"Your coffee, good sir."
"Oh, Merci," Kurt smiled.
Blaine settled in the sand next to Kurt, unable to hold back the grin plastered to his face. He hadn't slept the night before, yet sitting this close to Kurt energized him. If he could stay here forever, he thought, he'd forego sleep for the rest of his life.
The sun hadn't begun to show, and Kurt purposely wore his thinnest shirt. He shivered a little, rubbing his shoulders and looking away from Blaine, hoping his practice earlier this morning didn't let Blaine on to his act.
Cute. Blaine bit his lip to stop a chuckle, amused by Kurt's horrendous acting. He'd started to strip his thick-knit maroon cardigan off, when another idea struck him. He finished pulling it off, ignoring Kurt's expectant glance, and draped it over his own lap. Holding in his giggles, he pretended to miss the daggers Kurt was shooting his way.
Really? Kurt rolled his eyes.
Blaine was probably going to lose it sometime soon, so he launched his plan. He reached over and rested his hands on Kurt's, bringing the other man's hands up to his mouth and blowing to warm them up. Kurt blushed a little at the sweet gesture, not forgetting that the hazel-eyed man refused to share his cardigan, however. Blaine then leaned forward and pecked Kurt on the lips teasingly, before getting up and pulling Kurt to his feet.
Kurt's eyes narrowed, wondering what, exactly, this man was scheming. Blaine pulled him closer yet, planting another, longer kiss on Kurt's lips. He took a step back and gave a light tug, urging Kurt to step closer again. Kurt complied, and Blaine kissed him once more, before taking a few steps back this time and pulling more forcefully this time, meeting Kurt with a hot, passionate kiss.
Caught up in the warmth of Blaine's kisses, Kurt forgot all about the cardigan. He let the dance, the steps backwards and the subsequent tugs back into Blaine's embrace, slip his mind between the kisses and playful whispers. Even the sun, slowly peeking up to watch the boys, fell to the back of Kurt's mind.
Until Kurt was heaved up into Blaine's small, but strong, arms. Until he felt the cool ocean water engulf him.
"What the hell!" Kurt screeched, shaking his head violently to get the water off his face. Kurt was furious. Even adorable, curly-haired, honey-eyed, bow-tied Blaine was not going to get away with this. Not when he- oh. Well, maybe. Maybe, when he stood there, water dripping off his dark ringlets, blown eyes skimming Kurt's body through his own thoroughly soaked, very thin shirt. Maybe, when the fresh sunlight cast a golden glow over all those muscles, hugged tight by Blaine's wet oatmeal henley. Maybe, when Blaine grabbed his face and kissed him until his knees gave in. Maybe. He'd have to decide later. He was far too busy for that now.
--
Kurt shivered into the soft red wool of Blaine's cardigan. They were mostly dry, the sun having fully risen while the talked and kissed and laughed and kissed some more. Sometimes they did all those things at the same time. Kurt smiled into the sleeves of the sweater and inhaled, it smelled fantastic. He sat in the sand, clothes completely ruined, hair a mess, skin probably shriveling no thanks to the salt water, and in complete bliss.
"I'm having a party tonight, at my place. Come?"
Blaine bit his lip, hoping he'd hear the answer he wanted. There was a long silence while Kurt picked at the cardigan in thought.
"Does he know?" Blaine asked, "Kurt?"
Kurt shook his head. He wasn't ready to drop that bomb, not yet. There were enough issues with Liam as it was. He didn't want to throw Blaine into the mix- for his sake and for Blaine's. He didn't even really know what Blaine was to him. And he knew a party undoubtedly meant he'd be home late and Liam would freak out. But Kurt wanted to go. He didn't want to relegate Blaine to hot morning make-out sessions and sunrises and coffee. He wanted to spend time with Blaine- a lot of time- he realized. He wanted to see where Blaine lived and meet his friends, he wanted get to know Blaine. So he agreed,
"I can probably come for a bit. I'd just have to leave early, if that's okay..."
Blaine shook his head, beaming,
"No! No, that's- that's great. Perfect."
Kurt leaned in to kiss that adorable grin off Blaine's face- the one Blaine made when he bit his lip and his eyes lit up like a child on Christmas day and a pink flush tickled his cheeks. They were interrupted by Blaine's phone ringing in the sand beside them. Blaine reluctantly checked it and told Kurt he needed to go get supplies for the party, but he'd see him later. Kurt pecked him on corner of his mouth,
"Okay. See you."
"See you."
Blaine lifted himself to his feet and planted one last kiss on Kurt's temple before jogging off, leaving Kurt sitting alone, wrapped up in that ridiculously preppy maroon cardigan, to appreciate everything that was good in the world.

Hahahah he made him take a dip in the ocean :)
Haha :) Lessons learned from this chapter: when dumping someone in the ocean, kiss them senseless so you don't get in trouble.
SO GOOD! I'm in love with them already. The beach make out and everything.
