Blaine nodded his head the slightest bit, even though it still didn’t make any sense to him. He just couldn’t figure out why this all seemed so odd to him, because if he hadn’t done anything wrong then why did he feel this way? He was starting to run out of ways to distract himself, especially since his fingers were a little sore from literally playing the piano all day and not doing much else. So he laid them flat on his legs, stretching them out and clenching them to see just how sore they were. Maybe he’d try taking the day off from playing tomorrow. But then again, if he continued to feel the way he was at this moment in time, he probably wouldn’t be able to stay away from the piano or his guitar for longer then an hour at a time. It was his comfort, and right now that’s exactly what he needed, something to relax him and calm him down with such ease as his favorite instruments. The only thing he really had in his reach though was alcohol, and he knew better then just about anyone else to drink more then he should. Without lifting his eyes he simply shrugged his shoulders, “I don’t know, just kind of felt that way.” Blaine had never been decent at noticing the change in people’s voices and in their facial expressions to know when they were lying, telling the truth, or just plain messing with him. So for the time being all he could do was assume that he was being honest, “I understand,” he said simply, not knowing how else to reply. But at the mention of having another drink Blaine glanced at the empty glass, wondering if he should have another one…”No, no thank you. I think I’m just getting to head back to the dorms. I shouldn’t really be drinking anyways.” Blaine climbed to his feet and pulled his wallet out of his back pocket, putting a twenty on the table next to his glass, “I’m sorry about your wrist”. His eyes lingered over Kurt for a moment before he looked away, nodded his head to himself, and exited the restaurant area, back into the bar. Blaine slipped his hands into his jean pockets as he edged his way out of the building and back out into the night, stopping for a moment to take an even breath before continuing down the street.
