Kurt took in a deep breath as he looked at his fellow members of Glee Club. They were all getting settled into their seats in Rachel's basement. They all looked at him waiting for him to say something to tell them all why they were there. Kurt smiled as he thought of the reason. His perfect, amazing reason.
"As everyone knows, from me talking about it, Blaine is turning nineteen this weekend. I want to throw a party." Everyone was quiet, but at least none of them looked ready to protest. "He feels like an outside, like you guys don't accept him and guys he's one of us now. We should throw him a party." Rachel stood up.
"Blaine's one of my best friends, I'm completely for throwing him a party!" She said with a bright smile. Santana raised her free hand, her other was being held in Brittany's lap.
"Anderson's pretty cool. He helped me a lot so I think I should repay him." Every one nodded.
"So, it's settled. This weekend we have a party at my house for Blaine!" Kurt clapped. Finn pulled out his phone as it began ringing.
"Hello? Dad? Uh, yeah Kurt's right here." Finn held out the phone towards Kurt who took it with a confused look in his eyes.
"Dad?" There was a shuffling on the other line.
"Kurt, Blaine just texted your phone. His parents are fighting. I told him that you weren't home and he hasn't said anything back." Kurt knew exactly how Blaine felt about his parents fighting.
"I'll run over there and see if he's okay." His father agreed and hung up the phone. Kurt grabbed his keys. "I have to go. Something's wrong with Blaine." Finn stood up.
"I'll go with you." Kurt nodded and headed for his vehicle. Finn followed him.
Kurt didn't know how he made it to Blaine's house in record time, but he did. And when he did he wished that he had gotten there sooner.
There was an ambulance in the drive way and a fire truck at the curb. All he could think of was, Not Blaine. Did the fighting get out of hand? No, it couldn't have, right? Kurt turned off the vehicle and dashed out towards the door. Blaine's mother met him at the door.
"Kurt! Thank goodness, Blaine locked himself in the bathroom and he won't wake up." Though the words were upsetting there were no tears in her eyes. Kurt's eyes had turned into waterfalls. He pushed past everyone, not caring that they told him to move away. One of the EMTs were trying to preform CPR on his boyfriend, but.. Blaine looked so dull. He didn't have that glow that Kurt loved so much. He made his way towards Blaine and knelt down next to him, tears falling onto Blaine's face.
"Blaine, please wake up. Don't leave me." He begged, pushing the strands of hair out of Blaine's beautiful face. "Please. Please. Please come back to me. I can't live without you. Please come back." He felt a hand on his back and cried harder as Finn pulled him towards him. Kurt buried his head in Finn's neck as Finn held him tightly, letting him cry.
"It's gonna be okay." Finn lied. "We'll be okay." Kurt wanted to believe those lies. He wanted to believe that Blaine would sit up and wonder what was going on, but.. When he felt Blaine's.. body.. Blaine was cold. That light was gone. Finn tightened his grip around his brother as he stared at Blaine. He was lifted up into the ambulance where they would determine the cause of death. Death..
Finn's shirt was soaked with Kurt's tears, but he didn't care. Kurt could cry all he wanted on him. Kurt deserved to be able to cry. Finn wasn't going to stop him.
