Kurt glanced at Blaine with a slight frown, momentarily confused by the worry in his tone before shifting his features into a kind smile. “Oh yeah, I’m fine - I’ve had much worse. I just wish my throat wasn’t so sore.” He half lied quietly, his voice cracking occasionally over the words. Really, Kurt had flat out refused medical help for so long that he’d managed to get a secondary infection from the tonsillitis. He hated doctors, in fact he was quite possibly a little frightened of them due to his terrible experienced previously with them. However, what was shocking him at this moment was how genuine Blaine’s concern seemed - the only other person who showed that level of concern was his dad, since most people weren’t too bothered with his health or well being. Kurt opened his mouth in a silent ‘ah’, complete with a gentle nod before taking another drink of the coffee. “Lucky for some!” He chuckled against the rim of the cup, one hand pushing through his hair in slightly annoyance as he felt it out of place. He noticed Blaine’s eyes flick over the room and bit his lip slightly. Normally it was so much more organized than this, but he couldn’t help but lapse on his tidying duties when he didn’t really want to leave his bed all that much. He sighed lightly, fighting the urge to say anything more about the room he would just sound incredibly obsessive and that was the last he needed.

Kurt smiled thankfully as Blaine pushed over the pillow, tucking it behind him to rest his spine against and stretched a little with the arch of his back and one leg being extended from the huddled position. “Are you really sure?” He raised his eyebrow lightly as Blaine took off his hoodie, tearing his eyes away by tucking into the coffee once again. “Because if you’re hot then I can always put a jumper on or something - don’t want you over heating.” Kurt leant over the side of his bed and bulled a fleeced blanket up to cover his legs as he settled back down. He wasn’t cold per se, but he was enjoying the warmth radiating from Blaine enough to make him convinced that his body must have been crazing the heat. “You know, you’re lucky you don’t have to watch this with me when I would actually sing along.” He laughed quietly, pursing his lips momentarily with a nod whilst fiddling with the remote’s batteries which seemed to have stopped working momentarily like every other time he’d used the machine; technology was ever to temperamental with Kurt. “Chinese sounds great!”

Blaine nodded his head in response, though it didn’t make him feel much better about how sick Kurt both sounded and looked, so clearly his more worried tone was still there. It kind of seemed as though the actor was lying to some degree, did he make it so obvious that he was concerned for his friend? Well he couldn’t exactly help it, that was just the way he was with these sorts of things, always looking after his friends and what not - thus including Kurt. Blaine took another sip of his coffee, smiling lightly at Kurt’s comment once he had lowered the cup from his lips. This room really was immaculate compared to his own where he literally had sheet music and books just about everywhere. His clothes were always clean but managed to end up in the most random places on his side of the dorm, though his roommate wasn’t much better about keeping their space neat and tidy. It really didn’t bother him all that much simply because he rarely spent time in his room, so what was the point of cleaning it up when the only thing he actually needed to get to was his closet?

Blaine made himself comfortable against the head of the bed as he rested one hand against his thigh while the other held his coffee cup firmly between his fingers. He swished around the liquid to gage about how much of his latte was actually left, and unluckily for him it was just about almost gone; this created a slight dilemma for Blaine, because knowing the way he had acted around Kurt last time he knew that his coffee was somewhat of a necessity if he wanted to keep himself from acting like a fool and losing his composure…so should he try to drag out what little was left or should he just man-up and down it, therefore dealing with whatever it was that he couldn’t handle himself? At the sound of Kurt’s voice Blaine automatically turned to look at him, shaking his head a little, “No really I’m fine, thanks,” he smiled kindly before glancing at his coffee with a challenging grin and drank down the rest of it. He couldn’t help but laugh at the man’s comment, “I don’t know if I’d consider it lucky, I do enjoy listening to you sing after all,” he replied with another bright smile as he placed the empty coffee cup on the bedside table. Grinning ever so slightly at Kurt’s inability to work the remote he gently took it from his hands, “How about I’ll take care of this and you can call the Chinese place?” he said, pulling his phone out of his pocket and handing it to Kurt before going back to working the remote.
