That actor coughed lightly into his fist, sighing loudly at the action and the consequent pain which he’d become accustomed to, yet still did annoy him. “I swear I’ll feel so bad if you end up getting this.” Kurt croaked out, humming in recognition of Blaine’s words, his lips twisting into a smile and giving a nod in the musician’s direction with that air of being impressed. Kurt didn’t actually own all that much Ralph Lauren, the designs didn’t tend to fit his style easily, although there were a few pieces he simply had to have, but he really appreciated the label all the same and he could see just how Blaine fitted into wearing it with such ease. Kurt’s shoe collection on the other hand ranged from Doc. Marten’s to moccasins to, regretfully, an old pair of gym shoes which rarely saw the light of day. “Good choice, although I regret to inform you that you’re not quite out of the path of deathly diseases there - but far safer.” He chuckled a little to himself, his fingers absentmindedly flying to his throat as if to soothe it while he grabbed for a lozenge. He couldn’t be dealing with waiting for the pain medication to settle in, no matter how large his pain threshold, not being able to breathe without being pain was beginning to grate on his nerves and he wasn’t really fancying the thought of being irritable when he had such lovely company.

Kurt eyed Blaine for a moment before gesturing to the window. “I can open that if you’re hot, I’ve lost all sense of temperature gage from being in this room too long.” He ran his fingernail down the rack of DVDs, sighing impatiently when he couldn’t quite spot the one he was after and placed his hands on his hips whilst walking slowly around the room and inspecting the surfaces. “I’m not complaining, but I’d gladly sit through an action movie right now - this room is so riveting.” Kurt muttered sarcastically, making a triumphant noise as he pulled the DVD case from under a script, and thankfully the DVD was actually inside the casing. “Well, since RENT started this off, I think it’s only right that we watch that one first.” He skillfully put it into the player, grinning as the menu came on and settled back into his previous position on the bed. “Are you hungry? Because we could order something in since the the likelihood is there’ll be at least two movies… so that’s three or four hours - unless you have plans for later of course.” The actor pursed his lips together, bringing his knees up to his chest as he hugged the coffee in the space between his legs and chest, relaxing into the steam rising from the cup.

Blaine made a slight disapproving face as Kurt coughed - in what seemed like a painful manner - and tried to hold back the worry from his tone, “Are you alright?…I mean, I know you’re sick and all but you sound pretty bad,” he said, realizing how moronic that probably sounded. No kidding he sounded bad, that’s why he’s sick. Blaine mentally shook his head at himself before taking another drink of his coffee, which helped to regain some of his composure at the taste of the deliciously warm liquid. He waved away Kurt’s comment, “Don’t worry, I have a pretty tough immune system,” he smiled lightly. At the sight of the actor’s approving smile with his shoe choice he couldn’t help but let his lips pull a little wider in recognition, simply because the drama major’s smile had that sort of effect on him. Running a couple fingers through his gelled over hair Blaine glanced from Kurt’s bed to his desk and all of his other belongings. Though it wasn’t exactly the most organized ever he couldn’t help but notice the numerous play scripts and literary books, as well as textbooks, lying around absentmindedly. Turning his attention back to his friend he smiled the slightest bit at his laugh, “I think I’ll be alright.”

As Blaine sat on Kurt’s bed he pushed a pillow towards the man next to him in case he wanted it and scooted across the sheets until his back was up against the head of the bed. Glancing over at the actor he shook his head with a polite smile, “No, it’s quite alright, I should be fine,” he replied, deciding to just take the hoody off entirely. He pulled the zipper all the way down and shrugged his shoulders out of it before placing it on the bed next to him with a breath of relief, finally I don’t feel like I’m about to catch aflame. Blaine watched the drama major with an idle eye as he made his way around the room looking for what he assumed to be a specific movie. Once Kurt found the movie, with a rather interesting triumphant noise, Blaine nodded his head in approval, “Sounds perfect to me,” he said, smiling a little as the man came back to take his original position on the bed next to him. “Um, kind of actually. Ordering food sounds pretty good. I know for a fact that I have the number for that Chinese place down the street in my phone. How does that sound?” he asked as he glanced sideways at him.
