Sebastian Smythe
Kurt’s hand was entwined with Blaine’s as they walked to their favourite seats in the Lima Bean. Someone was sitting there. Not just someone, Sebastian Smythe.
"Heeey." Sebastian said in his usual sexy voice.
"Oh, hi Sebastian!" Blaine said in his usual adorable voice.
"Kurt." said Sebastian bluntly.
"Bitch." said Kurt swiftly back.
"Ok, ok guys. No need to fight."
Kurt sat down with his head resting on Blaine’s shoulder. He didn’t care what the homophobes thought; just that Sebastian knew Blaine was his.
"So, what’s happening?" said Blaine innocently. Ah, Kurt thought, he is adorable!
"Well, I-"
"Blaine, I really need someone to come round to mine tonight. I mean I just had such a bad week and I really need to kiss, I mean talk it out." said Sebastian interrupting Kurt rudely.
Kurt slammed his soft hand on the table.
"Ok, I'm sorry but who the hell do you think you are?! Flirting with my boyfriend right in front of me! How dare you!?"
"Well, at least I don’t dress and talk like a girl!" Sebastian said calmly back.
"God, I just hate you. I hate you Sebastian Smythe. You are the worst thing that has ever happened and I wish you leave Ohio and never come back. Besides, the world would be so much better if you weren’t here. That’s all."
Kurt got up and left. Blaine looked at Sebastian. Tears were rolling down his face.
"Are you ok?"
"Yes, yes. I’m fine."
“No, really?"
Sebastian sighed.
"It’s just all that Kurt said is true. The world would be better off without me. I suck."
"No you don’t. Kurt just gets jealous really easily."
“I do. That’s what my dad says anyway." Sebastian said quietly.
"Is this what it’s about?"
"Yes, goddamit. I just want to fit in. it’s not fair that I don’t get a shot at love!"
"But what about all your boyfriends?"
Sebastian laughed a cold, lifeless laugh. "I made them up. I've never been kissed. It’s not fair. I’m not confident or anything." he lay his head down on the table.
"Look I'll talk to Kurt for you. I swear I'll do anything to help you." Blaine touched Sebastian's hand.
Blaine got up and walked off. As he walked away, Sebastian smiled mysteriously to himself....
NEXT DAY AT MCKINELY.
Blaine walked up to his perfect boyfriend getting books out of his locker. “Hey sweetie pie!” Blaine said happily.
“Why, hello there babe!” Kurt replied. Kurt smiled at his intensely gorgeous boyfriend. He was so, what’s the word? Wonderful.
“Oh, yeah. We need to talk, it’s kinda urgent.” Blaine said quietly.
“Oh no. Has your dad…?” Kurt did an action of someone getting punched with his hands.
Blaine laughed. “No, no. It’s about Sebastian.”
Kurt’s face fell. What could be so important about Sebastian that Blaine thought was urgent? “Oh. Have you finally realised how horrid Sebastian truly is?”
Blaine lightly punched Kurt in the arm. “Shut it. You have to be nicer to him for a change.” Blaine replied.
“What? Are you kidding me? You want me to be nice to a guy who called me a bitch?” Kurt replied sounding offended.
“Actually you called him that. He’s had a hard time, just go easy on him. Please?” Blaine said.
Kurt was lost for words. He knew Blaine wasn’t the smartest guy in the world, but he wasn’t stupid, dumb, idiotic or foolish.
“What are you talking about? He was saying that so you would go and have an intense make out session with him!” Kurt yelled quietly.
“No, I mean when he came out. His dad was horrible to him, just like me.”
“Oh, so now you have everything in common with him?” Kurt said quickly and angrily.
The bell rang. Kurt and Blaine walked into the choir room. “You know what? You always make things about you.” Kurt was about to speak.
“No. Just listen to me. It’s never about me. Never.” Blaine said quietly as they walked up to their usual spot, right at the back.
Are you kidding me? When you were hurt by your dad, who took you in? Me? Not Sebastian? Yeah, that’s right.” Kurt said rudely.
“Oh just shut it you frickin’ diva.” Blaine said under his breath as they sat down.
“What? What did you just say?” Kurt stood up suddenly.
“I called you a frickin’ diva. Yeah, I said it. You are a diva! An annoying one too!” Blaine shouted at him.
Kurt was hurt. And he was angry. “I can’t believe you just said that! How dare you!?” Kurt yelled at him. Blaine got to his feet.
“Excuse me for saying what everyone has on their minds. I know when you make remarks about my fashion sense, I should find it funny, but you know what? It hurts me. I try really hard and you just put me down, take all the courage I have left!” Blaine looked angrily into Kurt’s eyes.
Kurt was speechless. He had no idea it had hurt him so much. “Fine! We’ll break up then.” All the New Directions members gasped. “But, Blaine, I hope you remember that it is your entire fault that we’re apart. That it’s your entire fault that I would be too depressed over our horrible breakup to get up off my ass to actually get a job. It’s your entire fault.
“No, Kurt! Please, I don’t wanna break up!” Blaine begged.
“It’s fine. You can have a happy, lovely life with Sebastian while I lose my chance to actually have a perfect life with you.” Kurt said, tearing welling up in his eyes. He couldn’t see Blaine anymore through his tears he was trying to hold back.
“Whatever. Maybe I will then! I don’t care about you anymore.” Blaine replied angrily.
Kurt felt so small and worthless. “You said you loved me.” He whispered almost silently as a stray tear rolled down his hot cheeks.
“Well, I was wrong!” Blaine shouted back at him. Kurt couldn’t control his anger. He pushed Blaine and yelled at him:
“All this time I thought you were the one for me! I lost my virginity to you, all for nothing!” The rest of the glee club was watching in awe. “I loved you Blaine Anderson. I loved you so much and now it doesn’t matter anymore, because you’re in love with someone else.” Tears were rolling uncontrollably down his face.
“I am not in love with Sebastian! But I’m not in love with you anymore. Goodbye Kurt, I hope I forget you.” His eyes were filling up with tears as he walked out of the choir room.
After school!
Kurt walked into what was him and Blaine’s favourite place on earth. He felt incomplete without him. He accidently bumped into Sebastian who gave him the evils.
“You don’t need to hate me anymore.” Kurt replied, his voice shaking.
“Oh yeah? Why’s that, Hummel?” Sebastian replied suspiciously. Kurt hated when he called him Hummel. Kurt sat down on a table and lay his head down.
“W-we b-broke up.” Kurt whispered his voice wobbling. He looked up at Sebastian.
“You what?” Sebastian said immediately.
“Yeah, you heard me. We broke up, thanks to you.” Kurt said coldly. Sebastian’s throat closed up. He wanted Blaine, but he didn’t want to hurt anyone getting him.
“I-I’m so sorry. Really I am.” Sebastian said solemnly.
Kurt looked up at Sebastian through his stinging tears. “Of course you are.” Kurt said grimly.
“I mean it. I like Blaine, but I didn’t want to hurt you. I-I…” Sebastian trailed off.
“Are you ok?” Kurt looked up at his nemesis.
Sebastian laughed sadly. “It’s just all my life I’ve wanted proper relationships. Not like the ones I have when I sleep with the guy and never talk to him again. I want a- a guy to love me the way Blaine loves you.”
Kurt was shocked.
“I think you two are perfect for each other. I just can’t believe you broke up.” Sebastian whispered. Kurt thought for a moment. Although he hated Sebastian, he had a point. They were, are, perfect for each other. All that they went through, all that they would. He just couldn’t believe it was all over because of some stupid argument they had over some guy. Kurt got up.
“Where are you going?” Sebastian questioned.
“To fix something I should have.” Kurt walked out with a smile on his face.
At Blaine’s home!
#you were only-#
“Hello? Kurt?”
“Hey. Hey Blaine. We need to talk.”
“Oh, ok.”
“Look, all that stuff I said to you wasn’t true. I-I…” Kurt trailed off; he sniffed and wiped away his tears.
“Kurt? Are you crying?”
He tried to speak but nothing came out.
“Are you there?”
Kurt broke down in tears and shoved his head in his pillow.
“B-Blaine, I-I’m j-just so-“
“Shh, Kurt. Why don’t I meet you at the coffee place at 5.00?”
“Yes-yes please.”
Kurt hung at and stared at a picture of him and Blaine which he always kept by his bed, just to remember how much he loves him and wants him.
At the Lima Bean
Kurt walked through the door and looked around. Where was Blaine? He sat down at a table and got out his phone. He was already 5 minutes late. Kurt got bored of waiting and went up to the barista.
“Hello, Kurt! How are you today?” Marge, the old barista asked him in her usual cheerful tone.
“I’m fine, thanks. Can I get the usual?” Kurt asked. Marge knew Kurt and Blaine very well and she didn’t care when they held hands over the table or declared their love for each other. It was like their own little world, where they belonged. Marge herself was a lesbian and everyone loved and accepted her, just like everyone in the Lima Bean did with Kurt and Blaine.
“Anything for Blaine?” Before Kurt could speak, he felt a comforting hand on his shoulder. It was Blaine, he was breathing heavily, as if he had run all the way from his house to there.
“Yeah, one medium drip-“
“With a cinnamon shot. Got it, just make yourselves comfortable.” Marge replied, interrupting Blaine.
Kurt and Blaine walked away from the counter and sat down.
“Kurt look-“Blaine began.
“No, listen to me. I am so sorry for all the things I said to you. I don’t want to break up, especially not with you. This is all my fault, I started our worthless argument.” Kurt whispered, looking into Blaine’s beautiful and tear- filled eyes.
“It’s not your fault. I do love you; I never ever stop loving you. Y-you are my whole life. Every night I go to sleep dreaming about you and the future we could have together. I-I’m just so sorry for all the things I said to you.” Blaine sighed with tears falling down his face.
Kurt placed his hand on Blaine’s, just the way he always did when he felt so in love.“I love you too. I need you Blaine; I need you in my life. Without you, life would just be nothing to me. You are the reason I get up in the mornings, you are the reason I still wear scarves in the summer.”
Blaine laughed a breath-taking laugh.
“You are the reason I love little canaries but mainly, you are the reason I’m still here. When I moved to Dalton, it was so hard, but you helped me through it. When I got nominated for prom queen, you helped me. You’ve just done so much for me and I-I just can’t picture me without you.” Kurt said with his voice shaking violently and fat, salty tears coursing down his face.
Blaine looked up at his gorgeous, amazing, courageous boyfriend. “I’m so proud of you.” Blaine whispered almost silently.
“I’m proud of you too.” Kurt said, his voice drowning in his tears. Blaine touched Kurt’s cheek as his boyfriend looked around to see if anyone was watching.
“Shh, don’t look.” Blaine said, lightly turning his face to his. Kurt stopped breathing. Blaine was so near him. He was millimetres away from his mouth.
“You’re mine.” Kurt said quietly as he felt Blaine’s breathe on his face.
“Always and forever.” Blaine replied, pressing his mouth to Kurt’s.
