Author's Notes: The End - of this chapter

Blaine barely pulled his lips away once he felt Kurt turning his head and leaning into the affectionate gesture. he smiled softly, barely placing another gentle kiss to the man’s jaw, his lips brushing ever so slightly against the other’s skin as he continued to sing, “That may be all I need”. He hesitated when he felt the comforter slipping away from him and over the still sleeping - or so he thought - body against his, and when Kurt tugged on his hand he was sure that the once slumbering being had finally started to stir, and Blaine couldn’t help but to smile whilst the actor slowly turned to face him. The musician untangled their fingers from one another, allowing the drama major to situate himself before he re-intertwined their fingers together. His feet shifted against the couch cushion until they were touching Kurt’s as the actor hid his face in Blaine’s neck and groaned sleeping, it was by far the most adorable thing he’d ever witness, “In darkness he is all I see. Come and rest your bones with me.” The feeling of soft gentle lips trailing up his neck caused his breathing to slow and become more shallow, his heartbeat picking up a trifling amount as the rhythmic words barely escaped in a pleasant whisper, “I’m driving slow on sunday morning”. The musician’s eyes shut closed, and he wiggled his fingers between the actor’s when he felt a warm forehead touch his. Letting out a relieving breath that he hadn’t even realized he’d been holding Blaine noted the calm air between the two warm bodies, the barely audible breath leaving Kurt’s partially open mouth, and the subconscious feeling of knowing that his lips were right there, merely centimeters away from his own. But then there was that comforting feeling that he had been begging to feel, it was short and sweet, meaning nothing more then the simple delicate and affectionate sensations it sent along his entire being as their lips touched for a brief, serenly perfect moment. As Kurt pulled away Blaine squeezed his hand gently, his eyes still closed as he finished his impromptu sunday morning singing in an almost blissful undertone, “…and I never want to leave”.
