Blaine raised his eyebrow the slightest bit at Kurt’s suggestion which quite simply meant that they’d be spending more time together, sure it’d probably involve them being in front of his Jeep in a greasy shirt and an old pair of jeans but who was he toever complain about the time he got to spend with Kurt? “That sounds like an absolutely marvelous idea, and I’d sincerely appreciate it if you did,” he said with a soft smile, always thankful for the kindness of this man’s heart. Chuckling for a short moment, an appreciative and almost expression crossed his features when he witnessed the theater major run his hand along the dash with great care, “Yes, I know Katy could use some help. As much as I love her she is getting slower as the weather is turning colder.” Blaine remembered the last time they had sat in his car, waiting patiently in handsome clothing for the Jeep to warm-up before they headed to the theater. Of course that memory led to the thought of him sitting on the side of the road with dirt and dust tracking onto his pant bottoms with not a care in the world as let himself breakdown, the actor kneeling right there in front of him as he tried to comfort the musician…. He mentally shook away the thoughts as he turned to look at Kurt, and as he spoke he noticed the gradual blush on the man’s cheeks from his words. Kurt looked so flustered as he stumbled over what to say in response, Blaine’s lips slowly pulling into a small smile at just how adorable the sight was. He honestly hadn’t expected the soft kiss to his cheek after he felt his hand being squeezed gently. The music major let out a quiet breath, beaming as he glanced elsewhere with his lips pulled into a genuine demeanor as he thought of nothing in particular except the everlasting feeling of Kurt’s delicate touch along his cheek. But eventually Blaine turned to the steering wheel, the same expression on his face as he pulled the Jeep out of ‘park’ and drove out of the lot, his fingers tightening their grasp gently on Kurt’s hand.

Kurt wasn’t exactly the most car-orientated person, but having being brought up by his dad around the garage in Lima, he had enough knowledge about them to surprise quite a lot of people. At least he knew he could fix his car at the side of the road if he broke down nine times out of ten and he wasn’t some feeble stereotype who couldn’t replace a tyre. The downside was definitely the grease and the dirt, which was why Kurt always had designated wear for such occasions and very rarely let anyone see him in that sort of state; but surely Blaine wouldn’t judge him too much. “We’ll turn you into a car mechanic yet, Mr. Anderson.” The actor announced with a soft chuckle at his own ridiculous exclamation. “I’m glad my car doesn’t have the same problem, I wouldn’t be nearly as patient as you. But we’ll sort her out for you, I’m visiting my dad this weekend so I can pick up some parts for you.” He gave a soft smile, looking back around the car before settling his gaze back onto Blaine’s. Kurt automatically cursed himself for blushing both so easily and so obviously - it was one of two things so bad about being as pale as he was; obvious blushing and easy bruising both of which were incredibly unfortunate. He relaxed back against the car seat, looking out of the window until he felt the heat in his cheeks calming down. He desperately did not need this unfortunate curse of the red face for their date, no matter how much it had felt like the right thing to do to kiss Blaine on the cheek, his blood vessels really weren’t letting up any time soon. He took a calming breath before noting just how smitten the fixed smile on his face was but made no move to change it. “So… You’re not going to cause us to argue over if I’m paying for my own meal are you?” Kurt added into the quiet with an amused tone.
