"That was so hot." Kurt told Blaine later as they sat at Blaine's usual table at his favorite lunch spot. "The way you stood up for our relationship to her."

"I didn't say anything I didn't mean."

"Good because I plan to be you for a long time to come as well."

"Are you sure it wasn't too much? I didn't scare you implying we could maybe get married one day."

"No because you didn't say we definitely were you just basically said it could happen, I'm glad to know marriage is an option down the road."

"Ok, are you worried that we're moving too fast? Emotionally, I mean."

"I don't know maybe we are but at that same time it's not like we just met, we've known each other for quite a while and I don't know maybe it would be too soon to have this kind of conversation for most couples, god knows I never had it with my ex and we were together for over a year, but it just feels right for us, don't you think?" Kurt said reaching across the table and taking Blaine's hand.

"I do."

"Good. Now hurry up and finish your lunch we need to get back to work soon."

When they got back to work Blaine placed his hand on Kurt's lower back and guided him to the testing room when they got there Blaine swiped his key card to open the security door and then led Kurt to his locker.

"You need to remove any loose clothing and jewelry." Blaine told Kurt as he removed his own bowtie.

"But the ensemble." Kurt protested gesturing to his outfit.

"Sorry baby, it's a safety thing...did I just call you baby?"

"You did."

"Is that ok?"

"It really is."

"Ok good, so yeah it's a safety issue besides I have other accessories for you to wear." Blaine said holding up a white lab coat and a pair of goggles.

"One those are not exactly fashionable and two we're just playing with toys here Blaine, why is all this necessary?"

"We're playing with toys scientifically and it is company protocol to wear this stuff."

"Fine...those aren't communal goggles are they?"

"No, they're my spare set, never worn by anybody but me."

"Ok."

Both men slipped on a lab coat and the goggles before Blaine showed the way to the actual testing room.

"So what are we....?" Kurt started to ask before spotting a pink plane with flowers on it. "No way! I asked the production department to make it pink with flowers and they told me no."

"Who did you ask?"

"Tim."

"Oh yeah Tim is kinda uptight, you want something cool done ask Artie."

"Artie?"

"Yeah, he's a pretty good guy."

"His last name wouldn't be Abrams would it?"

"Umm...I think so."

"Well shit, I didn't know he was working here let alone in New York." Kurt said "We were in glee together in high school. God, I'll have to stop by production later and say hi. It's rather sad how little face to face interaction there is here isn't it? I mean, god, how long did you and I work on projects together before we even saw each other?"

"I know what you mean I worked here for like six months before I realised my friend Wes works in the legal department here, but I think that's what the company picnic is for, I mean not to catch up with friends you didn't know worked here but to actually meet your co-workers to put faces with the email addresses but yeah I definitely think the company would be better off if we had more face to face interactions with other departments."

"This is a friend that you see often?" Kurt asked.

Blaine nodded.

"Then how did you not know where he worked?"

"I mean I knew he worked in the legal department of a toy company...I just didn't know it was this one. You're not really one to talk though, you didn't know Artie works here."

"I haven't actually spoken to Artie in quite a while, yeah we were in glee club together but we were really never that close and I kinda lost touch with most of them after Finn died." Kurt cleared his throat and then clapped his hands."Ok. Time to get down to business, do I just start playing or do you have to run tests first?"

"First we see if it does what it supposed to do then we run tests."

"So first we play?"

"First we play."

Kurt picked up the remote and began to fly the toy plane around the room, making it smaller had definitely improved the toy as it now actually flew.

"Ok, you might want to ease up on the accelerator a little there." Blaine said ducking as the plane flew towards his head.

"Sorry." Kurt apologized he didn't actually slow the plane down but he did do a better job of not almost hitting his boyfriend with it.

"I think it works pretty well." Blaine said watching the plane.

"Yup." Kurt agreed as he zoomed the plane around the room.

"Crash it."

"What?"

"Crash the plane."

"It might break."

"That's the point."

"I don't want it to break, it's so cute."

"It is but we need to make sure it can withstand being played with by kids and kids crash toy planes."

"So just crash it into the wall?"

"The wall, the floor, either one is fine."

Kurt slowed the plane down and flew it into the wall.

"Ok, so we know it can withstand very slow speed crashes, let's try a little faster now." Blaine said coming up behind Kurt and wrapping his arms around his so that his hands were on the remote as well. Together they crashed the plane at a medium speed, the speed most kids would fly the plane when their parents were watching.

"Now I need to go check it." Blaine said removing himself from around Kurt, letting his hand brush against Kurt's back before he walked over to pick up the plane. Kurt watched as his boyfriend carefully inspected the toy.

"It looks good, no broken off pieces or cracks." Blaine told Kurt.

"So now we crash it at a high speed?" Kurt asked.

"Yup, do you think you can handle that?"

"I'm pretty sure I need your help." Kurt said wanting Blaine's arms around him again. Blaine smiled as he retook his former position. The crash at the speed most kids would fly it at when their parents weren't around took its toll on the plane. Blaine made a few notes on his clipboard.

"Is it completely trashed?" Kurt asked.

"Nah, a bit of crazy glue and it would be good to go again."

"Do I have to rework the design?"

Blaine shook his head. "No, it actually stood up to the crash pretty well. Yeah it broke but It's repairable the toys we send back to be redesigned are the ones that completely shattered upon impact."

"Ok, so now what?"

"Now we check to see if it will still fly and then I have to do a bunch of boring tests which you don't have to stick around for if you don't want."

"Are you kicking me out?"

"Never."

"Ok, so show me these boring tests."
