Author's Notes: Sorry for the late update. Finals is next week so our teachers decided to do last-minute torturing. But I managed!
"You don''t know if he's lying, Kurt," Rachel said one afternoon. Blaine had been asked to remain in his room until Rachel left. Rachel had been pickinig at ehr half-eaten double chocolate cake as she sat acrosss from Kurt at the kitchen table. Kurt had told Rachel what Blaine had told him.

"Rachel, that makes no sense. He has no reason to lie to me," Kurt pointed out.

Rachel sighed. "Nevertheless, I don't trust him."

"Prejudice much?"

"Kurt, do you realize how much trouble you'd be in? THey could arrest you and kill your Avox."

Kurt's nose flared. "His name is Blaine. Not 'your Avox'."

Rachel's lips formed a thin line. "Fine. Blaine."

Kurt shook his head. "The only way they could find out that I'm actually trating Blaine like this is if you don't keep your mouth shut. This stays between us."

Rachel held up her heas as if to say 'shut up'. "I know, Kurt. I know."

"Good. You better."

Rachel was silent for a moment. "Are you sure you're making the right decision?"

"Rachel," Kurt said witha pause, "true love is always the right decision."

Rachel seemed to have considered this, nodding her head as she got to her feet. "Although I think this is a bad idea," she paused to take in a breath, "I am happy that you're happy, Kurt."

Kurt rose to his feet and wrapped his arms around Rachel without a word. Kurt was sure that it'd be no time until Rachel fully understood. He showed her out and then returned. Before Kurt knocked on Blaine's door for him to come out, he froze. There was something stirring in his gut's instinct. Something wasn't right. Shaking it off, Kurt knocked before he opened Blaine's bedroom door. Blaine laid napping in his bed. Smiling, Kurt slowly mounted the bed and curled up next to Blaine. It wasn't long before Blaine was aware of Kurt's presence and cuddled against his side, Kurt drifting to sleep.

* * * * *

It was another slow day in the shop. It was about four in the afternoon and Kurt had only revieved about ten customers. It was not that he was complaining, but merely that he was beginning to question his design's popularity.

Blaine was sweeping the spill that Kurt had made earlier when he dropped his coffee due to the cup being too hot to hold. Glancing at Blaine every now and then, Kurt no longer saw Blaine as an Avox (or anything close to such a horrid word).

Kurt nearly jumped a foot in the air when Rachel had swung the shop door open and slammed it behind her as if she were hiding from somone or something. Her face read dispair and horror.

"Rachel?"

"Hm?" murmured Blaine as he looked up at Rachel. Seeing the expression on her face, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Kurt. Did you hear about Cinna's execution?" Rachel asked breathlessly.

Kurt furrowed his eyebrows. "That's so sad. Do you know why?"

"He helped out Katniss. Kurt, Katniss shot down the Hunger Game's arena wall. District 12 has been bombed and so has 8. Kurt, I'm so sorry!" She put her hands over her mouth as if she just spilled a deep, dark secret.

Kurt's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. "Wha-"

Blaine looked between the two with shock.

"-Kurt they're hunting down anyone in the capitol from District 8 or 12."

Before Kurt toppled to thefloor, Blaine dropped the mop and hurried over in time to wrap an arm around his waist.

Rachel had to push aside all differences to speak directly to Blaine. "B-Blaine," her voice shook.

Blaine looked at Rachel with wide eyes.

"I need you to help me pack up what you two will need. I can only get you as far as District 1, but that's it. I'm going to need you to dress up like a Capitol person and I neeed your help to dress Kurt up like an Avox. That's the only thing I can think of that could get you two out of her safely."

Blaine nodded his head in confirmation as he began heading towards the stairs, Rachel close behind. When in the apartment, Rachel hurried into Kurt's room where she found two backpacks and some regal Capitol clothing and accessories. "Blaine!" Rachel called for him.

Blaine was helping Kurt sit down on the couch. At the sound of his name, he hurried to where it came from. As soon as he stepped into the bedroom, Rachel slammed the door shut and grabbed Blaine. Blaine let out a shocked yelp as Rachel began undressing him. Blaine just remained still, scared to do anything that would frusterate her all the more. Rachel had dressed him up in Kurt's Capitol clothing and neatly folded Blaine's Avox uniform. She put makeup on Blaine and put on a matching wig. Satisfied, she hurried out with Blaine and dressed Kurt out of his clothing and into Blaine's. It was like an alternate universe where Kurt was an Avox and Blaine was a Capitol person. It was weird, but Rachel had no time to really think about it. It should do good enough.

Rachel took the two backpacks and began packing the essentials in. One backpack contained a first aid kit, five containers of water, a liquid to purify any found river or lake water, two thick blankets, and a healing cream for any wounds she she stuffed into the first aid kit. The other backpack contained wrapped apples, four peanut butter and jam sandwiches, cans of green beans and soup, and small kitchenware like plates and silverware. Rachel forced the backpacks onto Kurt's back and pushed them out of the apartment and down to the shop where she stopped before the door.

She was breathing heavily. "Are you guys ready?"

No replies from either of them.

With no choice, Rachel forced them out of the shop and into the Capitol streets where she walked at a fast pace. Kurt just stared at the ground with a grave face as Blaine walked beside him, his head held high as he tried his hardest to blend in the best he could.

Blaine wasn't expecting it to be so simple. They had slip under the noses of the Capitol easily as Rachel borded them on the train to District 1. The tickets was no doubt a lot of money. Blaine was the first one on, looking back at Kurt and Rachel to see Rachel speaking to Kurt in a voice too low for Blaine to catch onto. But Blaine was surprised when Kurt nodded his head, soon urging Kurt onto the train. Blaine moved aside to let Kurt in.

They handed the cunductor their tickets and found a section that was all theirs. They hurried into the bathrooms and changed into their normal clothes, Kurt and Blaine changing into two identicle outfits that Rachel had packed extra for them. Kurt wore a sapphir blue button up with brown amongst it, a dark leather brown jacket, black cargo pants, and brown leather boots. Blaine was dressed in a deep red button up shirt, a black leather jacket, forest green cargo pants, and black leather boots. Blaine's curls were in a mess, but Kurt decided that it completely the look. Kurt's hair, however, felt completely flat and useless, causing him to sigh in a frusterated way.

When the cunductor came back to hand the reciepts to the two ment, he just gave them a funny look. "Um. Are Avoxes allowed to dress as such?" he asked, confused entirely.

Blaine just raised his eyebrows and nodded his head in a lazy way.

That seemed to have convinced the cunductor. He left the two men alone the rest of the train ride. But in the mean time, the sun outside had gone down, the train's lights were dimmed, and Kurt and Blaine sat down next to each other. Blaine remained wide awake as he stared outside while Kurt slept with his head on Blaine's shoulder, wrapped among one of Blaine's arms.

All Blaine heard from Kurt was a faint saddened murmur that broke his heart. Pushing it aside as best as he could, he went back to staring outside. He was terribly nervous about returning to District 1. That was his home District. Would his family still be alive? Would they help him out? Would they be okay with Blaine being in love with Kurt? Blaine was starting to tremble.

When Kurt woke up, he looked up at Blaine for a long time. Blaine stared back every now and then. After a while, Kurt finally spoke. "My family's gone. They're dead. They're...gone..." Kurt's voice was shaky and when Blaine looked at Kurt, Blaine had found tears welling up in Kurt's wide blue eyes.

Hoping it'd do something, anything, to help comfort Kurt, Blaine pressed his lips against Kurt's temple, pulling him closer. Kurt rested his head back down on Blaine's shoulder and let out a shaky sigh. The loving arms that had entrapped Kurt were worth everything. It made Kurt feel something. All Kurt wanted to do was be in Blaine's arms...nowhere else.

After an hour, they had finally reached District 1. They got off the train, showed their tickets to the Peacekeepers waiting to check the passengers, and were kindly directed into the street that followed into the main part of it. When they really got into the Town Square of District 1, Kurt widened his eyes. It was all far more different than District 8, or at least what District 8 used to be. People were staring at them. Even the Peacekeepers were curious. They looked so out of the ordinary -- different. And then there were ones who stared at them because they were walking hand-in-hand.

"B...Blaine?" an exasperated voice asked from behind them.
