When you run with the Doctor, you learn many things; most importantly though, you learn about yourself. The Doctor brings you to many different worlds and allows you to see so many wonderful things. Much of what you see has some sort of sadness in its past. So much anger. So much agony.

When you run with the Doctor, you are running from your old life and towards a grander more fulfilling life. The Doctor takes people and shows them how special they are. He shows them how smart they are. He shows them how every action they perform is loved by some one.

When you run with the Doctor, you are loved more than you know. He loves humans and all their faults. We are truly a blessed race having him watch over us. How can we not be? He watches over us, protects us, and never says a word or asks for something in return. How do we respond? By forging on and creating a better planet for everyone in secret. The human race is not ready for extraterrestrial life forms, but we are always ready for him.

When you run with the Doctor, you are usually in some form of danger. Hence, the running. You do a lot of running; so much running, that designer boots usually need to be replaced after stepping in some such goop or another. While running, is typically good for you, it loses its luster when you are running for your life. Even as you are running for your life, you know that you are the safest where you are, by the Doctor's side. I had never known the feeling of absolute safety other than in my father's arms before this man, the Doctor.
