"Puck," Kurt admonished. "What kind of question is that?"
"You get like free swag, right?" Puck continued like he hadn't heard Kurt. "Clothes, concert tickets, all that crap."
Blaine smiled. "Sure, sometimes," he told Puck.
"If you were into girls, I bet you'd have all the chicks," Puck continued. The others were just observing the conversation, most of them seeming generally curious. Blaine didn't talk about what it was like to be famous in front of anyone but Kurt, so he was sure most of them were hanging on his every word, even if they weren't showing it.
"Who says they don't try?" Blaine grinned and Kurt groaned.
"That's just what I need to hear," he muttered. "That I have competition."
"No one compares to you," Blaine told Kurt and several of the girls let out "awww's." Kurt blushed and Blaine smiled.
"I bet you get tons of fanmail," Rachel chimed it and Blaine figured it would only be a matter of time before she was no longer able to resist the conversation.
"I do," Blaine replied. "Most of it's pretty amazing."
"Most of it?" Rachel questioned, looking confused.
"I tend to get a lot of hate mail, too," Blaine told her. "People who take exception with me being gay and out and on their TV's."
"When you say hate mail..." Kurt trailed off, staring at him with a concerned expression. Blaine shrugged, a little uncomfortable.
"Mostly just letters saying that I'm an abomination and I'll burn in Hell. I got a couple of death threats once."
"Blaine," Kurt breathed out his name.
"It's all part of being famous, Kurt. Not everyone is going to like you." He shrugged again. "I get hate online too, just the same as you do. It sucks, but there's not a lot that can be done. People who want to be jackasses are going to and we can't stop all of them."
The room was silent and most of Kurt's friends were staring at him, wide-eyed now.
Mr. Schue chose that moment to come back into the room, clapping his hands and startling them all. "All right, guys, back to work!"
