Every single touch, every audible breath, every sense he was gaining was sending his head spinning in the most amazing way possible. He felt like he should be emotionally drained from the extent of his highs and lows of the previous minutes. Everything felt just so new, so tender and raw that he had to be careful and nurture rather than smother them. The actor could feel the flushing of his cheeks radiating out into the room as Blaine’s gentle hold on his cheek was released - not without Kurt noting the callouses light friction against his cheeks and smiling slightly at the thought. As much as he wanted more, he never wanted it to end, Kurt knew that it had to because pushing any further would be dangerous not only for Blaine but for himself when they were feeling so open and raw and vulnerable, holding eachother up with reassurance.

The actor couldn’t help but give the dark haired man a slight tap on the arm, clicking his tongue sharply and shaking his head playfully. “Putting me through such torment to have your way with me here… I should hit you…” Kurt leaned into the kiss with a wide grin, sighing contently, “but I suppose… I can forgive you for your timing.” Kurt took his hand, helping himself up, feeling comfortable with their closeness before glancing to the window. “You do realize it’s raining outside, don’t you?” Although normally his tone would have been the short to completely rip down anything of the sort, it was juxtaposed with his smile and contrasting positive movements towards the door - not once letting go of Blaine’s hand. He pushed open the door with his forearm and took in the cool evening air, feeling it his his cheeks to cool their blush. “Okay, you’re lucky… It’s not raining anymore.”

Blaine smiled innocently, “Oh you know it’s mutual, you messed around with my emotions just as much as I did with yours, if not more. But nevermind that, I’d rather not get hit,” he chuckled, keeping the satisfied smile on his face when Kurt leaned into his lips as he kissed the actor’s cheek. “I am glad that you can forgive me for my timing though, and I’m glad I was stupid enough to actually kiss you.” Blaine grinned playfully as he pulled Kurt to his feet and slipped his free hand into his pajama pants pocket, the ridiculous smile holding evenly on his lips. Squeezing the actor’s hand gently he glanced over at him for a split second, then checked the weather through the window to see just what he was getting himself into. With a skeptical, yet teasing smirk, he shook his head at Kurt who was clearly being sarcastic, “Are you like the Wicked Witch of the West or something? Does rain make you melt?” Blaine followed the man out of the door, continuing to hold Kurt’s hand since he seemingly wanted to keep that connected touch between the two of them. Of course he wasn’t going to complain, he loved that feeling of warmth that came from as simple of a touch as holding hands.

As they made their way out of the building and onto a paved pathway he walked closely to Kurt, letting his shoulder brush up against the other’s while he continued to hold his hand. “I was kind of hoping it would rain…now I can’t sing like Gene Kelly…what a shame.” Blaine glanced over at the actor, feeling another impulse to lean over and reach his lips to the man’s cheek, or maybe his lips…he looked away again, letting his eyes wander along the ground ahead of them as they seemingly walked nowhere in particular. “Do you mind if I ask a question? And you don’t have to answer it…” he hesitated, watching Kurt’s facial expression for a moment before adding, “…I’m just curious on one thing you said earlier. I understand if it’s a little much, especially with everything that has happened in the past…probably thirty minutes. But I still feel the need to ask nonetheless”. The musician shrugged his shoulders, feeling as though the only warmth he was receiving came from the fingers that were intertwined with his own. Perhaps going for a walk when it was late and cold…and possibly on the verge of raining, wasn’t exactly the best idea, especially considering how easily the actor seemed to get sick. “Maybe we should head back inside, I don’t want you to get sick again….”
