The boys left the therapist’s office hand in hand and walked to the subway station.
“I still think I should pay for half of it Blaine.”
“I know but I told you not to worry about it.”
“I just don’t think it’s fair for you to pay the whole thing.”
“Baby, I’m not paying for it.”
“You aren’t?”
“No my parents are, they insisted.”
“I thought they hated me.”
“Apparently they don’t. They said they always thought you were a delightful young man and they were very happy to hear we were back together.”
“Then why did they act so hateful towards me?”
“I asked that and they said it was because they didn’t like how much attention we drew to ourselves while living in such a homophobic town.”
“Part of me doesn’t believe it but then why would they pay for our couple’s counselling if they didn’t mean it? And both of your parents know about this? It isn’t just you mom?”
“Dad is the one who offered to pay, he didn’t gush like mom did and I’m not sure he is 100% ok with me being gay but I think he’s trying to be.”
“Good.”
“Remind me when we get back to my place to write down all my passwords for you.”
“You don’t have to do that.”
“No, I do Dr. White said having them could help ease your mind and it really doesn’t bother me for you to have them. I really don’t have anything to hide from you.”
“I won’t ever check your email or Facebook or anything.”
“I think you should, at least once, just to prove to yourself that I’m not hiding anything.”
They got on their train, and saw there was only one seat. Blaine sat in it and pulled Kurt on his lap. Kurt wasn’t sure that sitting on his boyfriend’s lap on a crowded subway car was the best idea.
“Relax baby, nobody cares.” Blaine told him
“That woman is looking at us.” Kurt replied gesturing with his head to the woman sitting next to them.
“Sorry, I just think it’s so nice to see people in love.” She explained smiling sweetly.
Kurt smiled and visibility relaxed.
They reached Blaine’s apartment and Blaine handed Kurt his phone. “Here look through it while I write down the rest of my passwords for you.”
Kurt didn’t really want to but he knew it would make both himself and Blaine feel more comfortable if he did.
“What’s your passcode?”
“It’s Kurt.”
“Your passcode is my name? That’s kinda sweet.”
Blaine shrugged.
“Who’s Steve Rogers?” Kurt asked looking at Blaine’s contacts.
“Oh, it’s Cooper, apparently he’s too famous for me to have his real name listed in my contacts so he made put in an alias. You can call him if you want.”
“Why does that name sound familiar?”
“It’s Captain America’s real name.”
“Of course it is.”
“He feels that he should’ve been Captain America, apparently he auditioned for the role or tried to audition or walked past the building that the auditions were held in or something.”
Kurt shook his head and laughed.
“You don’t have Sebastian in here.”
“No I deleted him after the slushie incident.”
“Of course, I almost forgot how you jumped in front of that slushie for me.”
Blaine shrugged, “I did what I had to do to protect you.”
“If you had known it wasn’t a normal slushie would you have still jumped in front of it?’
“Of course I would have. I’d much rather get hurt myself than let you get injured.”
“I really wish I could say those words to you right now.”
Blaine kissed Kurt. “It’s ok baby, you’ll say them to me again sooner or later.”
“Hopefully sooner.”
Kurt went back to looking through Blaine’s phone.
“You really don’t text all that much do you?”
“Not really, I’m usually too focused on school. Speaking of which, do you want to have dinner before our evening classes?”
“Yeah, let’s order in some Chinese.”
“Sounds good, you’re either going to have to call or give me back my phone for a minute.”
Kurt laughed and handed Blaine back his phone, when Blaine was done ordering the food he handed his phone back to Kurt.
“That’s a cute photo.” Kurt said holding up Blaine’s phone to show him the one he was talking about, it was one that Blaine had taken of himself when he first got his phone and was playing around with the camera.
“I didn’t even though it was still on there.”
“I’m going to send it to myself.” Kurt said smiling, “It’s going to be my new background.”
Kurt finished going through Blaine’s phone and handed it back to him.
“Here are all my passwords.” Blaine said handing Kurt a piece of paper.
“Ok but I really don’t want to look though anything else tonight, invading you privacy is tiring and I’ve had enough for a couple days.”
“It’s not invading my privacy if I’m aware of doing it and giving you my permission.”
“Technicalities. Want to make out until the food gets here?”
“Like you even have to ask.”
Comments
This chapter was awesome, especially the part about Cooper.
