The weeks passed and Kurt found that he and Blaine fell into a sort of routine. He would be up first, able to shower and dress and make breakfast by the time Blaine came stumbling out, bleary eyed, to the kitchen table. Blaine would wolf down whatever Kurt had made and then disappear back into the bedroom to get dressed. Kurt would have to leave while Blaine was getting ready, always making sure to give Blaine a quick kiss on his way out.

He would spend his days at NYADA, going to classes, getting in extra dance and vocal rehearsals with Rachel and sometimes Adam. Adam had turned out to be a good friend; they’d discovered a shared love for Downton Abbey. He made dance class bearable, especially when Cassie was on a tear and nothing any of them did was good enough.
Adam was also the leader of the NYADA glee club, The Adam’s Apples, and often asked for Kurt to join. Kurt had held off though – Rachel had said it was social suicide at NYADA and Kurt wasn’t sure he could go through that again. He was still considering it, but in the meantime, Adam had been more than willing to help Kurt and Rachel with their dancing.

Then Kurt would come home, bone weary and exhausted, where he would throw something together for dinner, eat alone, and then fall into bed. Blaine often made it home in the wee hours, eating the left overs Kurt would leave him, and then it would begin again the next morning.

*

It seemed silly to Kurt, but he sometimes felt like he actually talked to Blaine less now that they were living together. Sure they still texted during the days, but the demands on his time were more now and he couldn’t always respond when Blaine was available. His phone was off most of the time he was at school anyway – there would be no saving him if it went off during dance class or something. Kurt didn’t like it, but he wasn’t sure what else to do about it either.

On Blaine’s occasional days off they would try and spend time together, but Blaine was often reading scripts and learning lines and song lyrics. Before they moved in together, Kurt had had no real idea of just how dedicated to his job his boyfriend was, and it was endearing. He tried really hard not to get frustrated with it, but it was hard sometimes. He knew it wasn’t Blaine’s fault.

Normally Kurt would just spend his free time on set with Blaine and the rest of the cast, but he didn’t want to take advantage of that, plus he had a feeling that he was a distraction when he was there. It didn’t help that Blaine was still being weird about Chandler, or that Chandler was friendly and flirty (Kurt was pretty sure he didn’t even know he was doing it), and that was making Blaine pretty unhappy.

Kurt just wished he and Blaine had more time together.

One bright spot was their continuing preparation for The Trevor Project performance. Kurt had finally narrowed down the songs, and he and Blaine had managed to agree on one.

They would be singing “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge, and Kurt couldn’t wait. He and Blaine had become obsessed with that song after watching the movie together; Kurt was pretty sure they’d be singing that song at their wedding too.

Kurt heard the front door open and placed the bookmark inside the book he’d been reading. A glance at the clock told him that Blaine was home early, something Kurt was hoping to take advantage of. He quickly pulled his t-shirt off and slipped his pajama pants off under the covers, tossing both items onto the chair near the bed.
Blaine poked his head into the bedroom a moment later, eyes bright but looking a little tired.

“Hey, you,” he said quietly. “Wasn’t sure you’d still be up.”

“I usually pass out in about an hour,” Kurt replied. He lifted his arms up and laced his fingers, placing his hands behind his head on the pillow.

The motion achieved the desired reaction; Blaine swallowed hard and stared at him for a second.

“Are… are you naked under there?” Blaine asked.

“Why don’t you come find out?” Kurt asked, letting his voice take on a breathless quality.

Kurt had never seen Blaine move so fast – Blaine’s shirt was off and he was on the bed before Kurt could finish blinking. Their lips met in a fiery kiss, Kurt wrestling with the blankets to move them out of the way without breaking away from Blaine’s mouth. Blaine struggled with his pants and after a moment the two of them were a mess of tangled limbs and fabric, causing both of them to delve into laughter.

Blaine’s eyes met his and the emotions that Kurt saw there took his breath away. This, this right here is why everything else was worth it – the crazy schedules, the lack of time together – it was worth it all because he knew that Blaine loved him. Blaine pulled back and finished undressing while Kurt kicked the blankets out of the way.

Blaine was pressed up against Kurt moments later, settling on top of him. Their kisses delved into a frenzy as Blaine rocked against him. Kurt couldn’t hold in his groan and he pulled away from Blaine’s mouth, gasping.

“Missed you,” he managed.

“Me too,” Blaine said, attacking his neck. “Never going this long again.”

“Agreed.” They kissed again and Kurt could feel himself getting closer and closer, his orgasm building slowly until Blaine came with a cry. That was all it took to send him over the edge, arching up against Blaine as he came.

They cleaned up quickly and remade the bed before settling into it with sleepy yawns.

“Oh,” Kurt murmured before drifting off, his head on Blaine’s chest. “Your dad called earlier and wanted you to call him back.”

Kurt didn’t really talk to Carl Anderson very much, but Blaine’s father was slowly coming around and their conversations were usually nothing more than basic things. Kurt knew that Blaine talked more with his dad, and that was okay – if he spent too much time with Blaine’s father he might end up saying exactly what he thought of the man, and that probably not go over very well with anyone.

“’kay,” Blaine mumbled. “I’ll call him tomorrow.”

OMFG, I think I have too much time on my hands.

I was just staring at this picture of Cooper Anderson (the guy from the Free Credit commercials) and I kept thinking he looked familiar. After spending way too long on it, I realized that he reminds me of Blaine!

Here’s a side by side for comparison sake.

Wouldn’t it be bizarre if they’re like cousins or something? LMAO.

I should probably go to bed. I think I’ve cracked.

#Weirdly kind of shipping it now.

Blaine woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in weeks. He smiled at Kurt still sleeping under the covers and said a silent thanks that it was the weekend and he didn’t have to work.

Being on the new show was a lot different than being on Dalton. The cast here was smaller, and Blaine found himself in almost every scene of the show, unlike before where he would have breaks or could be home at a decent hour at least. It was also stressful incorporating Chandler into the cast and Thomas into their group of characters. Blaine found himself mentally and emotionally exhausted at the end of the day.

He’d never imagined he’d play a character that’d cheat, who’d actually do that to someone else (because he couldn’t imagine it, and after what he and Kurt had gone through with Sebastian in the past, he knew he never would). The episode in question would be airing a few weeks and he was not looking forward to it at all.

It also made Blaine uncomfortable when Chandler would bring up Kurt. When it was Nick or Jeff teasing him or discussing Kurt’s… assets, Blaine had no problem with it, but something about the way Chandler said Kurt’s name made him want to lock Kurt away where no one else could get near him. That idea was ridiculous of course, but still.

He sighed and slid out of bed, letting Kurt rest a little longer. Blaine slipped into the kitchen and turned on the coffeemaker and then picked up his phone, pressing the button to dial his father.

Hello?

“Hello, Father,” Blaine said. Even though he and his father had a better relationship now Blaine couldn’t seem to shake the formalities between them.

Son,” Carl greeted. “I see that Kurt gave you my message.

“He did,” Blaine replied. “What’s going on?”

I wanted to discuss Thanksgiving,” Carl answered. “It’s next week and I want to make sure all of our plans are finalized.

Blaine felt silly for thinking that something bad had happened, or that his father might have had a sudden change of heart and had reverted back to the way he was before.

“Unless something changes,” Blaine began, “Kurt and I are flying into Dayton the night before and staying over at Kurt’s parents.” He paused, thinking about their flight arrangements. “Then Kurt and I are driving down from Lima with his parents Thursday morning.”

Will Kurt’s brother be joining us?

“No,” Blaine said. “He’s going to his girlfriend’s for dinner.”

Excellent,” Carl told him when Blaine was done. “I’ll have Mary start preparations early then.

“Sounds good,” Blaine agreed. It was a little surreal to be planning a joint Thanksgiving between his and Kurt’s families, since in years past he’d always had to split his time between Lima and Columbus.

He ended the call with his father and then smiled softly, before going to check the state of the coffeemaker. Maybe Kurt would like breakfast in bed.

Joby On The Rocks?! Say It Ain’t So!

Exclusive spoilers here folks!

As we head into the holiday week, Joby fans don’t have a lot to be thankful for. Toby is off to parts unknown on a quest to find his birth parents, leaving his beloved James back in New York (the cover story allowing actor Sebastian Smythe off the show while he spends some time shooting a movie). Sources on the set say that things are not copasetic between the couple and that new guy Thomas Ellingsworth (Chandler Keihl) is on the prowl. Watch out, James!

We hope that everything works out for our beloved couple and that they end up shaken and stirred instead of broken up.

WHAT?

WHAT IS THIS SHIT?

NO. NO. I REFUSED TO BELIEVE THIS.

FML, I CANNOT HANDLE THIS. IF JOBY BREAKS UP… #I started crying just typing that

Someone hold me, I’m scared.

They’re not going to break up, guys. Seriously, why would they do that???

I think a break up would be amazing! James and Toby are done with high school and they need to learn and grow as adults. This plot is the perfect one to let them do that.

I’m fine with them breaking up if it’s because LDR’s are too hard. Toby’s got issues anyway and it’s not hard to see them struggling to keep it together. What I do have a problem with is that this Thomas guy is going to be all over him. I can’t see James being a cheater.

*prayer circle this is all lies and madness*

#i can’t #tag post because I fucking can’t

Welp, I’d avoid the LOL Joby tag, if I was you guys.

You guys. My heart. It’s already breaking.
