Author's Notes: So, this sucks. I honestly wrote this last night because I was bored, and the concept has been in my head for a while. If people enjoy it, I'll write more. Review it if you want me to continue. It only takes 1 person :DAnd I must mention, in the beginning of this fic, Blaine and Quinn don't know each other AT ALL. In fact, Blaine only knows Mercedes, Rachel and Finn.
Woah. This is crazy. Here I am, standing in front of a class and not knowing what to say.

This is one of the only times Blaine’s really felt nervous. He knows what these people could do to him, but he’s there anyways.

“Hey, I’m Blaine” The empty stares of the class after that made him even more nervous. “That’s it” he tells them. They go back to doing their homework and he sits down in the second row.

“Thank you Mr. Anderson” Miss Sully said as Blaine nodded. Glaring around the room, she meets Quinn’s eyes. “Quinn, would you mind showing Blaine around the school tomorrow? I’ll excuse you from this class.”

Quinn’s stare wasn’t a nice one. “Whatever”

Miss Sully has had Quinn in her classes before, beautiful blonde cheerleader with many friends and even more talents. Quinn wasn’t herself this year, chopping off her blonde curls and replacing it with pink stripes. She only wore black opposed to her cheerleading outfit. Quinn was always at the top of her class, and always had a boy on her side. Miss Sully couldn’t piece together what was going on with her, but choose to go with it anyways.

Miss Sully noticed Quinn’s gaze at Blaine and continued teaching until the bell rang about an hour later.

As her students left the class, Miss Sully grabbed her lesson plan and shuffled it around to see the next class’s notes when she got interrupted by the high voice coming out the door.

“BLAINE, BLAINE, BLAINE!” Miss Sully recognized as Kurt Hummel’s voice.

“Yeah Kurt?” Blaine’s voice said back. Miss Sully noticed the perkiness in his voice she never saw before.

“How was your first class! I left Biology early to come to meet you here; I knew you had English first! I know Mercedes, Rachel and Finn aren’t in that class, but did you know anyone?” Kurt’s shrill voice squeaked out. Miss Sully started to get up to see what Kurt was doing. After a pause, Kurt added “You’ll meet somebody, don’t worry. Who won’t love you!”

Miss Sully turned to see Kurt attacking Blaine in a hug and Blaine’s red face.

“OH MY GOD, MISS SULLYS YOUR TEACHER BLAINE! THAT IS SO COOL! I had her for History in grade 10 and English in both grade 9 and 11” Kurt squealed as he saw his former teacher.

“Hello Kurt, how was your summer?” Miss Sully said calmly.
“Fantastic, absolutely magical. Well, I gotta walk Blaine to class, but I’ll talk to you soon Miss Sully! I really want to show you the new marc Jacobs clothing that was in vogue!”

“Have fun boys” The young teacher responded towards them.

__________________________________________________________________________

Blaine was happy; he was beside the person he loved most in the world, his boyfriend. While Kurt dragged on about Mercedes new obsession to be Maria in the school’s production of West Side Story, Blaine stopped to look around him. He never thought he’d be inside of a high school that wasn’t Dalton, ever again. He was safe at Dalton. He was himself at Dalton. At Holy Trinity (his religious parents forced him into a religious school despite his beliefs) he was always fighting bullies, hiding and was scared and on edge all the time. Sometimes the touch of a shoulder would scare him into missing a period and crying on a staircase. All the other jocks (Blaine was on the baseball & soccer team) would make fun of him because he was gay. They would throw him against lockers, and beat him up until he could no longer see. When he got transferred to Dalton, all the fear of getting hurt vanished when he saw nobody cared about his sexuality.

He was happy there, and safe. Blaine valued that more than anything in the world. Then Kurt came with his aquamarine eyes and screwed everything up. Kurt would be the only thing on Blaine’s mind at times, and he couldn’t stand being away from him for more than 2 days. Everything hurt without him, and he knew there was only one way to fix that pain. He would have to change schools and go to William McKinley, sure his safety was a factor, but he could watch Kurt all day, every day. They even had 2 and 5th period together. As Blaine and Kurt walked into their next class, Blaine was sure he did the right thing. He loved Kurt.

The rest of the day went really well, he noticed that he had a few people he knew in his classes, and there was one girl that he knew had 2 classes with him and lunch. Blaine only remembered her because she had pink hair and seemed really familiar. He wasn’t even tormented by Karofsky, and thought the day was a success.

__________________________Day 2________________________________

Blaine walked into his homeroom class, and sat at the seat he was at the day before. As Miss Sully walked into the room (an incredibly nice person as Kurt said) he opened his books and got ready for the class.

“Blaine” Blaine looked up when he heard his name and found himself staring at his teacher.
“Yes ma’am?” Blaine responded manners and charm still alive from Dalton.

“I would like if you went with Quinn, I want her to show you around the school. She’s pretty good at it, and used to be on the welcoming committee for new students, so I thought she’d be the perfect candidate.” His teacher responded.

Blaine looked up to see who Quinn was. The girl with pink hair. He was relieved to find out he’d be spending an hour with her, he wanted to befriend her since they had so many classes together. “Alright” Blaine said with a smile, and Quinn led him towards the door.

They walked in the halls until they reached an exit to leave the school.

“Uhm... Quinn... I don’t think we should be out there, Miss Sully said that you have to show me around school, but I don’t think she meant literally around it” Blaine said with a chuckle and charm.

“Shut up” Quinn stated. Blaine was silent, and was beginning to not like the girl at all. This was the first time she talked though, and Blaine recognized the voice, he just didn’t know where from.

“Alrighty then...” Blaine said back. Quinn pulled out a lighter and a cigarette and lit it. Blaine stood and marvelled at her. Damn, she’s so badass Blaine thought. He knew he’d have to put more thought into befriending her. She sure wasn’t making it easy.

“So Quinn... how’s... uhm... the school?” Blaine stuttered. He had no clue what to say, something that rarely ever happens to him.

“You’re Kurt’s boyfriend aren’t you? The perfect dapper one he tells everyone about. I’ve heard of you. Actually, I know you. You’re not that perfect. Thought I should let you know.” Quinn said back to Blaine.

Blaine wasn’t hurt by her words, he was actually more curious then anything.

“How’d you know I’m dating Kurt?” Blaine pondered.

“I used to date his brother” Quinn calmly said.

Blaine had the opposite reaction of Quinn’s statement. “YOU DATED FINN!” Blaine exclaimed before he even thought about it. He clamped his hand to his mouth trying to hold down his laughter.

“Yeah. You’ve heard of me. Quinn. Think harder. I bet any money Rachel’s bitched about me.”

Blaine remembered her when she mentioned Rachel. To Rachel, Quinn was a back-stabbing whore who never accepted help when she needed it. A liar and a cheat, and many other rude things. Blaine could totally understand where Rachel could’ve gotten all that, but he thinks there’s something more about Quinn Rachel didn’t understand. Thinking more about the things Rachel said, he remembered her mentioning she was pregnant during sophomore year and lied and told Finn the baby was his when it was really Finn’s best friend Puck’s. A very low thing to do Blaine thought.

“Yeah, you’re right. I know who you are now. But none of that means you’re a bad person.” Blaine said. He didn’t really understand why he said that. He just knew he had too.

Quinn looked up to him with puppy dog eyes. After a second, she put back on that scowl she had placed on her face before. “Wanna ditch?” she said.

Blaine contemplated what she said... they were excused from class so it technically wouldn’t be skipping, but what if they were caught? Blaine pondered the idea--

“Come on curly, if you don’t go, I’m leaving without you.”

“Sure I’ll come” Blaine made up right there.

They walked in silence for 10 minutes while Blaine wondered where they were. He was unfamiliar with the area; his house was way on the other side of town. He had no clue where they were going, and was kind of scared to where Quinn was taking him.

Finally, they ended up in a pizza place called Mario’s Pizza. Quinn led them to the bar seats and just sat there. Blaine thought they might get kicked out if they didn’t buy something, so he went to the cash and bought a slice of pizza and some apple juice, because god... he loved apple juice.

He came back to sit beside Quinn and noticed she was texting somebody.

“So... uhm... What’d you do with that baby you had?” Blaine said without thinking. He tended to do that quite often.

“Gave her up. Her fake mom’s a real bitch though.” Quinn replied. Quinn wasn’t making conversation easy for him at all.

“What’s your kids name?”

“Beth”

“Like that song, Beth by Kiss? I love that song.”

“Exactly the reason her names Beth.”
Blaine couldn’t think of anything else to say that wouldn’t be considered rude from the knowledge he already had of her so he began to sing the song.

Beth I hear you callin’
But I can’t come right now

“Shutup Curly” Quinn said. Blaine noted that she sounded sad.

“I have a name you know”

“Yeah, that’s irrelevant”

“Nope, pretty sure it’s quite relevant”

“SHUTUP GOD DAMMIT” Quinn yelled.

“Alrighty then...” Blaine stammered.

After a few minutes, Quinn surprisingly broke the silence. “You sing really well. Could give Berry a run for her money. You should join glee. You’d steal all the solos. That ungrateful bitch deserves it.”

“Well that’s a little harsh, Don’tchya think?”

“Not when she steals your boyfriend, no. I don’t think so” Another pause of silence.

This time it was broken by Blaine. “Why did you even like Finn... you’re... So different” He stated, putting emphasis on different.

“Not really, we used to be perfect. Head cheerleader, captain of the football team. You know typical high school relationship. Then he joined glee, and then I joined glee to keep Berry’s hands off him and -”

“Wait, you were on the glee club?” Blaine interjected.

“Yeah, it was really fun believe it or not. Really fun”

“You should join again then” Blaine stated.

“No”

“Why not?”

“Because”

“That not a reason.”

“Shut up”

Blaine knew exactly what to say for the first time in that conversation. “You know, if you love something you should just do it. If it makes you happy, just do it. If you like it, just be yourself.”

Quinn said nothing. Blaine again, new exactly what to do. He grabbed his iPhone out of his pocket and picked a song he thought was awesome. By one of his favourite artists, Katy Perry. He picked a slowish song, one you could consider slow but with a few awesome beats.

Quinn gave him weird looks as he sung to The One That Got Away

Summer after high school when we first met
We make out in your Mustang to Radio head
And on my 18th birthday we got that chain tattoos

Quinn laughed. Who did this guy think he is?

Used to steal your parents' liquor and climb to the roof
Talk about our future like we had a clue
Never plan that one day I'd be losing you

Blaine got up off his chair and picked Quinn by the hand and started dancing with her. To his surprise, she didn’t let go.

And in another life I would be your girl
We keep all our promises, be us against the world
And in other life I would make you stay
So I don't have to say you were the one that got away
The one that got away

Quinn was actually having fun dancing like an idiot in the middle of a Pizza shop with a guy she didn’t know. It was funny, dancing like morons.

Blaine paused the music and looked right at her, they were roughly the same height.

“See! Wasn’t that fun! If you be yourself, everything comes easy.” Blaine said.

Blaine and Quinn spent the rest of their time eating Blaine’s slice of pizza and drinking his apple juice. Quinn laughed so hard when Blaine explained to her the importance of apple juice. She didn’t get it, but it was a funny story.

Blaine looked down at his iPhone and frowned. “We should get going. We have 7 minutes to the bell”

“Shit!”

They ran out of the Pizza place and ran to school. Blaine was actually surprised that she cared that much. He really only wanted to get there early, because that meant more time with Kurt.

Once they entered the school, the bell just rang. Quinn waved goodbye and walked off. Blaine, lost tried to guess which way to go.

Blaine eventually made it to his second period class and sat in his spot beside Kurt.

“Blaine, where the hell were you? I went to meet up with you at your homeroom, but you weren't there! Scared the shit out of me since I saw you before class. Where’d you go?!” Kurt wondered.

“I went out to that pizza place with a girl in my homeroom.” Blaine responded calmly.

Their teacher started the lesson and 30 minutes later the lesson was over, and they had around 40 minutes to work on their homework, of course, Blaine and Kurt spent it talking.

Twenty minutes into their talking period, Kurt asked who Blaine went out to pizza with.

“Quinn”

Kurt opened his mouth and gasped. He probably didn’t mean to gasp that loudly, since people were looking towards him but he didn’t really care. Blaine, his Blaine... went out with... Quinn... Fabray...

“Blaine, no. Just no. She’s bad news”

“No, I highly doubt that. Just drop it. Alright Kurt?”

The rest of the period was spent doing their homework.

__________________ A week and a half later______________________________________

“BLAINE, GIVE ME BACK MY ERASER!” Quinn yelled.

They were in English again, Miss Sully’s class. Blaine laughed at Quinn. Quinn sat in front of Blaine, and Blaine was always stealing her things in a friendly playful way.
Blaine couldn’t take it anymore. He gave her back her eraser.

“You’re a real pain in the ass, you know that?” Quinn told her new friend.

Quinn and Blaine’s friendship really grew over the last week and a bit. Blaine was funny and charming, and Quinn was hard and understanding. Weirdly enough, their friendship was perfect.

“Quinn turn around, Blaine do your homework!” Miss Sully said.

Blaine lowered his head to his paper, and smiled at Quinn when she turned her chair to face her desk again.

There was a knock on the door. Miss Sully opened the door and Jacob Israel came in to tell her about something.

“Work on the components of an essay, I’ll be right back” Miss Sully announced to her class.

Like any senior class in high school, this created an uproar of chatter. Blaine pushed himself out of his desk and walked toward the empty desk beside Quinn.

“You know, it’s really weird. I feel as if I know you already” Blaine said to Quinn.

Quinn sighed and said “You’ve known me for two weeks, that's enough to know a few things”

“No, I mean... like you’re really familiar. Sometimes you say things and I know I’ve heard them before. I don’t know what it is... I just... already know you” Blaine said.

“Sure curly. Go on with that theory”

They chatted until the end of class, which was only 5 minutes later, and Blaine walked to his next class, and sat beside Kurt.

“Hello gorgeous” Blaine whispered as he sat next to Kurt.

“Hello to you too Mr. Blaine Anderson. You’re looking quite spectacular today”

“You know, I kinda miss the Blaine Warbler thing. It was really cute” Blaine said.

“Well... you’re not a warbler anymore are you?”

“Well... No I guess not” Blaine said with a frown.

“That’s not a bad thing you know? You’re on new directions now. We’re unstoppable with you and Rachel. Seriously, nobody can beat us now. We have the two best singers in Lima!” Kurt exclaimed.

“Hey, what about you? I’m still waiting for us to do a duet.”

“I’ll leave that to Rachel... you guys harmonize perfect together actually. I think Finn is actually mad; you’re stealing all his solos. It’s pretty funny. When we go home after glee club, he just plays Call of Duty for 4 hours and eats. That’s his version of being sad”

Blaine laughed, he felt bad about stealing his boyfriend’s brother’s solo’s... but, he was the better singer. And Rachel and Blaine sounded absolutely wonderful together.

Blaine and his boyfriend went on with conversation for the next hour until Kurt’s next class and Blaine’s lunch started. Like usual, Blaine walked his boyfriend to class and then proceeded to the lunch room. On the way there, he passed by Quinn’s locker, and she was at it. Having the same lunch, he went to meet up with her.

“What’s cookin’ good lookin?” Blaine asked his friend.

“Shut up Curly” Quinn responded harshly. Blaine’s payed attention in the last few days, When Quinn called him Curly; she was never in a good mood. Blaine sighed. They walked towards the cafeteria and sat down.

“What’s--” Blaine was beginning to ask what’s wrong when Quinn cut him off.

“Puck. Puck saw Beth last night. He held her. He talked to her. He drew her a picture” Tears started to build up in her eyes with the last part. “She’s my daughter too. I … gave birth to her, and I only saw a picture of her. Shelby doesn’t deserve Beth. She’s not her mother. I am”

Blaine felt genuinely sorry for his friend, and touched her hand in a consoling way. “Quinn, look at me”

Quinn’s head turned up to face Blaine. There were tears in her eyes, and he now knew why she seemed so familiar.

It was so clear to him now... Those tearing eyes he’s seen before. He knew exactly who she was.

Lucy.
