Next Chapter for next Tuesday! :)
Andersons
Blaine sat in his brothers office, thinking about how to get Kurt to trust him. But then again, hell end up working with the porcelain boy which he was very excited about. He sat on the leather couch, finally snapping out of his thoughts when he noticed that Cooper was in a heated argument with someone on the phone; Cooper slammed the phone down and rubbed his temples. Blaine stood up and walked over to his brother to see what just happened.
“Coop?”
“Its nothing,” Cooper mumbled, sighing in frustration as he runs his fingers through his hair. “Just Isabelle Wright, asking around for the model photos and the fact that were supposed to merge a page within each of our own magazines.”
This is why Blaine didnt want to end up running a business, there is way to many stressful things that is going down. And besides, can you imagine him with a suit everyday for work? Talk about depression. Blaine wants to show off some of his clothing, and knowing that he took the opportunity in acting instead of business, like his father wanted, he ended up with a steady career and money that can support himself plus the fact that his brother is also one of the best companies out there in America so hes well known.
“Well, that sucks.”
“Yeah, anyways, Blaine,” Cooper looked at his brother, “when are you friends getting here? Im sure Isabelle would also want you guys hence why she called me and we had the minor argument...”
“Theyre getting here by tomorrow,” Blaine replied, walking around his brothers work-space. “We can do the photo-shoot by tomorrow afternoon,”
“You honestly could enter the business career,” Cooper joked, Blaine rolled his eyes and smiled. “Anyways, so tomorrow afternoon is set, Ill just email that to Kurt who should be sending that to the departments that would be needed for the shoot.” Cooper started typing out an email to send to Kurt, Blaine watched his brother before coming up with an idea.
“Coop, stop.”
“What? Why?”
“How about I go over and tell him?”
Cooper laughed, shaking his head. “Honestly, bro? I can legit just email it to him and hed get it straight away. You dont need to move,”
“No, I can do it.” Blaine insisted, he really wanted an excuse to speak to Kurt. “Or, I can call him in here and youd talk to him personally.”
“Blaine, you do know that I can call him up,”
“Jesus fucking christ,” Blaine swore, rolling his eyes. “Coop! I said Id do it, how about this? If I dont come back after five you can send the email, give me an hour and thirty minutes to find him and tell him.”
“Okay, will you tell him everything or ask him to come here?”
“Uh... come here?”
“Okay.”
Blaines eyes lit up and nodded, turning away and dashing out the door to find the beautiful porcelain man. Cooper chuckled, knowing very well what his little brother was trying to do- damn that kid.
Blaine walked around the twenty-fifth floor, stopping to ask at least eight people where the beautiful boy is and if theyve seen him. He went to the staff-room, finding that Kurt had actually left the building for an emergency so when he went back to Cooper to report it, Cooper laughed and said that he knew that Kurt wasnt in the building but Blaine had insisted that he go deliver the message so Cooper had let him be.
Blaine rolled his eyes, grabbing his brothers liquor that sat in the corner of the room and poured himself a glass. Blaine isnt an alcoholic, in fact, hes far from it. The way he set himself was that he would drink one drink for the night which also means that there would be a need of alcohol presented within the environment around him; unless its an after party or a celebration then Blaine would go insane.
“I sense that you are quite fond of my little PA,” Cooper commented as he read through stacks of papers, his eyes not meeting his brother who had turned to him for the conversation. Cooper flipped through to the next page, grabbing a red pen and writing down something- he legit looked like a teacher, right then and there.
“I dont know what you mean brother,” Blaine replied, acting as if there was some sort of confusion he was facing making Cooper roll his eyes, putting the pen and paper down to keep himself from being distracted by his work so he can speak to his brother properly.
“Are you seriously trying to deny that you have feelings for my PA?”
“Yeah,” Blaine walked around the office, with one had occupied with a half glass of alcohol. “Im denying because I have no feelings towards him.”
“Hmm,”
“Anyways, Coop, I have to go.” Blaine announced, placing the glass on Coopers desk ignoring the sound of complaint. “I have to go and contact my friends.” Blaine smiled and walked off.
Cooper sighed as he was now alone in his office, getting to this part of his life was a bliss as he worked hard on it and now, he needs to do something about his brother. Sure, people will say that Cooper doesnt have a girlfriend but in fact, he does- well, his girlfriends background is kind of different than the rest. Hes not ashamed of her, he loves her very much but he didnt feel like announcing it publicly will make any difference; plus, its their lives and if they wanna keep it to themselves then they could. If someone does see him in public with her and they ask, Cooper would tell the straight up truth. He wants the love of his life to shine as bright as the stars above because hell show her how much he loves her, he will but first, shed have to feel comfortable with being public.
With him being in love with the girl of his dreams for over nine months, he noticed his brothers behaviour very quickly. Blaine may not agree with what Cooper was saying but he can see how badly he likes Kurt and knowing what Kurt had gone through, thanks to Mr. Elliot Gilbert who called about six months ago and informed him what had recently happened to his PA, Cooper actually sees Kurt as a little brother as well minus the demands that he puts on the younger boy.
Cooper rubbed his temples before calling up his girlfriend, he waited until the line clicked after the fourth ring- meaning she was busy but still was able to talk to him.
“Hello?”
“Hey babe,”
“Hi, Cooper.” she spoke through the phone, Cooper could sense that she was smiling whilst she was walking around. “What can I do for you today?”
“Well you can keep talking because I missed your voice so much,” Cooper replied, smiling happily. “Ive been suffocating from that lack of contact with you.”
His mysterious girlfriend laughed at the cheesiness of her boyfriend, “Coop, we saw each other yesterday.”
“But yet, I feel like Im dying if Im so far away from you.” His answer made her giggle again, “Okay, fine, on a serious note- its Blaine.”
“Your brother?”
“Yeah,” Cooper sighed and mumbled, “He likes my PA and-”
“Do not meddle, Cooper.”
“But they-”
“Cooper.” She sternly replied, hushing Cooper completely. “Do not meddle. Hes your brother and Kurt is your PA, Im sure they can sort that thing out... If Blaine likes him then hell do everything to get Kurt to accept his emotions, its their life and they can solve it. Im sure you can just give advice to Blaine on how to Woo the beautiful man-”
“Hey, I thought I was your beautiful man.”
“No, youre my cuddle-bug.”
Cooper chuckled, leaning his head back as he still held his phone close to his ear. “I would suffer and ruin my reputation if anyone heard our conversation.” His girlfriend laughed. “But then again, thanks beautiful, I needed that.”
“No problem,”
“I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
_-_
Kurt cheered as his diva sang up on stage at the bar, he swayed as her voice boomed loud making the crowd go wild. He laughed when his diva blew a kiss to the crowd, finishing her song; she walked down and gave the mic to host before walking over to her boy, kissing him on the cheek. He left work early to go pick up his beautiful diva, allowing her to rest for two hours before heading out to party at nine at night.
“Boo, this is awesome!” she exclaimed, giggling as she takes a sip of her screwdriver. Kurt laughed before he nudged his diva towards the two close friends who were talking quietly to each other in the corner with such serious expressions.
“Theyre finally talking,” Kurt said, sipping his whiskey sour. “They like each other, I spoke to Chandler and he blurted the truth out. The next day I decided to message Elliot and he felt the same... I decided to be the little matchmaker and tell the both of them that they had to speak to one another by tonight,”
“Well that conversation you had with them did pay off..” She replied, watching the two boys interact; watching how they both slowly started to smile and hold hands. “Guess we have a new couple.”
“Guess we do, Cedes.” Kurt smiled, giving them a thumbs up as they walked back to the group with their red faces. “Im guessing we can cheers to the welcoming of our diva, Ms. Mercedes Jones AND to our new couple!” Mercedes cheered, the other two boys grabbing a beer and raising it. “Elliot Chandler, Elliander!” The couple blushed at the ridiculous nickname. Mercedes giggled, and sipped away her drink before asking for another.
“Okay, we have our couple,”Mercedes said, taking her drink off the bar before turning to her friends; Chandler being hugged from behind by Elliot and Kurt just standing there with his drink. “But what I need to know is, what is going on with the Adam person? Everyone keeps telling me that hes shit...”
“He is.” Kurt answered, rolling his eyes and continued drinking his whiskey sour. “Im done with him.”
“Oh well thats good, or else I would have had to murder his ass.”
“What about you, babe?” Elliot asked, kissing his boyfriends cheek. Mercedes rolled her eyes and smiled secretively, Kurt gasped and jumped, being very careful to not spill his drink.
“No way! Who?”
“I met him in LA and hes just amazing,” Mercedes said, “We met like two months ago, and we started to talk and hang out and... we kissed,” Kurt smiled and waited for his diva to continue. “I really like him and Im hoping I can actually see him again,”
“You will,” Kurt assured her with a smile. “Who wouldnt want to date you? You are an amazing person and such a beautiful diva!” Mercedes giggled and they all continued to talk until Kurt turned to the door, not knowing why he did but he couldnt be more regretful. There he was, Blaine Anderson, the gorgeous man who annoyed Kurt throughout his work for the past two to three days, there he was smirking beautifully as he walked in; his beautiful black tank and dark blue jeans, his muscles bulging out and his hair running wild. Fuck, he was absolutely gorgeous.
But what he also noticed was that Blaine wasnt alone. Kurt wasnt sure as to why he felt sick knowing that Blaine had someone else, but he was sure that he wasnt jealous. Of course not. Blaine laughed at something the other person said, pulling up a table for the both of them before ordering their drinks to the waiter that just walked by. Kurt didnt like that. Kurt didnt like that at all.
Mercedes noticed that Kurt wasnt paying attention to them anymore so she followed his stare to find a gorgeous man with wild hair making her smirk, she nudged the new couple who smiled knowingly. Kurt shook his head and turned to his friends to find them staring at him weirdly, kind of creeping him out.
“What?” he questioned.
Mercedes gave Kurt a look, “You should go over there.”
“What?” Kurt repeated, clearly confused at what his friends were talking about. Mercedes rolled her eyes, followed by Elliot and Chandler.
“Go over to the gorgeous wild man,” Chandler sassed, smirking at his best friend. “You were staring at him for at least five minutes or more...”
Kurt sighed, “You guys, Im not interested. I was just curious because hes my bosss brother.” Chandlers eyes widen as did Elliots as theyve seen Cooper Anderson in the flesh unlike Mercedes who stared at Kurt, waiting for him to continue.
“Diva, this is Hummels boss-” Chandler shoving his phone to Mercedes face, her eyes widen and she had also fallen for his looks. “Damn Kurt, why not go flirt it up.”
“Jesus, how are you surviving Kurt?” Mercedes asked, clearly having heart problems as she just fell in love with the man in the phone. Kurt rolled his eyes, and Mercedes clearly understood something causing her to smirk. “Did something happen between you and him at your job, Kurt?”
“No,” Kurt answered, the three gave him a look and he sighed. “Maybe, yes, he keeps on bothering me... calling me with pet names-” the three squealed in delight, pulling at Kurts arm who tried to walk off. “Guys, its nothing.”
In the far corner, Blaine and his friend were chatting about LA along with the moments they spent with the group when he heard screams of joy; he smiled and rolled his eyes thinking that itll be a bunch of drunks when someone caught his eyes and his breathing stopped short. Kurt Hummel was here. Blaine was not going to miss this opportunity, he looked at his friend who smirked knowingly.
“Is that him?” Blaine nodded, still looking at Kurt and his friends, one of them had noticed Blaine staring so she decided to turn back and pull at Kurts arm, speaking causing him to look up and catch Blaines eyes before looking away, blushing. Blaines friend chuckled, taking Blaines stare and silence as a yes. “Hes attractive.”
“And amazing, Seb.” Blaine replied, not taking his eyes off of the porcelain beauty. “I need to talk to him,” Blaine stood up and started to walk over, leaving Sebastian there to drink alone.
“Kurt! Hes coming this way,” Elliot sang, winking at the porcelain boy. Chandler giggled, leaning against his boyfriend as Mercedes smirked, drinking her third drink now. Kurt rolled his eyes, turning around to order himself another- clearly wanting to get wasted tonight.
“Hello.” the new voice spoke, everyone greeting the stranger but Kurt ignored him. “Hey, gorgeous.” Kurt sighed, smiling at the bartender and thanking him before turning back to face the wild man. “You look amazing,”
“Hello Mr. Anderson.”
“Oh come on,” Blaine whined jokingly, he then smiled as he tilted his head to the side. “I just got you to call me Blaine, why are you going back to being all professional?”
“Were off, we have to get going...” Mercedes announced as she set her drink down and grabbing her bag. She smiled sweetly at Blaine, “Im trusting that you know each other, and Im trusting that you can take our baby home?” Kurt glared at her but Blaine nodded. “Okay. Besides, I know where you are and I will cut you if something happens to my baby-diva.” Mercedes smirked, leaning and kissing Kurts cheek before waving and bidding her farewell, walking off. Elliot leaned and kissed Kurt on the cheek, stepping aside as Chandler leaned to kiss him straight on the lips before saying goodbye as he grabbed his boyfriends hand and left after Mercedes.
Kurt sighed and looked at Blaine, whos eyebrows were drawn up looking frustrated.
“You okay?”
“Is he your boyfriend?” Blaine questioned, sitting down on the recently available seat next to Kurt. Kurt chuckled and shook his head with a smile at the thought of him and Chandler.
“No,” Kurt replied, “Hes my best friend. Elliot, the other guy, is his boyfriend. They just got together, actually.” Blaine smiled, his world lighting up knowing that Kurt is single and isnt interested in anyone at the moment.
“May I ask you something?”
“Hmm?” Kurt looked at him, waiting for Blaines question.
“Whats up with Adam?” Kurt scoffed and sipped away his drink, Blaine bit his lip. “I mean... he was a tool.”
“My friends said that as well,” Kurt replied, staring ahead at the dancing crowd. “Shit happens to me all the time so Im completely fine with what happened.” Blaines eyes widen in shocked, shaking his head before grabbing Kurts hand who gasped. “What are you doing?”
“Making this a good night for you,” Blaine smirked, dragging Kurt to the dance floor. “This shit is good, Im hoping for you to have a good night tonight,” Blaine swayed as Kurt stood there in front of him blushing to the roots of his hair. “Come on, move that body, beautiful.”
Kurt broke into a smile, starting to get lost within the beat of the song as his body started to move; Blaine grinned and wrapped his arms around Kurts waist, pulling him closer. Kurt leaned his head back, his neck glistening with sweat as the lights shined on it, Blaine tried his best to not just attack the neck but he knew that he was getting hard. Kurt danced away, grinding away on Blaine as he needed a bit of relaxation and freedom; he needed air and hes getting it right then and there.
“Hey there handsome,” a voice spoke beside Kurt causing them to slow down their dance. Kurt looked over to find the same guy that came in with Blaine, and the anger bubbled within Kurt as he continued to stare at the guy. Blaine grinned and hugged Sebastian sideways. “And whos this?”
“This is Kurt,” Blaine answered, then looked at Kurt with a smile. “And Kurt, this is Sebastian... hes one of my best friend.” Kurt smiled, extending his hand to shake Sebastians.
“Well arent you just a diamond in a dusty shop.” Sebastian flirted with Kurt, Blaine rolled his eyes at his best friends behaviour. Kurt laughed at the lame compliment, shaking his head before checking the time, his body feeling down once he saw that it was close to one in the morning; Sebastian noticed and frowned. “You leaving, gorgeous?”
Blaine stared at Kurt, sad that the beauty before him has to go. “Yeah, I promised Mr. Anderson that I would head in to work tomorrow,”
“I can drop you off,” Blaine suggested, Kurt shook his head trying to say no to the suggestion. “No, really... Im sure Sebastian-” Blaine looked at Sebastian, who smirked and shook his head.
“Its alright, Kurt, Im heading out with a guy I just met a few minutes ago,” Sebastian said, patting Blaines back. “Ill see you later, Handsome.” he winked and stalked off to a guy who was leaning against the wall in the corner.
Kurt and Blaine left the bar, walking to the parking lot where Blaine parked his car. He and Kurt got in and drove off to Kurts apartment. They had a chat in the car, nothing big; Blaine felt so happy that hes actually having a decent conversation with the porcelain beauty. Parking in front of the apartment, Kurt thanked Blaine for the ride and gave a smile- which Blaine took as an encouragement of their friendship.
_-_
Cooper Anderson watched the cars zoom by through his glass windows, worried because his brother had just messaged him that hed be sleeping over at his friends place and that hed see him tomorrow. Cooper was worried because Blaines whole life was him being shamed by their father for being gay and for choosing the acting career instead. Now Blaine is free from that but with the memories of Blaines previous relationships, he wasnt happy either as he was either cheated on or used for fame.
He sighed in relaxation when he felt arms wrap around him, he smiled sadly and leaned in, kissing his beautiful girlfriend on the lips. She came over when he called her, saying that Blaine wasnt coming back home and that hes extremely stressed on his brothers future; being the wonderful and magical girlfriend, she came over in under twenty minutes to stay with Cooper.
“Darling,” she spoke softly, putting her finger on his chin to raise it up so he could look her in the eye. “Hell be fine, he has a wonderful brother and Im sure hes happy.”
“You dont understand,” Cooper replied, “I was the shittiest brother and being ten years older than him was a big gap that made us part.” Cooper pulled away from her grasp and sat on his couch. “When I turned nineteen, he was nine and he was brilliant- smart and talented.”
“Like you,” she whispered, smiling and kissing his cheek. Cooper chuckled and shook his head, staring at his intertwined hands.
“He was going big, I knew it and father thought this little phase will pass as soon as he started high school so he left Blaine alone...” Cooper continued, “It wasnt until Blaine turned fourteen that father completely changed, it was the year when he finally had the courage to come out to them and to be himself and to be loved by his own personality from our parents was something he wants but it didnt happen.”
“Honey-”
“No, I was there when he came out and all I did was run away.” His girlfriend looked at him as she registers the new information shes getting. “He came out, I ran. I didnt stay to help him, I went to start my own business...I left him with the monsters I had to grow up with for ten years before he came. Father wanted me to become a lawyer but I went into business which he was fine with. Im sure he wanted Blaine to end up being a lawyer as well...” Cooper sighed again, leaning against the love of his life. “I dont know what had happened throughout his teen life, living under those bastards...”
“Well hes living a dream, isnt he?” she spoke. “He loves his work, he got out and sure, hes been through shit relationships but that doesnt mean he wont get a good one in the end...” She smiled sweetly at Cooper, kissing him before continuing. “And besides, what relationship is always happy? Those arent real, couples fight and break up but some stay intact... those happy couples arent really happy and their relationship wont last. A real relationship needs balance: fight and love, without the fight there will be no love and without the love there will be no fight.”
Cooper smiled, he was really lucky. “Well I fought for you.”
“And Im glad I surrendered.” She grinned causing him to grin back, leaning in together their lips touched and all they could think was: I am so damn lucky.
_-_
Kurt rolled out of bed at six thirty in the morning, grabbing his breakfast and ate it while watching TV. He thought back to when Blaine had dropped him off, he never really had anyone be nice to him as much as Blaine- sure, hes annoying but very charming as well. Cody usually would just drop Kurt off and leave, he didnt live with Kurt which was perfectly fine but Kurt shouldnt think about that ass.
Kurt sighed and looked at the corner of his living-room and noticed a large empty space, he needed something there and he was deciding whether or not to get it. He got up and washed his plate, switching off his TV before grabbing his laptop and opening up Google to search different types of breeds- maybe he cant take care of a pet right now but he needed something to keep him company and happy.
He clicked up a web-page that has the lists of the different breeds with the pictures of the animal and thats what Kurt spent more than an hour of his time on. He had three different breeds in mind, finding the one which represents him in a way; he had to decide on the three different breeds. He then Googled any pet stores he could go to by nine in the morning, he found a shop: Pet Shelter, ten minutes away from his home.
He got up and brought his laptop to bed, falling asleep instantly forgetting about the pet and forgetting about the world as he fell into the dream boat and floated away.
Kurts eyes blinked open at the sound of a buzzer ringing, he groaned and tried to block out the sound but it just kept on ringing. He was frustrated and tired, he just wants to sleep and leave the world; he didnt have work so there was no point of him getting up early. He moved around his bed, trying to get up as the buzzing continued. It wasnt until he was up and ready when the buzzing stopped, he glared at nothing in front of him; mumbling swear words as he tried to go back to his bed when it started again, he walked to the door and pressed a button which switched on the camera downstairs where he could see who was ringing him up.
“Kurt?”
Oh. Its Mercedes. Crap. They had a lunch date.
“Come on up, Cedes.” Kurt pushed the accept button and went to clean his place up before she actually reach his door. They had a lunch date and he completely forgot, sighing he quickly put his used glass into the sink and locking up his alcohols in his small liquor cabinet before a knock alerted him that his diva was at the door. He walked over and opened it, allowing beautiful woman to walk in with a smile on her face. Once he closed the door, she gave him an air kiss to the cheek before making herself at home on his couch. “Im sorry about forgetting the lunch date we had, Cedes.”
She grinned and shook her head, “Boo, its fine.” She patted the seat next to her, Kurt followed her order. “Now, tell me what happened after I dragged the boys away.. you were alone with him,” She smirked, poking him.
Kurt rolled his eyes, sighing. “Nothing happened, we shared a few drinks and then, he dropped me off.”
“Thats it?” She questioned, clearly confused on what had happened to his night.
“And maybe we had a dance.. but that was honestly it.”
“Oh.” she sounded disappointed. Kurt stared at her, waiting for her to explain her expression. “We made a bet on what would happen to your night...” Kurt gasped in shock, she continued and rolled her eyes. “I said that you would end up fucking which clearly didnt happen, Chandler said that you would at least get a kiss by the end of the night and plan the next meeting...and Elliot, well Elliot said that it was our night and you wouldnt do that because you dont really know the man and that hes your bosss brother... and CLEARLY, that happened... “
“We did talk for awhile but nothing is going to happen,” Kurt answered, “Im sure after last night, our level is just friendship base.”
“But do you want more than that?”
“I dont know,”
“Well you better..”
“I dont go to work until three...” Kurt leaned his head back, turning to look at his diva. “Can you come with me somewhere?”
“Where are you going?” She asked, confused.
“Come on.”
“Oh my,” she squealed. “Are you serious?” Kurt laughed and nodded his head, accepting the question. “Kurt! They are so cute! How are you going to pick them?” she continued to gush over the pets as she bent down to stare at them. Kurt shrugged, walking to the pen where a bunch of full balls were playing and sleeping; he chuckled as he watched them move around. Mercedes were pretty much busy with the golden retriever pups so Kurt didnt want to call her over.
“Good afternoon, sir,” a young teen girl greeted bubbly. Kurt smiled at the teen before looking back at the pups. “Are you looking at pups or kittens?”
“I actually dont know... I mean Ive looked at the different breeds online but I dont even know anymore...” Kurt looked around while the teen smiled sweetly.
“You could adopt the dogs that are a bit grown up and have been abandoned.” she suggested, he looked back at her. “I mean most of the customers like to adopt the babies but I feel for the grown ups that were just left around the city...but of course, this is your choice...”
“May I see those dogs...?”
“Im Nina,” She answered, “follow me.” She brought Kurt to the back of the store where more dogs were laying around and playing, they may be older but they were as beautiful as the pups up front. “These are a bunch of our older dogs, we have the year and above over here,” she pointed within a pen. “And these are the older ones who are over eight years old.” she pointed at the other pen that was right beside them. “You can go in and see for yourself, of course, Ill be there just in case.”
Kurt smiled and thanked her, entering one pen with her right behind him. The dogs jumped and ran around him, chasing one another before Kurt noticed a dog completely covered all over with hair, the dog looked at Kurt with its head tilted sideways staring at the man before him. Kurt bent down and crouched, smiling at the dog and began to call it.
“Hes two years old, we just called him Jack but he doesnt seem to like it...” Nina spoke, as the dog slowly made its way over to Kurt. “He doesnt really warm up to new comers so this is a surprise.”
Kurt chuckled when the dog started to lick his hand and nudged Kurts hand over his head as he cuddled next to the porcelain man, Kurt started to pet the dog and he felt light. “I like him.”
“Thats great! He seems to like you too,” she commented, Kurt stood up and walked out of the pen to find that Jack followed him as soon as he stood up. “He really likes you,”
Kurt smiled, crouching and rubbing the dogs neck. “what should I name you? Do you like Jack?” The dog started to whine, Kurt chuckled. “Yeah, I dont either, it sounds stupid.”The dogs tongue lolled out on the side, huffing as he stared at Kurt. “Maybe I should call you Oscar...” The dog sneezed, which Kurt took as a no. “Hmm.. you are a tough cookie,” The dog barked happily causing Kurt to chuckle, Mercedes walked towards Kurt after she was done playing with the pups. She cooed and went to pet the boy.
“Well you can adopt the dog and get the things first before naming him,” Nina spoke up making Kurt nod, standing up and left his dog with Mercedes. “Do you want me to just get the necessity?”
“Yes please,” Kurt replied as Mercedes walked back to him with Jack following her and sat down next to his new owner. “I love him, Cedes.” Kurt said about his new companion. “Hes beautiful...and so lovely.” Mercedes giggled and leaned against the counter, staring at Kurt. “What?”
“Nothing,” she replied before looking back at the dog. “Hmm... he has a pretty shade, full white and shadowed black form the waist down.”
Kurts eyes widen in amaze, gasping startling Mercedes. “Shadow.”
“What?”
“His name!” Mercedess lips curved into an o as she realised how beautifully fitting the name was for the dog. Kurt went on his knees and spoke to his dog. “Shadow.. hows that?”Kurt broke into a grin when Shadow barked happily and started to move left and right before putting its paws onto Kurts shoulders. “He loves it!”

Blaine smiled as he walked down the hall leading towards his brothers office, expecting to see his beloved Kurt Hummel sitting outside on his desk but he was disappointed to find that he was not there. He stalked off to his brothers office with a questioning look making Cooper stare at him confused as he looked up from his laptop but still rest his hands on the keyboard.
“Where is he?”
“Where is who?”
“Your PA.”
“Oh,” Cooper replied, smirking within his head. “Well brother, hes not yet turned up... he doesnt have to come in until three-ish.” He continued to watch the younger Anderson who decided to slump against one of the single leather chairs that was set in front of Coopers desk. “Whats up?Whyre you looking for him?”
“Nothing,” little Anderson answered back. Cooper nodded, starting to type up on his laptop. “Hes a good PA, isnt he?” Cooper looked back up, staring at his brother; Blaine stuttered and looked away. “I mean.. he seems like a good PA.”
“He is.”
“Okay.”
“Blaine,” Cooper sighed, folding his hands and leaned forward. “Do you like him or not?”
“I...”
“Come on,” Cooper spoke. “Tell me.”
“Maybe?” Blaine groaned. “Dude, I dont know... hes pretty amazing and I cant stop thinking about him...”
Cooper chuckled and shook his head, “Then go for it,” Cooper stopped and looked up, pointing at Blaine with his index finger. “But you better not keep him away from working because I will murder you.” Blaine shook his head and laughed making Cooper smile. “Seriously, try it. You deserve someone in your life.”
Blaine scoffed and rolled his eyes, Cooper looking at him questioning. Blaine raised an eyebrow up, “Talk about yourself, Mr. Workaholic.” Cooper smiled knowingly at what his little brother was referring. “You need to find someone as well, I have gone out and been on dates but have recently want to run after a gorgeous man but you-” Blaine stood up. “You should find someone or I will find someone for you.”
Cooper rolled his eyes, ignoring his brother as he knows that he was perfectly happy with his girlfriend that no one knows about. “Blaine, calm down, I have been on some dates...”
“Which was when?”
“Like almost ten months ago?”
“Exactly.”
“No, Blaine. Stop it. Im fine.” Cooper said sternly, Blaine shakes his head. “What?”
“I swear youre attracted to your laptop, I never see you without it.”
Cooper laughed and shook his head, “Shut up.”
“You are such a techno-sexual freak.” Blaine barked back with a playful glint in his eyes. Cooper bursts out into laughter as his brother flipped him off and walked out to pick up his friends.
