The apartment was silent as Kurt stepped out of the shower, scratching a towel through his hair as he wrapped another one around his waist. Droplets of water still clung to his skin as he hurried out of the bathroom to get his answer from Blaine. As soon as they had returned home from the tribute's training center, Kurt had told Blaine that he was going to get his shower while Blaine should be writing down his explanation. Kurt just felt weirdly concerned and curious about this whole situation.
Blaine was sitting on the couch, writing slowly still in his notebook. When he caught sight of Kurt, he gasped and looked away. Kurt detected a faint blush rising in Blaine's cheeks.
With a now-red face, Blaine remained staring at the carpet as he outstreched his notebook to Kurt. But before Kurt could grab the notebook, Blaine rested it back on his knees and wrote another sentence. Finally he gave it back to Kurt. "That Avox back a the training building is an old...lover, you could say. We grew up together back in District 1. Then in school, we had...a kind of romance. His name is Sebastian Smyth. We were partners up until a year before I was taken away to become an Avox. I was so shocked to see that he too had become and Avox. I'm sorry if I had concerned you in any way," it read.
Kurt sighed, nodding his head as he looked up at Blaine. Then he shook his head as he said, "Don't worry. It's okay. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Does it hurt?" Kurt asked him, handing back his notebook.
"Does what hurt?" Blaine wrote.
"Seeing an old lover."
Blaine shrugged. "Not really. If anything, I was just shocked. I have no feelings for him anymore," Blaine quickly scribbled.
Kurt found himself relieved. How, he didn't know. But all he did know was that he was just glad that Blaine didn't have feelings for this...Sebastian anymore.
Kurt watched as Blaine looked down at his wrists and picked at his bandages. Suddenly, Kurt remembered how he had treated Blaine's raw burns from the handcuffs he had been in for however long he had been in them. He gently took Blaine's wrists, looking down at them with him.
"Is it okay that I check that I check your wrists? I wanted to see if they healed or not."
When Blaine didn't do anything as a form of 'no' or 'yes', Kurt took it as a 'yes' and readied to take off the bandages. "I'm going to make this as quick and painless as possible," Kurt said before he quickly ripped off the bandage.
Blaine's face twisted into a harsh cringe as a hiss came soring out of his mouth along with a slight whimper. Kurt's face turned from concerned to apologetic. "I'm sorry!"
Blaine just shook his head and sighed slowly, his eyes opening up to meet Kurt's. Maybe Blaine wasn't so accustomed to pain...even though he was an Avox.
Kurt then looked back down at Blaine's other wrist. "One more," Kurt then said.
Blaine just nodded his head, his eyes cringing shutin ready. Kurt ripped the other one off, causing a more faint hiss falling from Blaine's face.
Kurt looked down at the wrists and then let out a relieved sigh. Blaine had completely healed. And as if he couldn't help himself, he slowly bent his head down until he placed faint butterfly kisses on the location where the burns once were. Blaine sighed slowly and audibly, allowing Kurt to hear him clearly.
Kurt kissed the other wrist, then placing a kiss on the inside of Blaine's palm, followed by the next. Then Kurt looked up at Blaine. Blaine's caramel brown eyes had somehow darkened and widened. It must have been a cross of passion, worry, concern, and...something else that Kurt couldn't place his finger on.
The next thing Kurt knew, Blaine had his hands tangled in Kurt's hair and his lips pressed against Kurt's roughly. Kurt let out a moan and nearly dropped his head backwards because of Blaine's hands. When Blaine pulled his hands away, Kurt cupped Blaine's face and traced Blaine's lips with his tongue, bidding for Blaine to open up so Kurt could tangle his tongue with his. At first, Kurt didn't know what was happening, but when he realized what was just really happening, he let out another moan and kissed Blaine with greed and need.
Somewhere among the heavy kissing, grabby hands, and muffled moans, Kurt had managed to get a faint moan out of Blaine, which nearly drove him over the edge. Blaine was so incredibly beautiful that Kurt just didn't want this to stop. Not at all.
Before Kurt knew it, they were stumbling towards Kurt's bedroom. Blaine was being so bold, it shocked Kurt completely. But Kurt loved it. Upon scrambled piles of shredded clothes, tangled sheets, and a sunset light shining from behind the drawn curtains, Kurt made love to Blaine that evening.
A loud rining. It was faint, but noticable. Kurt had fallen asleep amongst bliss as he tried his hardest to ignore the ringing, but he couldn't. The ringing wouldn't stop. Kurt's eyes slowly blinked open, groaning at how tired he was. He didn't want to wake up. Next to him, Blaine laid curled up against Kurt's naked side. Naked. Kurt's eyes widened as he put a hand over his mouth, trying to make sure he didn't wake Blaine up. He slowly got out of bed, careful not to wake up Blaine as he pulled on some pants and hurried out of his apartment, and to his front shop door. he looked through the blinds to see Rachel.
Shit.
Kurt quickly put his hand to his hair, which was a major mess. He rolled his eyes as Rachel rung the bell once more. Kurt quickly opened up the door enough for Rachel to hurry inside. The only light that shined through the shop was the morning light from the outside.
"What have you been doing!? I've been trying to get a hold of y-" Rachel caughts sight of Kurt, her eyes widening for a moment before a scandalous and evil expression webbed into her face. "What the hell happened to you?"
"Um, nothing. What's up?" Kurt asked? His voice felt rough. Maybe Blaine had accidentally fallen asleep with a wrist rested on Kurt's throat.
Rachel gave him a weird look. "I just wanted to have lunch with you." Rachel's eyes roamed the store. "Where's your Avox?"
Kurt's heart was beating so hard, almost like a warning signal heading up this brain. "Um. Upstairs?"
Rachel's face explained something that alarmed Kurt entirely. Before Kurt could stop her, Rachel was hurrying up the stairs to his apartment. "Rachel, wait! RACHEL!"
Kurt found Rachel frozen before Kurt's opened bedroom door. Kurt sighed and burried his face in his hands. Blaine was still sleeping, now cuddled up against the blankets that he had somehow managed to group up in the shape of a body, his naked back exposed.
"Kurt. Elizabeth. Hummel," Rachel said slowly.
Kurt was panicking.
Blaine let out a moan and lifted his head up slightly, his eyes slowly openining and registering what was going on. And then his eyes laid on Kurt and Rachel. It was no time at all when his eyes widened and mouth dropped open wide, frozen in fear and terror.
"Shit. Rachel. You need to leave. Like, right now."
"Um, no. We need to talk about what's going on here. Kurt, this is a serious matter!"
"Not now, Rachel. I need you to keep this a secret, alright? Please," Kurt begged Rachel with wide eyes and furrowed eyebrows.
"And what makes you think I should do that?"
"Because you're my friend!? Isn't that what friend's do!?"
Blaine was still frozen in shock.
Rachel mumbled a bunch of insignificant words and allowed Kurt to push her down the hall, out the apartment door, down the steps, and out of the shop. Kurt quickly locked up the door and hurried back upstairs to Blaine, who was struggling to get out of bed. When Kurt found Blaine, Blaine had falled out of bed, entangled in the sheets. Then he had managed to untangle himself from the sheets, grabbing his pants and tugging them on as he pushed past Kurt in the doorway.
"Blaine!" Kurt called out to him in a worried voice.
Blaine just shook his head and slammed his bedroom door shut behind him.
Kurt walked over to the door and knocked a few times. "Blaine, please. Open this door up."
No response.
"Sweetie, please?" Kurt tried the doorknob, but the door was locked. "Let me in. Please, Blaine."
Still no response.
Kurt sighed angrily and ran a hand through his rumpled hair, walking into the kitchen to grab something to eat. No use in going back to bed now. How was he going to explain this to Rachel later? Rachel wasn't even supposed to see what had happened. This was not good at all.
