Blaine continued to keep a hold on the fingers that were tangled with his while the two followed the hostess towards their table. Eyebrow raising with a small smile he turned to glance at Kurt, noting the expression on his face and tone in his voice, “Of course it’s under your name, who else would I put it under?” he asked with a chuckle as though it were a silly question. When the woman finally came to a stop in front of an empty table he gave her a polite smile and let his hand slip from Kurt’s to pull out his chair before motioning that he’d help with his coat. Lips pulling into a kind expression he let his hands run over the actor’s shoulders, his fingers slipping between the collars of his coat and button-down to slide the winter jacket from off his shoulders, allowing his arms to slip out of the sleeves before draping it neatly over the back of his seat. The music major helped Kurt scoot his chair in once he was seated and then removed his own coat from his frame, hanging it off the back of his chair and taking a seat a moment later. He ran his hand over his black tie to keep it flat against his chest and made sure it hadn’t wrinkled while taking off his soft leather sports jacket. Leaning forward just slightly he allowed his forearms to rest against the wooden surface and glanced over at Kurt with a small smile, his fingers lacing together casually, “You look wonderful by the way. I’m not sure if I’ve already told you that or not, but you do”.

Kurt pursed his lips with a touch of amusement before shrugging slightly. “I don’t know, maybe your name…” He gave a soft, barely audible laugh as he turned, letting Blaine help to remove his coat. Normally, Kurt would have protested. He’d constantly insisted that he was independent, he didn’t need anyone to ever look after him and treat him like he was some girl. But Blaine just held this charm, some Old Hollywood perfection which Kurt really just couldn’t bare to deny because it was so lovely and comfortable. He mouthed a thank you to Blaine as he settled in his seat, pulling the napkin from its intricate shape and laying it over his knee. This was one of those fancy restraunts where Kurt always felt that he had to exercise some form of obtuse mannerisms. He’d only been to a fancy restraunt a few times in his life, mostly for his birthdays and celebrations such as his acceptance into Tisch. They were, in his mind, an unnecessary cost which were definitely not something Kurt was willing to pay in the past. Of course, he’d been on a date or two to a somewhat decent restraunt but nothing like this. He had to purse his lips together to try and stop the awe from spreading over his features. Eventually, his eyes settled back onto Blaine and he allowed a soft smile to lace his lips until a blush flushed over his cheeks. His eyes flicked down to his clothing slightly selfconsciously. “Thank you,” Kurt eventually replied in a fond voice before lifting a hand to gesture towards Blaine slightly, “you don’t look so bad yourself, really.” His eyes glanced back around the restraunt with a slight shake of his head and a soft laugh. “I can’t believe you brought me here… I’ve wanted to come here ever since I drove past it one day.”
