I Love You for Who You Are

Blaine:

"Hey sexy," Kurt strode up to his boyfriend.

"Um...hey Kurt," Blaine stared Kurt. Confused Blaine looked Kurt up and down, "What happened to your clothes?"

Kurt, who was wearing jeans and a rugby shirt, shrugged, "I like it. Way better than the clothes I had before. Don't you think?"

"Um...well...I suppose...um," Blaine didn't know what to say. What had gotten into Kurt? "Yeah. Um...yeah they look...um...quite nice," Blaine scratched his head.

"Do you want to come round to mine later? Maybe we could," but Kurt didn't finish, instead he kissed Blaine on the lips.

"Kurt!" Blaine pulled away. "Stop it! What's wrong with you?" Blaine picked up his school books that he had dropped on the floor in total shock.

"What's wrong with me?" Kurt scoffed, "The question is Blaine, what's wrong with you?!"

"Kurt be quiet! People are watching," Blaine said. He was right, people had began to stare at them.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I was only trying to have a little fun!" Kurt shouted at him.

"I'm serious Kurt. Shut up!" Blaine said. "Let's go." Blaine pulled on Kurt's arm who, after giving the people around them dirty looks, followed him looking triumphant.

"What's up Kurt?" Blaine stopped once they were outside. "Have you borrowed Sebastian's clothes or something?" Blaine looked Kurt up and down again, "And his attitude?"

"People change Blaine!" Kurt screamed at him. But Blaine could see the crystal clear tears in his gorgeous eyes.

"But you can't change Kurt. You're mine and I love you for who you are," Blaine said quietly. He put a hand on Kurt's arm but Kurt pulled it away. The tears were now streaking down his beautiful face.

"Maybe you should have thought about how much you like me for who I am when you were letting Sebastian flirt with you! How could you do that to me?! I love you Blaine but you love someone else!"

"Kurt, that's not what-" Kurt was already running off. "Kurt!" Blaine yelled after him but Kurt didn't look back.

2 hours later, Kurt:

"-and then Blaine said that he loved me for who I am but I know he likes Sebastian better. I just know!" Kurt wailed. Then he wondered how on earth he had ended up telling this story to Carole.

"Kurt, honey, I'm sure you're just over reacting," Carole put her arm around Kurt's shoulders.

Since he had gotten home, Kurt had changed out of the horrendous clothes that Sebastian seemed to think were sexy and his face was now even more tear struck than when he had left Blaine outside the Lima Bean earlier.

"I'm not over reacting!" Kurt said through the masses of tears streaming down his face.

"Kurt, why is there a rugby top on the floor in your-" Burt walked into the room. He stopped to stare at Kurt crying on Caroline's shoulder.

Carole put a finger to her lips as Burt went to say something.

"He...he just doesn't love...me anymore!" Kurt screamed before bursting into more fits of tears.

"No need to cry Kurt, honey," Carole shushed him. "Everything will be fine tomorrow. You probably shouldn't be so negative. Why don't you call Blaine and work everything out?"

"I'm not calling him!" Kurt pulled away from his stepmother. "He should call me because it's-" Kurt's phone began to vibrate from his pocket. It was Blaine."Blaine?"

"Kurt...hi, Kurt. Could I come round?"

"Of course, you're always welcome at mine."
"Yeah...I know...I just thought that after today...well never mind. See you in a minute."

Kurt felt a glimmer of hope. Blaine was coming.

Ten minutes later, Blaine:

"Hi Blaine," Kurt answered the door almost as soon as Blaine had finished knocking.

"Hey Kurt. Can I come in?"

"Yeah. Sure," Kurt stood aside to let Blaine in. Blaine felt a familiar rush of warmth. Kurt lead him into the sitting room.

"Kurt I'm so sorry," Blaine blurted out. "I'm sorry about Sebastian. I was stupid and foolish and I was an idiot to think that you wouldn't mind me being nice to him and letting him flirt with me. I love you and you are the only one for me." Blaine’s eyes were full of tears.

Kurt smiled, "I'm sorry to. I shouldn't have said all those things today. I shouldn't have been like that, I was just over reacting that's all," Kurt sighed. He looked at Blaine who was now staring down at Kurt lovingly.

"It's too easy for us to make up," Blaine said.

"It's because we're perfect together," Kurt whispered.

"You really think so?"
"Of course. I only think it because it's true," Kurt laughed.

"I know. And I think it too," Blaine smiled.

"You do?"
"Yes. How couldn't I?"
"I have no idea."

"Just do one thing for me. Never change Kurt because I love you for who you are, that's what makes you special." Kurt only smiled then, to show his answer, kissed Blaine on the cheek.
