Mr. Alberts must have given Finn Blaine’s contact information because soon after he agreed to tutor the quarterback Blaine received a text from him, they arranged to meet outside of the choir room as soon as glee ended for the day and Blaine would tutor Finn at Finn’s house. Blaine was already nervous about having to talk to the one of the most well-known guys in school, he couldn’t handle running into Kurt as well so he waited around the corner where he could see the door of the choir room and waited until Kurt left before he approached Finn. They drove to Finn’s house in silence; about halfway there Blaine remembered hearing something about Finn running over a mailman and shifted in his seat getting even more nervous.
“Are you ok man? You’re white as a ghost.” Finn asked
“Huh? Yeah I’m fine.” Blaine lied.
They pulled into the driveway of Finn’s house.
“So my mom and Burt are still at work but if you are hungry I might be able convince my brother to make you something to eat.” Finn told Blaine.
“Um. No, I’m fine.” Blaine said having eaten a granola bar when he was waiting to meet Finn.
“Ok. But if you change your mind let me know.”
The two boys sat down at the dining room table and Blaine looked over some of Finn’s old tests and assignments to see if he could figure out what was giving him trouble.
“Ok, so let’s start from the beginning shall we? It looks like that’s where you first got confused.” Blaine said opening Finn’s text book to the first page. He explained to Finn how to properly do the problems in that chapter and explained how that was different from what Finn had done and then let Finn try a few of the problems on his own.”
“So, are you new? I’ve never seen you around.” Finn asked suddenly.
“Finn, you idiot, he’s been going to the same school as us for our whole lives.” Kurt said coming into the room. Blaine looked shocked.
“Hi Blaine.” Kurt smiled.
“H-hi Kurt.” Blaine stammered.
“Did my moronic brother offer you anything to eat?” Kurt asked.
“Ok I’m not sure what moronic means but I don’t think that was very nice.” Finn protested, “And yes I did.”
“I didn’t know you two were brothers.” Blaine said stupidly.
“Well we’re technically step-brothers and it’s fairly new but yeah.” Kurt said.
“Umm...I think I need to go now. ” Blaine said lamely. The other two boys looked at him strangely.
“Oh thank god. No offence dude but there’s only so much math I can take in a day.” Finn exclaimed jumping up and calling Rachel or Quinn or whoever it was he was dating at the moment.
“I still need a ride though.” Blaine said quietly as Finn left the room.
“He drove you here?” Kurt asked, Blaine nodded.
“I’ll give you a ride home, unless you’d rather I didn’t?” Kurt asked biting his lip nervously.
“Um, that would be great actually.” Blaine agreed his heart pounding at the thought of being alone with Kurt.
As they drove Blaine noticed a spot on his glasses as he cleaned them he realised that Kurt didn’t know where to drive, so he turned to face Kurt as give him some directions.
“You have nice eyes.” Kurt said suddenly. “Shit, I’m not hitting on you I’m just saying you should consider getting contacts.”
“I didn’t think you were hitting on me.” Blaine said.
“Good.”
As soon as Kurt dropped Blaine off at his house Blaine borrowed his dad’s car and went to one of those one hour glasses places and got fitted for contacts.
