Chapter 18.
Mystery of Bowties;
Blaine sat at the end of my bed. He had legs crossed, eyes moving across the pages of a book he'd found on my shelf. I sat on the other side with the laptop on my lap. I smiled at the sight of him, how normal this felt.
"Waiting for someone?" Blaine asked, his eyes not leaving the book.
"Uhm, No." I replied, pushing the laptop away from me just slightly.
"Who is it?" He asked, a small smile lying on his lips.
"It's just some guy. Well.. I hope it's a guy.." I considered it, the name bowties seemed masculine, did it not? "We talk a lot. It's just weird, him not being online." I shrugged.
"What's his name?"
"I don't really know. He won't tell me." I twisted my lips to the side.
"Isn't that a bit odd?" A frown touched his forehead.
"He's nice though." I whispered, messing with the ends of my bed sheets.
I heard him chuckle, causing me to look up.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing." He smiled broadly.
"What?" I laughed nervously, now pushing my laptop completely off my lap. "Tell me?" I crawled across the bed towards him.
"Nah," He teased.
"Why not?" I pouted sightly.
"No, no let's not do that face."
"Why?" I blinked with big eyes, kneeling up. "Are you going to tell me why?"
He smirked and shook his head.
"Tell me." I whispered, I grabbed his face and turned his head towards mine.
Bad move, Kurt. Bad move. The same startled feeling submerged in my chest at the sight of the chestnut eyes.
His eyes faltered to my lips. His smile had vanished. He was so close and I dropped my hands to my sides. He, however, repeated my actions across on my cheeks, moving me forward where our lips touched. My breath escaped through my nose as quickly as I breathed it in, my chest tightened and everything stopped. His eyes were closed as he pulled away, a pained expression. "I can't." He whispered, opening his eyes. "Oh, fuck." He breathed, covering his face with his hands.
"Blaine?" I mumbled.
"I've got to go." He moved away from me.
"Please don't..." I panicked.
His lips pursed. "It's not you. It's me."
Oh, the dump line.
"Blaine, I like you."
"Kurt, please don't." He grabbed the handle to my door.
"The guy I was on about to my dad, It's you Blaine. I really like you."
He closed the door, I stared at it. Groaning I threw my back against it.
___
Kurt says: Where are you when I need you!!
Sent an hour ago.
Bowties; says: What's wrong?
I heard the beep and opened my eyes.
Kurt says: He kissed me, I don't know what to do. He just left. I told him I like him and he left.
Bowties; says: He probably didn't know what to say. I don't see why he'd not care.
Kurt says: Because he can do so much better than me.
Bowties; says: He'd be so lucky to have you.
I paused. And looked at the words, staring at me.
Kurt says: I don't deserve him though.
Bowties;says: Kurt. If he can't see it, then why weep over him? move on x
Kurt says: I can't. I like him. A lot.
Bowties; says: Kurt..
Kurt says: I really like him. I need to tell him. I'm going to ring him.
Bowties; says: Kurt, don't. Don't ring him!
I grabbed my phone.and searched his name.
Bowties; says: Kurt its me. It's Blaine.
I furrowed my eyebrows.
Kurt says; That's sick. Don't lie to me.
Bowties; has invited you to cam.
The beep was continous, I swallowed and clicked accept.
The small box was loading, then there was his face. I blinked.
"No." I whispered.
He smiled nervously.
__
I shook my head and clicked offline. I breathed. "What the fuck just happened?" I aimed at the laptop.
My phone started ringing, I left it, I didn't know what to say. It didn't make sense, none of it made sense.
"Kurt, it's Blaine. I'm sorry. I, wanted to talk to you. I'm a complete idiot, it got in too deep. I couldn't just stop. I can make it up to you, Kurt please pick up the phone."
"You sneaky little.." I said into the phone, "All this time!"
"I can.. well, I can't-I don't know what I was thinking."
"You weren't.."
"No, I.. Kurt, I'm sorry!"
"Forget it. I'm tired I'm going to head to bed." I shot back, anger shooting through my senses.
"I'll see you at school?"
"Yeah, I guess you will, Bowties." I ended the call. I closed my laptop and got into the covers.
