Author's Notes: I don't know where the random "r32" s came from. But it's fixed now.
Both Kurt and Blaine could hear the muffled sound of voices from the hallway. Kurt's breathing was now turning into tiny faint screams and Blaine squeezed Kurt's hand. The sounds were now closer, most likely at the door. Blaine wondered if it was help or it was the shooters. He could hear the table that was against the door of the photo room fall to the ground in one loud bang.
Adrenaline surged through Blaine’s body as he sat up in one quick movement. He grabbed the tarp and unfolded it, Pulling it over Kurt and his bodies, hoping that by some miracle they wouldn't notice it was actually them but just a messy tarp. Blaine held Kurt under the crinkly tarp as Kurt’s cries were becoming louder. Blaine could hear the yelling and knew it was definitely the shooters.
"shhhhh," he pleaded to Kurt, but the boy only got louder. Blaine held my hand over Kurt’s perfect yet bloody mouth. "Kurt please!" he whispered but Kurt couldn't stop. Blaine could hear them trying for the doorknob and knew it was only time until they got the door open. He racked his brain for ideas on how to make Kurt quiet. Only one idea came to mind.
Blaine pressed his lips against Kurt's, tasting the metal of blood inside his mouth. Kurt's pleas were mostly silent now and they could hear the door swing open harshly. Fear crept over both of them as Blaine pushed harder into the kiss in fear. "I'm sorry Kurt," Blaine thought over and over again, slightly mouthing it into Kurt's motionless mouth. He hoped Kurt could still breathe through his nose and that he wasn’t hurting the poor boy.
"Where's that gay fucking faggot?" said one of the monsters. He pushed down one of the racks, sending art supplies flying. This time Blaine made a slight noise into Kurt's mouth, gripping Kurt's good arm from fear. If they were caught they would both die just like this. It would only take seconds for one of their bullets to take Kurt out cold. Kurt's mouth moved against Blaine’s. Drawing him into a real kiss. Tasting metal again reminded Blaine of everything. As Kurt kissed him, Blaine knew everything Kurt wanted to say. Blaine could feel Kurt’s need, his pain, his sadness, his fear... their fear.
Blaine had forgotten about the monsters until he heard their footsteps fading out of the room. He broke the kiss, letting his lips rest on Kurt's forehead. Careful not to let his weight onto him. His hand was still on Kurt’s arm and Blaine noticed he was feeling colder than usual.
"They can't touch you," he said into Kurt’s hair, "I'll fucking kill them before they lay another finger on you, I'll fight for you.. No.. I'll fight for us Kurt, I'll fight until the end."
"Blai... Blaine," Kurt moaned, "I.. I.. don't.. I.. ca-can't.. Blai.." Blaine pushed the tarp to the side and lifted his head to stared into Kurt's face, into his eyes. Searching for something, for an answer until Blaine began to break down and couldn't take it, the way that Kurt looked.
"I know," he said, "I know it hurts, please... Hang on for me Kurt, think about us.. About growing old together Kurt. Think about summer mornings filled with coffee and the sweet smell of grass. Think about singing, think about your friends at McKinley. Think happy things, Kurt, happy things." he lowered my head onto Kurt's shoulder, trying to control his tears.
"Bu...Bu...Blai..." it was harder for Kurt to talk, "I.. Ca... I can't... d-d-die...I...I'm...I nev-never...got...to..to...be...with...y-you."
Blaine’s entire body ached with sadness and loss. He lifted my head up and looked straight into Kurt's light eyes that now seemed so dark. He knew exactly what Kurt meant by be with you. Blaine felt strong for the first time that day.
"Kurt, you are not dying. You are strong. You are so very much stronger than this. You are going to be fine and soon you will be back at school, with merely a few scratches, and when you are, we will be together, Kurt. We are going to hold each other and we are going to be with one another. I promise you this, I promise. Just hold on okay, just keep holding on." His hand held Kurt’s perfect face, feeling the dried blood on his cheek. It was the first realization both of them had that he could easily die a virgin right here, right now in a matter of minutes. Blaine began to become angry at those horrible things that shot him. They weren't people, people had hearts and feelings, those things that shot Kurt were not people.
Kurt's breathing was heavy still and the curly haired boy knew the painful fact that there was nothing he could do to really help him right now and Kurt was only feeling colder and colder. Blaine knew that Kurt needed warmth.
He rolled around and lifted Kurt up into his arms, leaning his back against the wall. Blaine held him as close as he could and tried to use the tarp as a blanket. Blaine did everything he could to soothe the boy that he loved. Kurt’s eyes slowly closed and Blaine rested his fingers on Kurt’s neck to ensure his heart was still beating. It was, just barely.

i am really intrigued by this story. it kind of reminds me of the events of columbine high school in 1999. despite the fear and worry that surrounds blaine, he's really keeping a level head. the only thing i'm still trying to come to terms with is that this happened at dalton. i can see it happening at mckinley, but not dalton. however, i'll go with it. you should complete this story. i do have a suggestion though. i don't know if this site has any beta readers, but if they do, i think you should consider using one. as i read the first 3 chapters, i found many grammatical issues. for example, you said that you changed the pov from first to third. i definitely saw several references to the first person. i think using a beta reader can make this good story even better. i hope this suggestion doesn't offend you; it is offered in the spirit of constructive criticism.

Yeah, it sort of explains later in the chapters. Dalton (from what I've gathered) seems to be the type of school that other schools like McKinley think is full of gays because it's all boys. Yeah, I'm not totally sure how to get a beta reader to look at it on here. I do make a lot of typos and I don't think I caught all the changes from 1st person to 3rd. I'll definitely look into it though!
