Author's Notes: I still own nothing
Blaine was not at all interested when his sister told him about Kurt, her gay best friend and he just brushed it off. Until, he met him at the carnival that is. It was like love at first sight. He made it very clear that he wanted Kurt by asking him out the day they met. However, Kurt wasn't- or he acted as if he wasn't interested, and declined, promising another time. Although, they did exchange numbers. Kurt, with the thought of Rachel's baby brother, and Blaine, with the thought of much much more.

One day Blaine took a chance and called Kurt. Blaine was afraid Kurt wouldn't answer. But, he did.

"Hello? Kurt? It's me Blaine. Do you remember me? We met at Dalton the other day?"

Blaine held his breath.

"Yes. Mr. Warbler, How could I forget?"

Blaine sighed in relief and got right to the point.

"Haha yeah. So Kurt, what are you doing tonight?"

Blaine knew he sounded desperate, but in a way he was.

"What?"

"Or tomorrow night, or this weekend, whatever."

"Why?"

"Why? Our date."

Kurt scoffed. "What date Blaine?"

"The date you agreed to Kurt."

"No..."

"Yes you did. You promised and you swore it."

"Well... I guess I changed my mind."

"Look Kurt, I know you don't want anything to do with me because I'm related to Rachel. But I'm really nothing like her. Quite opposite actually, and I know I probably sound cray and you're like who is this guy I don't know him.."

Blaine was just rambling knowing he was making a fool out of himself in front of Kurt, but he was willing to do anything.

"You don't know me. But I know me. And when I see something I like I-I have to have it. I go crazy for it I-"

"Blaine, what are you talking about?"

Blaine blushed a little thanking any and everything that Kurt couldn't see him.

"Well.. you."

"Wow Blaine, you're good I give you that."

"Good? No Kurt I'm serious."

"You're good. You really are. You're fantastic actually."

"No- no I'm not."

"You really are. I'm impressed."

"I'm really not like this, really."

"Oh yes you are."

Blaine could tell by Kurt's voice that he was enjoying this. But he wasn't ready to give up just yet.

"I can be fun, if you want.... Pensive, uh, smart, uh superstitious, brave."

Blaine just talked and talked and talked, and Kurt was actually enjoying it.

"And.. uh.." Blaine, just trying to think of anything more to say held the 'uh' for a few seconds.

"I can be light on my feet.. Kurt I could be whatever you want. You just tell me and I'll be that for you."

Kurt giggled into the phone.

'Progress' Blaine thought.

"You're dumb."

Blaine being both a smartalic and half way serious at the same time shot back "I could be that."

"Come on Kurt, One date. What's it gonna hurt?"

Kurt seriously considered it for a moment, because he liked Blaine's forwardness. But again, decided against it. He just couldn't date Rachel's little brother.

"Umm... I don't think so."

Blaine's heart dropped. But he didn't give up hope.

"Well, what can I do to change your mind?"

"Guess you'll figure something out." Kurt teased.

"But Blaine, I'm cooking dinner with my dad tonight so I have to go."

"Uh.. Okay. But Kurt?"

"Yes Blaine..."

"I will figure something out."

"We'll find out now won't we?"

"Yes," Blaine smiled as he said this. "We will. Bye Kurt."

Kurt hung up with a long sigh.

Out of everyone you could have been related to it had to be Rachel.
