“I didn’t even want to come over. It was their idea.” Blaine answered. He wasn’t upset about the silent treatment, not anymore. “I’ll stay five minutes before leaving.”
He sat down to the chair and looked around the room. His father was staring at his computer but Blaine was very well aware the fact that he wasn’t working.
“Do you really don’t want to see me that much?” he asked his father, not looking at him. “You didn’t even come down for dinner.” There was no reply and Blaine glanced to his father, who was sitting with eyes closed and apparently he was immersed in whatever music it was in his headphones. Blaine sighed and checked his watch to see that he still had more than four minutes before leaving.
Finally, he could leave, but somehow the women of his family were acting strangely now as well. He was sitting with his mother and grandmother in the living room and he was eating oranges but they kept staring at him.
“What is it?” he asked smiling a bit. He felt like a child who was in trouble but he didn’t have an idea why. “You’re looking really satisfied with yourself. You are spending my money without care and having fun, playing around for five years now! ”
His grandmother was scolding him, which was not a good new thing, so Blaine kept smiling and replied: “Now, I feel like home again. I’ve missed you speaking to me like this!”
“Oh, you, don’t you dare using your flirting strategies with me!” Blaine was still smiling, as he was having fun. He knew that his grandmother cared about him deeply and he was used to all these talks.
“I let you learn business investment! I let you travel around the world, for God’s sake! And it’s not only that! You started working as a director as well and look at you now! You have six credit cards, and still no job to keep! I’m fed up with your ways! You’ve promised me, you’d finish these things before you’re thirty!”
“I’m only twenty-nine.” Blaine added, interrupting the flow of words directed at him.
“A man should be established before thirty to form a family! Get married immediately! ” Blaine was silent for a moment and so was his grandmother. His mother was sitting beside her and was listening intently to the conversation but se said nothing, as usual.
“Should I go to a matchmaking date, then?” he asked finally. He had no girlfriend which could be a bit of a hindrance in getting married. He wasn’t keen on meeting girls his family thought was acceptable for him but he didn’t really have a choice anymore.
“Well, the girl should be really pretty. It’s not for me but for the sake of your great grandchildren.” he added cheekily.
Artie was riding his bike and Bailey, his dog was running next to him. Bailey was a golden retriever and she provided a very good reason for Artie to get out of his flat. Well, of course he had a job to do but apart from that, he rarely went out. Staying in the flat was not really good for him, though. Everything reminded her of Brittney, his previous girlfriend. Wherever he went he saw the shadow of the beautiful blond girl. He saw her fooling around, playing with the food, and getting masks on their face, lying in the sun together… The list was endless.
But Brit had left a year ago to be with Mike. She was a talented artist and Mike had promised to take her to Spain to assure her artistic growth. At least that was what she’d told him. But Artie had felt that it wasn’t the real reason. She had fallen in love with him and ran off with him to Spain leaving Artie heartbroken. His company was milking his heartbreak, though as the radios loved all those sad songs he created.
Kurt was riding his scooter, delivering pizzas. It was late at night and he was getting tired but he pushed the feeling aside. He tried to figure out, how to get more money – it was one of the things which were constantly in his mind. He couldn’t ask for his pay in advance – which boss would give that much money for someone working part-time only?
His thoughts were distracted as he saw another scooter overtaking him. He knew he did this to piss him off so he started following him. He sped up. The other guy took a couple of turns but Kurt was still following him. It was like playing tag and he enjoyed their little game and how light it made him feel.
The guy turned right and he was going uphill with Kurt still following him but not as closely as he wanted. Then, Kurt saw something: There was a slim girl leaning against his car, purse in her hands and the guy grabbed the purse as he drove in front of her causing her to fell on the street. Kurt went straight after the guy, who had to stop and turn his scooter in the middle of the street because there was a car blocking the way. Kurt got of his scooter letting it fall to the ground and he took of his helmet. The other guy wanted to drive past him so he did the only thing he could: he threw his helmet to the other who got knocked down to the street. He got over as quickly as he could and he tried to grab the purse.
“What are you thinking, you bastard!” he grumbled but then he saw the guy’s face: it was Finn. The huge but dumb guy, who he had fought before, was now lying on the street.
“It was for Quinn! I want to pay her music school’s fees! ” Kurt was taken aback so he loosened his grip on Finn who struggled and turned around, now lying on his back.
“Quinn? Why would you do that, if she is my girlfriend?” he asked. Well, that wasn’t true but there was no need for Finn to know that.
“She is my angel!” Finn struggled some more, and Kurt caught a glimpse of two people approaching them slowly. It was the girl, whose purse had been stolen and some curly haired guy helping him to walk as she was limping a bit.
“Grab the chance to run away when I release my hand!” he hissed to Finn suddenly. Okay, that might not have been his smartest move to make but he could let Finn suffer because of his sister’s school fees.
“What?” Finn really was dumb, so Kurt repeated the instructions: “Escape, you idiot! Get ready!” He pulled Finn up but he was still grabbing his T-shirt.
“How dare you think about robbing people?!” he said louder and then he let go of the T-shirt but Finn was still standing there, staring at him. “Come on! Push me and run!” Kurt hissed and Finn finally did as he was told. Kurt fell back, and then he got up quickly and ran after Finn shouting. He didn’t intend to follow him so he tripped and fell on purpose. He got up slowly and walked back to the couple. He snatched the purse from the ground and gave it back to the slim blonde girl. When he looked at the curly haired guy next to the girl an image flashed before his eyes. This was the guy he saw earlier when he was delivering the pizza. Damn, that guy was good looking! Kurt felt his face flush a bit and he turned away quickly as his eyes started to roam on his body. There was really no need to throw himself at an obviously straight guy. He stepped back to his scooter.
“Damn!” His scooter looked really bad. One of the mirrors was broken down and it wouldn’t start.
“It’s all because of me!” The blonde girl came closer. “No, it’s because it’s a piece of junk!” Kurt answered while he was still trying to work some voodoo magic and bring his scooter back to life – though it was really not working.
“You can send it to the service and then give me a call.” she said but then, the guy stepped in front of her blocking her movements so she couldn’t give him the card.
“Here.” He gave Kurt his own card instead. “Come on.” He put his arms around the girl to support her back to the car and the left Kurt to pick up the pieces of his scooter.

umm, I like the whole plot of the story, but Blaine seems like a douche. :s I've never seen the show you're referring to, so I guess I don't get much of it. I'm interested in seeing where this goes, but so far all I see is Blaine=self-absorbed rich whorish guy, and Kurt=nice, struggling, Kurt.
