"Mi, mi, mi, mi, mi, mi, mi, mi, mi."
"Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma."
"La, di, da, di, da, di, di, la, da."
"Okay, take five guys." Mr Jones, our drama teacher, called out to us.
I took a swig from my water bottle.
"Hey, boy." Brittany said as she sat down next to me.
"Hey." I replied while reading the script for the school play.
"So, what did'ya get in the math exam?" Oh god. I really failed that one. 12%.
"Um, not so good. How about you?" I asked casually, trying not to be too obvious about my shitty mark.
"I got like, 76%. I don't know if that's good or not, so." Brittany replied in her usual ditzy manner... Wait, what?! Brittany S. Pierce, the girl who asked me how to spell 'curtain' in English last year, got a better mark than me on a math test!? I know I'm not good at math or anything, but Brittany is absolutely shit!
"Adam? Are you gonna tell me your score or not?" Back to the real world.
"Uh, I kinda got, like, 12%?" I whispered.
"12%!? That's so bad!" Britt yelled at the top of her lungs. I swiftly put my hand over her mouth.
"Shut up!" I whisper-shouted as I pulled her into a corner.
"So, I kinda failed this one! So what?" I yelled quietly.
"I'm sorry, Kurt, but I thought you always said honesty is the best policy." Britt stated with a stupid tone to her voice.
"Oh, my, god, Brittany. Honesty is the best policy but you're not supposed to tell everyone in the whole choir room! Besides, maybe I need a tutor."
"Yes, OMG, and then you can be as good as me at math!" Brittany said excitedly.
"Yeah, no." I replied while walking away from Britt.
A tutor. Kurt Hummel has never needed a tutor in his life. Kurt Hummel is good at everything. And I do mean, everything. Phys Ed., history, geography, Drama, music, art, religious ed., technology, computer sciences, physics, chem., biology...everything. Everything.
