and walking out of the coffee shop.

----------------------------------------------------------

Kurt locked his car and went on his way towards the gates of the school, opening them with a small creak and walking towards the front office where he had to present his lesson plans for the day to the head of the English department. He walked down the deserted hallway of the small building, his shoes making a faint clicking sound with every step he took. He finally reached the door that read 'Mrs Tanita, HEAD OF ENGLISH" right in the middle of it, he reached out a hand and knocked twice. He could hear a faint call of "Just a minute!" before a petite lady with light pink hair opened the door, "Hi!" She exclaimed excitedly "I'm guessing you are Kurt?" he nodded his head in reply and she ushered him inside.

Her office didn't look much like an office, it was very bright and colorful and the walls were all covered in drawings that must have been done by the students who attended the school. "Please, sit" She said in a happy voice, he sat down and placed his folder on the desk, sliding it over to her so she could look over his lesson plan. She hummed softly while looking over it, her dark green eyes scanning every page quickly before turning them. She was a very fast reader and in less than 15 minutes she was all done. "I approve!" She beamed at him, sliding his folder back across the desk. "You may leave now! Come and find me if you have any trouble!" she shouted at him as he left her office.

He was in his new classroom, waiting for the bell that signalled first class to ring when his phone buzzed in his pocket, wondering who it might be he picked it up and couldn't help the grin that formed on his face. The text had said 'I know you said call, but just in case you were teaching your wonderful bundle of 8 year olds, I thought it would be safer to text you instead' he thought for a few minutes, trying to find something witty to reply with, but he ended up only texting back, 'The bell is about to ring, so good choice sir"

The bell rang shortly after he sent the text message and he couldn't help the smile that spread across his face when all the small kids waddled in with their over-sized backpacks, it was going to be a fun day. Before he even knew it, the last bell of the day rung and he said goodbye to all the smiling faces of his class, but then Stacey came up to him looking a bit shy. He bent down so his face was level with hers, "What’s up, Stacey?" He questioned, waiting patiently for her to say something.

"I-I, uh, do you know that boy Jimmy?" she said in a small voice, looking up at him. "Yes I do, what about him?" He replied with a worried expression on his face, wondering what she needed to tell him. "He-he pushed me over in the playground an-and he called me stupid for making you a bracelet" she mumbled, barely audible but Kurt was able to catch it. His face softened and he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Sweetheart, you are not stupid, okay? I want you to come to me if he ever does anything to you ever again." She nodded and smiled up at him, "thanks Mr Kurt!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together before waddling out the door of the classroom.

Kurt hadn't expected a girl like Stacey to be getting bullied, and Kurt couldn't help but think that he had been the reason it happened. He walked down the hall and went straight to the head of English, knocking on her door and waiting. She opened the door and looked at him with concern, "Kurt, come in" She said quietly, worry lines evident on her forehead. He sat down across from her at the desk and started to talk.

"Mrs Tanita-" he started before she cut him off, "please darling, call me Brooke" she smiled at him before gesturing for that he should continue. "Brooke, do you know a little girl named Stacey Hames in my class?" She nodded, so he continued "she came to my after class today and reported a bullying incident. Jimmy Ramani pushed her over in the play ground and called her stupid because she gave me one of her bracelets" He sat silently with his hands clasped in front of him as Brooke thought of what to say.

"Well Kurt, I'm glad you came and told me. I will try and get this sorted as soon as possible" She smiled at him in reassurance, he smiled back and stood up "Thank you, Brooke" she saluted him with a grin before he walked out of her office and out to the front gates of the school, getting in his car and driving straight to the coffee shop to see Blaine.

End Notes: I hope you enjoyed it! don't forget to review or hit me up on my tumblr (which is now papergaga) if you have anything you wanna ask/or wanna tell me! thanks again :)

why do i feel like two things are gonna happen? 1. mrs tanita isn't going to do anything to resolve the bullying issue 2. mrs tanita has or will have a crush on kurt gotta love inspiration, but shouldn't you be studying maths in maths class? :)

1. 'cause that's whats happened, she hasn't done anything about it~ there will be follow up on this in the next chapter!2. Hmm... We'll have to see about that one ;).GAH! I forgot he was teaching Maths, I'm stupid sometimes... Just pretend he was filling in for someone, okay? ;)
